My brother VIP protection drill is not as u suggested. Kayode Egbetokun is a seasoned Police Officer that has done many protective assignments in his prime as a policeman, he wouldn't direct any officer to stand behind him inside the church. He knows the drills. Perhaps overzealousness on the part of the officers that are seen standing. One Officer can only stand behind him while he's upstanding too, probably to make a speech. You don't draw too much attention to ur principal while protecting him

It's not overzealousness. I already pointed out the likely possibility in that scenario. I have watched videos of different RCCG Holyghost meetings and no security guy ever stands up during the course of the meeting unless when necessary.....so the thread was actually not needed. It didn't capture the whole scenario. You can only conclude when you watch the whole service. If you do, you discover it was offering time seeing the envelope the IGP and his wife held

Two wrong things in the scenario...
1. Being a church service, the orderly should have been on plain clothes.
2. The orderly should have sat down especially as his principal is seated already. It's the posture that generates attention.

1. The policeman is at work. His work time is determined by his boss, the I.G

2. If you look closely, there are at least two other folks standing in that picture. He would eventually sit. I can look for the video of the service and share with you to confirm. The guy would eventually seat. Seems they were about to take offering and he had to stand up before his boss who would eventually stand as well.

Even Adebiye, Oyedepo and other pastorprenure usually have their security men around them in their churches. Thus can simply be described as fallacy of fake heaven God being marketed to the gullible faith-fools OR the god of the king James and other versions as written by men is VERY POWERLESS in reality but vey powerful on the pages of the Bible only

I have a question for you: why do you think pastors use security?

Dude... it's alarming when we start following the numbers...i.e. that's why they don't want Nigeria, Niger, Mali or any African country to progress
... the very second Africa becomes a self sustaining country, the western world economy will collapse like a pack of cards.
You know how many billions leave Nigeria every day to western world?... you go cry blood when you know.

Last teaser, almost all, key word is almost... almost all the moslney politicians steal are in western banks....the money our politicians have in Nigeria gerian banks is like pocket money for beer parlour chilling out...now imagine a Nigerian president that want to stop the looting come into power?... he will be labeled non democratic or rigged election if he wins, they will put sanctions left right and center to ruin the country, why?... because the western world is guaranteed billions every day if Nigeria remains ruined.

The rule of thumb is any black African government the west support is because they control that country economy ansld the president of that country is considered the ambassador of the west to that country.

Honestly, you are right. Keep them poor to remain afloat on the other side.

The capital flight that still goes out for things like Importation, Education and many others is alarming. It will take a collection of African nations to unite to override the negative influence

I like your reasonable question and thinking, I wish all Nigerians that like you... we will make progress as a country.

Back to topic now...according to the article below (see url link) 132000 UK visa was approved in Nigeria in the first half of 2023... the question though is how many applicants was rejected,?... the UK people keep that information secret, but why?

What's the rejection to approval UK visa ratio?.... I have personally applied for a visa and I have seen and heard real stories at embassies, based on that i would assume 9:1 is the ratio.... in other words approximately 900000 was rejected and each paid £250...now do the math.... remember there is a reason why no Nigerian passport booklet is available constantly.

Also, remember another hidden fact is the 132000 number is only for net new applicants....those that are renewing the expired 6 months or multiple visa are not included in this number, and if you include renewals then I'll let you guess the number as your homework.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/619375-uk-granted-132000-visas-to-nigerians-in-first-half-2023-envoy.html

Anyway and to summarize, my numbers are conservative and the insulting part is nigerians are suffering in masses in the Uk.

Oh my God!

See money....Ahhh this money going out is too much jeez....if we go by this analysis you gave, only visa fees would contribute up to minimum-half a billion pounds in this year alone....ahhhh

First Nigerians in the UK are suffering and if you ask them why? Them go tell you say there is nothing in the UK and na shame dey stop them from going back to Nigeria.

Secondly this is a money making scheme for the British government... dem know say 99.9% of applicant dem no go give visa, and if it's 1 million people that applies for UK visa in a year, that's £250,000,000 million or quarter of a billion pounds then go make from Nigerians in Enugu alone.... that's good business.

With £25000000 and a good government in the state Enugu can become Dubai in 10 years...

1million Nigerians applying for U.K visa in a year is too high. That's extremely high. Countries many nau...

You can't achieve "simple" and "comprehensive" as a grammatical endpoint, under any guise. Comprehensive is a contradictory concept to simplicity.

So it's confusing how you expect the young man to achieve comprehensive writeups while still keeping it simple.

On a surface level, the definition of 'simple' and 'comprehensive' is contrary.

However, for example, can there a simple and comprehensive material? Yes.

What this means is: The subject matter being discussed in the material has been made simple( for UNDERSTANDING) due to a DETAILED and ORGANISED breakdown of concepts in an orderly way.

"Staffs" is a valid plural for "Staff". A writer or speaker is allowed to use either of both in discretionary circumstances.

In this case, he was referring to a single organisation.

If the staffs would be valid, he would be referring to the staff of two different organisation.

Staff is already a collective noun in the context of referring to members of an organisation.

Thank you. This is what they don't understand and that is one core problem with Nigerians.

I know some abroad now, they are tired, it didn't work but can't come back becus of shame.
They got to abroad becus of the type of pictures Nigerians paint for them here that once they get abroad, they have made it in life.
One specifically has achieved nothing. Working life a machine and full of regrets. His story if like that for a lot of them too but he refused to return becus he would feel like a failure.
That is why many of them still go into fraud , drugs, human trafficking etc.
Omo, Nigerians with their wack mentality shaa.
If that wahala didn't burst out in Saudi the otter time, we wouldnt have known that there were many, many Nigerians who wanted to return home but no flight money.

Family / Mental Preparation For Ladies Going Into Marriage. by BennyDGreat: 11:10pm On Sep 09, 2023
By Ebenezer Mabinuola

Every week, someone around the world gets married. Same week, someone around the world gets a divorce or become separated.
It has become imperative for both male and female to prepare well for marriage.

However, this write-up will focus on mental preparation for ladies. I will attempt to do for the men in another write up.

1. Prepare for rough times- During the wedding ceremony, it's all glam and Glitz. There's so much happiness and laughter in the air.

However, life in marriage isn't always rosy.
There will be rough times. Sometimes very rough you may want to run away.

Times when the husband's income experiences a setback, time of sickness, times of disagreement and conflict can be termed rough seasons.
What helps the woman stay strong is how much mental strength she has developed.

2. Prepare for child bearing- Child bearing can be very stressful. From the time of conception up until child birth, you will experience all sorts of body changes. Some women, not preparing for these sudden changes could break down mentally and begin to behave irrationally.

3. Prepare for child nursing and home grooming- Ladies must be prepared for life of taking care of themselves after child bearing and taking care of kids.
Hormonal changes, post-partum depression and aging are real life experiences.

For the kids, prepare for cleaning them up when they poo or pee, prepare for cleaning up vomits, prepare to stay up to monitor them when sick, be ready to cope with them scattering the house amongst many other things.
If you are not mentally prepared for this as a lady, you will be thrown into a state of imbalance and it would show through stress and aging.
No matter the help you get, you must be able to attend to the basic needs of the kids and yourself as well.

4. Prepare for work and discipline- To stay strong as lady with kids, it takes a lot of work and discipline.

You must make effort to strike a balance between the home and your work(career or business) if you have one.

You must develop the discipline to raise kids to be serious with what matters per time without being emotional about it. Train them do their home work as at when due, assist at home, wake up early etc

5. Prepare for resource management- As a lady, if you don't prepare to manage resources and deploy home economics to the home, you will have a lot of challenges.

This is because at many times, there would be cases of insufficiency within the home and this may not necessarily be due to funds.

It could be the timing of the need, more people visiting the home than expected etc...which calls for a need for quick improvisation.

WHEN you and those who "blindly" japa - return in 10- 20 years from now, you will hardly recognize your country as it will be

RECOLONIZED by new "economic" - IMPERIALISTs - whom you japa-ed and left the country for. INSTEAD of you to make money in

Land of your birth - you are joining those heading for "modern slavery and racist subjugation" all in the name of "I live abroad" - hmmm angry

I have lived almost 30 years in America - IF I am in your position right now 30 years ago, with what you earn, and knowing what I know

Im working with a US company that is so eager in taking teens away from the street of America. I couldnt imagine the number of wasted teens and how it is a big issue. Baba, who no get sense no get sense.
Some of u just paint it like people pick money abroad, like people just wake up and see money.
If the opportunities are there as u paint it, there won't be a single struggling person abroad.

My last vacation, I was in the most of over 20 Americans. They are just regular average people financial wise. I even have dolls pass them and they complain so much about almost eveurthing with life and money

Many people don't understand one thing: Results and outcomes in life is MORE about the quality of decisions than location. As much as location determines a lot of things, YOUR DECISIONS ARE TOO POWERFUL and can even override disadvantages in your location

I was rather disappointed reading your write up because it's one of the worst cases of projection I have read about in a while.

You are earning seven figures and have no dependants and you are comparing yourself to those earning seven or six figures but have 3 kids to cater for.

If you were paying out N2-3m every term for school fees and it's ancillaries, coupled with regular contributions to parents and relatives, I'm sure you wouldn't be asking us such a question.

The people that earn 7 figures in Nigeria and live in highbrow areas don't send their kids to cheap schools.

But it's your complete inability to see beyond your own nose that's saddening.

In UK, US and Canada, parents pay next to nothing for school fees unless they chose to- by sending their kids to certain types of schools.

Having a second passport from some selected countries is worth much more than staying here and earning N5m a month, especially when you have dependents.

It's an unquantifiable advantage.

That you boil down Japa to just a money led goal tells me you have a rather narrow view of life.

Well...there are still a lot of things to consider within the mix of all these....

Having a second passport may be good but having kids raised in environment that gives you a peace of mind in old age is more important. Hence, not all places can be Japa'd too considering the average character of kids brought up in that region.

Two is how about people whose companies pay part of the kids fees or pay all....cos such people do exist. Do you think these folks would Japa like others would?

These two are just some of the areas I can think of for now....

Average salary of software engineer in UK is £68,314 (google)
Tax 40% of 68,314 is 27,325.6
So, 68,314 - 27,325.6 = 40,988.4
Rent for a single person plus bills plus feeding ~ 1000/month
Therefore, for 12 months, it will be = 12,000

So, 40,988.4 - 12,000 = £28, 988.4

If £1 ~ #1,085

Then £28,988.4 ~ = #31,452,414

1 year savings = #31,452,414

So, to save #100,000 000, it will take you #100,000,000/#31,452,414
= 3.18 years
= 3 years 2 months approximately.

Anybody that works with this will be considered very stingy oh especially if he has folks back home

Career / 7 Ways To Break Into Wealthy Circles by BennyDGreat: 10:18pm On Sep 07, 2023
By Ebenezer Mabinuola
Breaking into wealthy circles requires strategic actions. It won't come easy but trust me, it's worth it. Here are 7 ways to break into wealthy circles and change the trajectory of your generation forever.

1. Change your mindset - Wealth first begins in the mind. Train your mind to become bold. It will reflect in your walking posture and what comes out of your mouth.

2. Be valuable- An easy way to be noticed is to be a person of value. In whatever field you are, stand out, have a touch of excellence and the wealthy will come for you. Solve problems and Never stop learning.

3. Be visible- A good product without good advert will record lower sales than an average product with solid sales strategy. If you have solid value, become known. Don't hide. Push what you have out there.

4. Network Smartly- Networking with rich folks within professional bodies can be sometimes tricky.

Due to the number of people wanting to network with them within the professional network, you could consider exploring other less populated areas like churches, mosques, golf club, favourite travel locations...etc where these folks have less people trying to meet them.

5. Appear smart always- The first thing people see is how you look even before you speak.

As such, to effectively break into wealthy circles, learn to dress well. You don't need to break the bank. Just appear very neat and clean.

6. Pay for access- Sometimes, paying for access into wealthy circles may not be as expensive as you think. Some wealthy folks sell books, courses, run charity organizations etc...be a part of whatever they do and engage.

7. Play long-term: Many people when trying to break into wealthy circles make the mistake of wanting immediate response to their actions.

You may need to hang around for as long as 2-3 years or longer before you break into certain wealthy circles. They need to assess you and trust your person before granting entrance.

Unfortunately, many people lack the patience and character when put under assessment. Hence, they are unable to break into the circle.
