MrMacinterchi1: Actually, Joseph avoided fornication because he's not married. It's adultery on the part of Potiphar's wife because she's married. It's two different things..
Had it been that Joseph was married at the time of the temptation, then, it will be correct to say that he avoided adultery; but, since he's not married then , fornication was what he ran away from.
Hence, Single engages fornication while married engages in adultery. na so e be.
other things u say no concern me Sha.
you don't have to be married just to be with a partner as long as your hearts are sincere to each other and ur hurting no one. portiphers wife would have done adultery with Joseph as she was married. there's nothing like "fornicate" it's a scary word designed to prevent people from being human beings.... |

Cos he didn’t fornicate Christianity takes natural behavior found in all mammals and calls it "fornicate", "sexual immorality", "commit", "convict", "lust", "sin" etc. it's stupid. with this said stuff like sleeping with married people and prostitutes are sinful. |

Cos he didn’t fornicate Christians are the among the most stupid set of people on earth. Half of you are brainless. Do you know the difference between fornication and adultery? what Joseph avoided was adultery. As for "fornicate" there's nothing like "fornication". when two willing parties are attracted to each other they mate. now if we gonna be thrown into hell for that then we know we went to hell for acting out how we were made. The so called marriage these days is with unattractive old women..... so Christianity doesn't want you to hv an attractive woman. most ppl these days marry wen they old and u won't even enjoy the fukk then to ex oloshos now wives. think with ur head! |

yinkaOdutuyo: Pls I need your advice on this.
Since have being dating my fiancee going to 3 years now, I have being doing almost all her parent responsibilities.
I was the one that sent her to school -ND1 and ND2, I paid all the semesters school fees.
I also paid her 2 years rent, when she was in the school. All her handouts and school bills were paid by me. Even till feeding.
Her parent are just to poor, that they can't even provide what they'll eat for themselves.
I did almost everything within my power to provide for her and help her parent atimes with some little I can afford.
Now she's done with her ND programme, am planing to enrol her for a professional Catering Job, which is amount to almost 250k.
At times she come to my place and spent like 2weeks, 3 weeks or even 1 week with me.
So of a recent her mom asked her to come home and spend some days with them.
She now called and ask me for feeding money, but I was angry and I asked her, Can't your parent provide basic needs? Like feeding, clothes etc. You'll be in my house I'll provide what you'll eat and when you're in your parent too, I'll still be the one to provide what you'll eat. Didn't your dad go out every morning to go and work?
I just told her, that if her parent can't provide basic needs, I don't think is proper.
And again she's the type that want to wear what other ladies are wearing and want to up to standard.
And I didn't send any money to her.
I just want to know if am wrong for asking her that. because her dad is alive and mom is healthy, but they're always broke and no money, that they hardly feed 3 square meals. and one day she will leave you for another man without blinking an eye lid.... harden your heart bro b4 it's too late. |

We agree he can still get nice young girls - but its late to start fathering a child. girls hv a dual strategy - fukk around wen young and marry rich man when old.... so guys should consider a dual strategy too - marry the old girls then have flings with the young girls at the same time. this is where girls then come up with their selfish concepts of "cheating" and "jealousy"; as if they were building with me when i was building. When i have moni, il be free to be with any girl I want even if its not the wife.... |

JovialJune: How is it that you take pride in being dull? if you allowed your brain to think, you and others that has been yapping about on this thread will understand what Op means, which is that fathering children at old age is a bad idea, he gave example of having a first born at age 60, how will an old man be able to instill parental fatherly duties and responsibilites for the child and the little ones that follow? Instead you all are yapping about fathering a child at age 80, 90 like educated illiterates, imagine having a five year old or 10 year old at age 90, when you die, who will be the father figure in his or her life? Who will take care of the child? The mother right? Fuuls. don't mind them... these guys can generate excuses and defend nonsense for Africa. and often talk as if men are immortal lolz. where men have the clear upper hand is in flings.... even a 55 year old man can pull a young girl for a fling not marriage. |

instead, you are doing like Nigerian police that will arrest a dog then force It as an evidence that it’s a lion.. I already looked at the article. "Researchers found it takes up to five times as long for a man over 45 to get a woman pregnant than if he was under 25." That's cos he is already past 40. And those signs point to what I wrote on this thread so my write up is in agreement with the article. I repeat, men can impregnate a girl at 45 or 50.... but thats not the biological clock I speak about. The biological clock for men IS THAT THERE IS A TINE LIMIT FOR FATHERING CHILDREN. |

After enjoying other people's husband while still young, she however forgot that nemesis that never forgets. She is married now and expects the husband not to cheat especially when she looks this tattered and dirty
All I'm saying is that girls who cheated a lot before getting married are the ones who can do such damage to a fellow lady who comes close to their husbands because they know better that all men are cheats the 32 year old woman is naive to believe she can compete with a 23 year old girl... thats why girls should get married on time and maintain their appearance for their husband.... |

Many men on this forum threaten females with "biological clock" and sometimes this is unfair.... so the purpose of this thread is to describe/ explain men's biological clock too. The last age for a man to get married on time is 40-42... anything later than that, you will be too old when your children are growing up.
Say you get married at 40 and first child comes at 42, when you are 60 is when your first child is 18! Not ideal.... so there you have it....men have biological clock too not just women.... |

Preetti: Mrbenjame interesting thread. Well as for me, the families and friends I know who travelled abroad with their spouses are fine till today. Everyone would always have diverse opinions based on their own experiences.
PS: Back when I was new to naira land and didn't know better, I used to reply nairaland mails. I got mails from married Nigerian men living abroad requesting for a relationship, phone intimacy or something perverse. And they always say "I'm married" or "I'm almost separated from my wife" (which anyone can tell is a lie) One even said his wife was working at the hospital and that she's a strong woman and all. If she's that good a person why the heck are you then chatting up a random person on the internet asking for a relationship. Now these are the sort of men that are unapologetically cheating on their wives for no reason, but if you judge by their nairaland comments you would think they are responsible, well behaved men. Op this is is to tell you that sometimes women are not the problem so if you choose to make your life decisions based on some comments from some hypocritical people here then you might regret it cause they aren't practising what they preach. Last last do what you think is right for you . there is nothing like "cheating". I made it clear to my wife that im still available to other women and she too is available to other men.... its only "cheating" when you both promise yourselves monogamy.... |

JovialJune: So in your head,, all marriages abroad dont last?
The ones that lasted without dominance, how did they make that happen? Doesnt it show that they both put in the effort and see themselves as equal without the usual b.s shenanigans of dominance/submissiveness you guys blab about here?
My mum's elder brother lives in L.A, he brought his wife to join him there, sponsored his wife to nursing school and shes a highly paid nurse today, he is close to 70 now and not doing anything anymore while the wife works and pays the bill, how come we've never for once heard of any fracas from them? How come the wife didn't divorce him cos she earns more? If my uncle wasn't good, nice, respectful and a responsible man, wouldn't she have divorced him since? How come she stayed with him up till now?
You guys keep putting the blame on the wives when the man also contributed to whatever attitude he gets, you want a wife that will lick your ass same way it was in naija coupled with stupid egositic attitude or worse cheating, then expect her to smile and pray you'd get your senses back all in the name of endurance? naaa it doesnt work that way, you have other options, marry other abroad based ladies and gladly wash plates and cook for her without complaints simple
Me thinks you guys just hate the fact that Nigerian women exercise their right over there at the expense of you men and your ego/dominance so y'all are bitter/envious about it, if the abroad system was like ours, y'all will have no problem wives with you since it favours you all to a 't', that's why y'all keep wailing and wailing about it, keep wailing. ... |

pocohantas: What is wrong in cooking for your family? Forgive me, I find arguments like this mundane and irrelevant. Sadly it is what has become the order of the day when marriage is discussed. It shows there is something wrong with us as a people. Both male and female.
You were cooking in Nigeria, suddenly cooking is below you because you are abroad? There are bound to be issues.
Ordinarily, both parties should be helping each other. Domestically and financially, but when one person thinks chores are below him or assisting financially would make her a mumu, wahala done dey. Nigerians play too many mind games and relationships with them wears someone like me out.
You might not cook 7 days a week, but I believe a good husband, be it in Nigeria or Cambodia, should know when his wife has done her best and deserves some rest. On such days she should get her rest.
If her husband is not dicking her and he is making no effort to improve, she can leave the marriage with her dignity and value intact.
No adult abroad has time to even sit and eat three times a day. There are more pressing issues and Nigerian men and women should begin to upgrade their OS. We are too backward in our issues. pocahontas I told my female friends this: when I was a bachelor, I cook, clean my entire house as well as work all by myself....without a wife....and after I married I continued to do all of them by myself because I'm already used to it.... |
