If the film is crap then it definitely needs 'faces' to sell it. The secret to selling any movie in Nig is the amount of buzz you can create and the track record of the director and or director. Case in point are Mainframe movies. They always sell cos people (i mean yoruba folks) trust Tunde Kelani a lot despite the fact that he may not even feature a known face as his main artiste. Buzz too sells movie a lot cos a movie may be bad but if u get the 'papers,electronic media,blogs etc talkin about them,curiousity will surely be heightened e.g. Ije and Mirror Boy. I havent watch them but i cant wait to. |

What's even the criteria for callin someone an ex-militant? Many of these boys have never seen a gun in their lives not to talk of carryin one . But when they heard govt is distributing free money they quickly turned into ex-militants. Our govt is the most clueless i've ever seen. |

Read the original post on Ikeji's blog a few days ago and the comments were filled with mostly attacking and castigating the hotels involved. But now on NL the comments are supporting the hotels and castigating the ladies. The inference have drawn from it is that chauvinism is rampant on NL. |

Gosh I need to meet this Gbawe guy. Been a long time I saw a well constructed argument like this without attacking the opponent's personality esp on NL. Dont see anything wrong in what Amosun said. It's better than keeping quiet while workers pour vituperations on him without them not knowing the true state of the state's financial affairs. Infact every evil those PDP govs did should be outlined now so we can all appreciate the devils they are. I'm never a fan of dismissin armed trained men cos these are people who are not trained for anythin else in life apart from carryin arms. So when u dismiss them,what else is left for them than to go into armed robbery. I love the part of the OP post talkin about the chicken starin at him with beautiful eyes. Shuo! Actually that is the precise season i dont eat chicken heads,to avoid the poor thing dead head starin at me. I remember this issue being a source of quarrel btw my mother and i almost every Dec 24 yearly when it's time to kill d Xmas chicken i simply disappear. Generally she buys the day old ones in Jan each yr and mandates me to take care of them d whole yr. So how am i expected to just murder somethin i've been feedin and carin for in 300days+ like that? So i simply disappear and reappear later when stew is ready. |

Of course if GEJ is a smart man he can always recover the money back cos warranty for such things lasts more than a yr. But the ques is what does he even need two 7billion planes for? As someone said it's not even as if there was no previous presidential jet. The way big sums are being mentioned in this country anyone would think the whole citizenship is living in absolute wealth.
