Every now and then I see some people referring to themselves or to others as hardcore gamers and I wonder;who is a hardcore gamer? What is hardcore gaming really about? Does it cut across a certain genre of games or consoles or does it refer to the amount of time spent on a game. Can a guy who spends an insane amount of time playing Mario Kart on his Wii be referred to as a hardcore gamer? Or is the term just for those who prefer realistic shoot-em-ups, you know, blood, gore and violence?

How do you identify a hardcore gamer and what games are hardcore?

If we're talking about corruption and inefficiency in the public service, how is that worse under GEJ than under OBJ and the other oafish despots before him? Is there any clear sign that Jonathan's administration is more corrupt or 'clueless' than Obasanjo's, Yar' Adua's or even Shagari's? Or are we going to condemn Jonathan simply because of Boko Haram? If so, why didn't OBJ eradicate Niger Delta militancy and kidnapping during his tenure? Let's not keep deceiving ourselves.

Well GEJ's presidency may not be 'more' corrupt than that of Yar'Adua or OBJ's but things have certainly not improved in terms of corruption. It's still business as usual.

Lets stop deceiving ourselves.

It has been my custom to play any of my game at the hardest mode to get some goodies for the next replay and play it twice more but for the COD Modern Warfare the episode - hornet nest, it was something else that after I finished the whole game with serious headache each time I embark on it, I don't pray to replay it again instantly but wait for many months.hs.

I see, but I can't stand playing a game I have already finished if there are no new surprises that await me. That's why I said MGS4 has a low replay value. Other than say a new camo or a new weapon there's nothing to experience. Now compare that to COD which I mentioned earlier and you'll see it has new maps, new modes and new challenges that can still be played over and over and over and over. . . you get my point right?

BTW who still plays MGS4 in 2011? cheesy

That game was great and all but its so ancient now. Folks had better catch up with the times. grin

Downloaded Hard Reset & Homefront. . .installed both successfully & when i tried to play them, i got an error saying Steam is required to play em'. . .as in, WTH?!! . . AppId is bla bla

So i download steam and install. . same thing!!!

Steam isn't freeware. You've gotta pay to play man.
