So I'm 21 and I finished secondary school at age 17 (2015) and to be honest I just got admission this year to study pharmacy while my mates are in their final year and it hurts alot because my mum keeps telling me that my cousin is in final year and is about serving next year and I'm just gaining admission to a university, she even uses her friend's child as an example and it made me go into a Little depression, I actually felt sad because for the first time a comparison actually hit me...
She claims they (my parents)are supposed to be resting and not paying school fee. That I'm stressing them and ever since I was a teenager I always vowed that I wanted to leave my father house before 25yrs of age
Now I'm studying a 5 years course (7 years to become a full graduate) and by then I'll be 28 I actually feel ashamed because this isn't what I wanted since I left secondary school I wanted to finish on time and remove the burden from them
I've never failed jamb, my least Score was 245 but circumstances kept dragging me back
I finished my ND program in 2017 (Distinction in SLT Yabatech)
So it feels more like I'm parambulating up and down and don't know what I want for my self but I actually do!!
I need an advice or something to make me feel better or confident about my self
Eeya, i feel your pains brova but lemme help u a bit.
It doesn't matter whatever anyone says to you; what matters in life is what you to yourself and that is capable of affecting your destiny.
So, if u want peace of mind, just ignore them.
Let them rant and rave and say whatever they like; u just focus on achieving your goals in life.
On the other hand, why not acquire a skill that takes a short while to learn and start making money for yourself?
It doesn't stop your schooling. I mean something like photography etc that requires low capital start up and learning curve.
Once u are not overly dependent on your parents for even socks N100, they will start taking you serious.
My dad too didn't want me to leave my aunts house when i was 24. I ignored him and moved out when i had the skills to make small money to support myself. He will call me 5am in the morning and say all sorts of things but i will simply thank him and just do my stuffs.
Years later, he told me he was happy i moved out back then.
So, do your thing man! And don't let anyone make u feel sad or depressed!

Well, since you were not really explicit on what you meant by "not being loved" and "coupled with some other marriage issues", i'll talk generally.
1. Every marriage will go through its own "fire" during the first 0 to 10 years duration. Your maturity etc will get you guys through it.
2. Secondly, are you and your bobo "friends"? As in are u guys "paddy"?
If not, develop the friendship as you learn to love and also discover each other.
For instance, my wife is my paddy and gistmate.
We do have our moments when we quarrel but we ensure we resolve it before going to bed.

Anyone who has your atm card can, and i repeat can buy things online without the needing your password or pin sef.
Bank will debit u in micro-seconds.
But this is applicable to Master cards (Naira or dollar) or Visa cards.
Now, lemme give u an example.
I have a naira master card and i do buy a particular service every month which is $10 and i've been doing that for over 1 year.
The only thing needed are the name(s) on the card, address and the nos on the front and back side.
Once i enter those, they debit me and listen: They will not send OTP or ask for token or password or pin or anything.
You shall be debited directly if you lose your atm card (master/visa) so keep it safe and if its lost, block it immediately!

Somethings been eating me up. I had sex with my boyfriend some weeks later i started falling so sick I will try to point out all I can remember *Came down with what I felt was fever was burning hot so hot you just need to come close to feel the heat
*at night I sweat. Not just the usual sweat but one I have to change my clothes two times a nigbt(this happened for like a week)
* I started feeling so cold especially in the morning. Doctor said it was pneumonia + a cough that lasted for three weeks plus.
*and the rashes I ve never have in my whole life spreaded all over my arms and back as well as my breast region.
* I also had serious muscle ache. Serious that my mom had to help me massage it. My neck did hurt too it felt like someone hit me with a blank on my neck
* nodes on my neck, groin, as well as ear. * I started having blurred vision and sores on my lips like fever blisters
* and then injuries in my mouth, weird ones * I have oral trush at least thats what I thought them to be. White tongue I have had this before but this onr is different. With slimy white things in my mouth every time
*I also experienced dehydration and dry mouth. * also had a delayed flow
The symptoms are so much I can't even mention it all. Most of these lasted for about a month +. I still have cold till this day. I shiver most times and its my major fear. And the rashes are still there.
This Is the major problem. The nurse who was handling me said it might be an STD maybe HIV I took plethora of test including HIV after 3 months all came back negative, I was told to wait 6montgs to check for HIv again it was still negativr. During this month I have seen so many doctors, private and government all they do is givr me drugs but I still experience the pneumonia cold( no cough) and occasional mouth sores as well as the rash. My boyfriend now my ex took HIV too it was negative. Please doctors in the house what can this be. I have read so many threads here on naira land of people who had same experience but some later turned + they might be lying though.
I heard after 6 months and test is still negative then its not it. My question now is. What is wrong with me. I have spent so much on drugs and test. And no doctor is able to say what my problem is. Its making me crazy as I am even scared to shower because of the cold and I can't let people see my body due to rash.
I need help.
Thank God the tests shows negative for hiv/hepatitis, etc.
But its most likely to be staphylococcus.

I have basically been a hardworking person right from school, working hard to ensure my parents are proud and giving my best in any way I can. Unfortunately it seems like I am not destined for the great future I have always dreamt about.
I noticed early this year that I have a condition that makes me impotent. I can get erections while laying down but lose it while standing/sitting (I wouldn't mind if it will always remain this way but I hear it only gets worse) I visited several specialist doctors and it appears they barely understand this condition and end up saying it is psychological.
I have done my research for a long time now from global writings and forum and discovered I have a venous leak: this is a condition where the veins in the male genital drains blood faster than the inflow of blood through the arteries making normal erection impossible. This may be caused by an accident/damage to the veins.
There have been times where I have had traumas to my genital but I never thought this will be an issue and didn't even notice this condition because I haven't been sexually active.
Now from my research there is no cure to this condition and it only gets worse (meaning even erection when laying down may go eventually).
I have been depressed and sucidal; I feel like there's no point to my life if I can have such a damaging condition. Not being able to have sex isn't the problem, however the pyschological trauma this gives me about my future is the problem. I am still very young!! Will I ever get a wife? The thought of not being normal kills me!
I wonder what I did to deserve this, I am sad, depressed and sucidal. Why does God allow bad things happen to people? I feel I am running mad because I cannot stop thinking about this. I just want to sleep and not wake up, or discover this is a dream if I do. Cc: dominique could you move this to.

You really don't need to migrate to lagos.
You can get programming videos (depending on what aspect of programming u wish to learn) and learn at your own pace.
But this option might not work for u if you are not disciplined.
And its far cheaper to learn at home/on your own than migrating to lagos.
The only thing you need is high speed (4G LTE) access to the internet

A month ago, I suddenly started feeling pain in my chest and dizzy eyes and numb palms and feet, I thought it was shortness of blood because I have been stressed for the past 6 months waking up out of bed getting into traffic to work and coming back in traffic late at night.
The chest pain feeling like my heart skipping a beat still didn’t go away, i couldn’t get a sound sleep every morning I wake up unrefreshed and tired through out the day
I checked my blood pressure one day at the pharmacy and it was abnormally high and I’m just 26 I went to the doctor and conducted PCV to check my blood count, malaria test and fasting sugar, all came out normal, he suspected angina so I also did an ECG which also came out normal, the doctor gave me paracetamol, vitamin B12 capsule and since then that is how I have been frequenting the hospital, each time the blood pressure still high.
Last week I was still at the doctor last Thursday and my BP was 148/96 at my age, yet the doctor doesn’t really tell me much he just keep prescribing the same sleeping pills and vitamin B12 and iron capsule.
Right now I presently can’t help myself to sleep, my day is always filled with fatigue, headache, dullness, I lose concentration at work, I can’t seem to get anything done because my eyes get heavy and my head be pounding me seriously. I don’t know what is going on I’m gradually losing the sharp young man I used to be.
Please, I don’t know if anybody has gone through a phase like this or if we have experienced doctors in the house please.

Drugs might not likely work on your not being able to sleep... u really need to slow down cos at your age, you shouldn't be having such blood pressure spikes and the dangerous aspect of it is this (according to some docs i spoke with):
Whenever the blood pressure is high, if such a person accidentally or mistakenly hit their foot against any obstacle, "jagun lo niyen o", meaning, the fellow might likely die.

Try this simple stuff that worked for me back then: its a tea called horlicks. Its about N500 or so.
Drink warm morning and night. U will sleep and almost pee in your bed.
I don't know whatever is inside but it does work for insomnia. And its better than popping valium 5, 10 or 40.
Once u can get a good night sleep, your blood pressure will come down then u may add a lil vacation to the mix. Or better still, resign from your work.

She was actually redeployed from a far north state to abuja with money by her parents. We re both in our mid 20s, We love each other so much and would like to marry asap if money comes. After we graduated from Uniben, she persuaded me to go over with her to abuja and search for greener pasture, i made frantic calls in attempts to secure a place to squat over there but to no avail, I had no relatives there and d few friends I have there aren't that close. I later had to go over to Lagos to hustle because i have a few relatives there. Even while i was in Lagos she was still insisting i come over to abuja, reasons that abuja is a more lucrative city. I truly agree to that fact but i seriously have nobody to squat with and I have nobody at all in abuja, not even been to abuja before. At a time she managed to convince one of her mum's sales boys to take me in in his room but the guy disappointed at the last minute so I had to stay back.
Nysc came, I'm serving in Lagos, she was posted to Kebbi and later redeployed to Abuja. While in camp too, I tried redeploying to abuja on health grounds but I was redeployed bk to Edo state so i had to cancel the application and stay bk. She has been hampering that i redeploy to Abuja but i don't have the 50k fee to pay.
I'm now in Lagos serving in a school, during the holidays i always go out to look for a good job or a good hustle to do. I wasted transport fares and stress attending interviews daily and meeting people but nothing came out yet. Though i did one gig BA job and im yet to get paid. She is still insisting im lazy nd wasting away in Lagos nd i should come over to Abuja. I would like to add that I saw myself thru school with supports from my parents so I'm not lazy. She recently became more persistent about the abuja move and gave me few days to come over or forget about her. She initially proposed to pay 50k for d relocation lobbying but relocation for my batch isn't possible until October ending. She however insist i must be in abuja this Saturday. I have been thinking about this all week, i don't know anybody in abuja, I don't have accommodation there, how do i do my clearance in Lagos if I move, I don't even have money so I will live off her benevolence till I find something doing.
