Politics › Re: About 20 Armed Robbers Robbed 2 Banks In Ilesha by Bawss1(m): 5:12pm On Sep 28, 2011
Jakumo:
Akere please mind your language. What you witnessed was not an "armed robbery", but an Asset Re-Allocation Exercise, and those 20 gentlemen in 3-piece business suits who liberally sprayed the premises with rifle rounds are more appropriately referred to as a "Delegation of Financial Consultants", charged with providing the "enabling environment" for the bank manager to quickly open up the strong room, in order to facilitate that high-priority transaction with appropriate dispatch.

Anyone who died during that cash withdrawal protocol can be said to have been "permitted to meet their ancestors", somewhat ahead of the normal schedule for such journeys.

This is what we get when we negotiate with terrorists. The government has done it before (Amnesty for MEND) so the reasoning is that they can do it again.

Maximip:
But don't you think reading it first before watching the movie takes away some kind of excitement when watching it.
well, you can't be bothered much then if you're not interested in the story. I guess I like surprises.

I stay away from the reviews. I just look at the score on IMDB and rottentomatoes
anything above 7.0 or 80% is most likely a good movie, provided I like the genre of the movie.
Goodness, that's also my MO. Just get the ratings or score and I'm off - as long as its my type of genre. If I get to know too much about the movie before I see it then I most likely won't even see. That's the same reason I hardly re-watch movies unless it was a really great one. Surprises surprises surprises
TV/Movies › Re: Naruto Information by Bawss1(m): 3:25pm On Sep 26, 2011
Maybe its because v3 sees Sasuke's good looks to be somewhat effeminate. I know Sasuke is emotionally challenged though, he can't express any real emotion (other than anger) and he is always striving for the detached and cool veneer. Na fine boy go kill am. Kishimoto should do something about Sasuke's repressed sexuality to kill off all this gayish suggestions. Sasuke needs a girl in his life, he has enough girls infatuated with him already. Maybe be should start something with Karin. grin

blacksta:
True -

but from my own understanding  - it has always been like this as far i can remember  - During raining season  - cause of full dams -. Electricity generation always increases.   A better confirmation will be when rain stops falling
I had also thought that was the case; rainy season - better power supply, but since the rains started this year power supply to my area has fallen. Well its all robbing Peter to pay Paul. Them no dey try again.  angry

But where I live in Abuja, it is the opposite of what you have written.
Well I dunno why they appear to have singled out my hood. Time was when I thought I had forgotten how to work my generator because it had lain idle for so long but thats no longer the case. The Nepa guys who control these things will be flogged if I had the means. . .True, I know a few districts receive rather regular power supply, the likes of Asokoro,  Maitama and parts of Wuse, but that had always been the case. I don't think that is much of an improvement though.

Which Nepa? My estate in Jabi used to receive much better power supply from Nepa till about the second quarter of this year. If anything now, I think they have worsened.

abeg - NAME THE FOUR AIRPORTS.

i know for certain it cannot be abuja ,  mma 1 or mma 2 .

we can't trust anything from these liars anymore.

see what i mean? are we to assume contracts have already been awarded and that an entire OPERATIONAL airport terminal can be given a facelift in four weeks? name them na.

the hint at boko haram is also dubious. when the budget was drafted, boko haram was not a national  issue. so these claims about 'addressing security concerns ' . .
Erm I think the Abuja Airport is fenced and the Port Harcourt one too. I'm saying this based on what I've seen unless I'm mistaken. And I remember "action" was taken to prevent a re-occurrence of the cow invasion at the PH airport a few years ago.

Anyways my observations could have been in error, you can never be sure when it comes to the Nigerian government. smiley
