Women are in all shades of character. Even though, courtship is important before marriage but it doesn't just do it all. My wife and I courted for almost 2years before marriage but after we got married, it was as if we never knew each at all before then.
Fighting, shouting, bickering, complaints and more complaints and more shouting. We are both quick to temper and I think I am worse but I lover her very much, she is self sacrificing. I respect her for that, she shares though with caution

My mother in-law stays with us since the beginning of our marriage and no issues but the kind of respect the my mother would command in my house might not make things so easy compared to her mother. So, I don't really know what it's going to feel like if my mother decides to live with me permanently, honestly, I have my fears. Women are not so tolerant and there is always this contentious feeling between both parties over who has more control of the man - this is the bane of the problem.
Women are not so tolerant, that's why men are more forgiving, tolerant and patient (not stupid).
So in the light of this, even though, we all feel vengeful about your wife, I would advise you listen and follow your heart and strength as the Lord has blessed you with.

@Op, I think your fiancee is just concerned about the future. The fact that you are still in uni. I had similar experience during nysc and I can tell you that the worry is about security, most especially financial security.
Just keep talking to her, keep re-assuring her that everything is going to be okay. You can tell her how you have planned for the future ahead. How you will finish very well in the Uni, serve your father's land, get a good job/business or other plans.
Pray with her too, if she is the praying type and finally, know what you are doing as a man. Be yourself, be in control, don't let anyone push you too hard, be confident and hope for the best. With time everything will sort itself out. You will all be fine.
