HMOs are to provide easy accessibility to Health care for their users. Typically, a user will apply to use the closest hospital, pharmacy and diagnostics center for their health care.

Now I wonder why some HMOs ask a user to travel to Diagnostics Center A for over one hour by car at over ₦3000 to get a diagnostic service that can be rendered at Diagnostics Center B at ₦3000 which is 5 minutes walk from the hospital.

I am just very annoyed. My wife in her third trimester is being asked to visit a diagnostic center very far away when she could just do it at a nearby diagnostics center without stress.

Nevertheless, I can't allow my wife go through that stress, I paid; I'm just disappointed in Oceanic HMO.

They are not living up to their expectations jare and its all of them! They seem to be more interested in collecting money and not rendering services.

I wish govt can make nhis voluntary rather than compulsory.

Imagine the new rule now is you must come with picture of you (as the Principal) and your dependants "before" u can be attended to at any healthcare facility.

Normally, in your own case, they were supposed to give u a referal letter to the facility closest to u instead of having u travel several miles.

Bros, prepare to pay money for your wife's delivery if u want the best or else, nhis fit mess up o!

It is inherited from the parents, emphatically the father.
How does Rhesus Factor cause miscarriage?
If a Rh– woman is impregnated by a man with Rh–, there wouldn’t be any problem. However, if a Rh– woman is impregnated by a man with Rh+, there would be a problem if the baby inherits Rh+ from the father . We have here what is medically called Rhesus Factor Incompatibility. The baby would obviously be Rh+. During child birth, once the baby’s Rh+ comes in contact with the woman Rh- during delivery, the antibodies are immediately activated by the woman’s body’s immune system.
The activated antibodies would see the new Rh+ as foreign body or a threat and consequently they would be at alert to attack and get rid of the foreign body. Unfortunately as such, after this particular child birth, the woman would keep having miscarriages because the activated antibodies would see subsequent Rh+ pregnancies as foreign bodies and would keep fighting and taking them off.
Women with Rh activated antibodies are said to be Rh sensitized and once these antibodies are activated , they can never be deactivated until the woman dies. Rh induced antibodies are activated in a Rh- woman by child birth, abortion, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
If a Rh– woman commits an abortion for a Rh+ man and the antibodies are activated in her system, the woman might end up childless throughout her life except if she later marries another man with with the same Rh–. The possibility of a Rh– woman finding a Rh– man is slim as about 85% of human beings are Rh+. This is a warning to our young girls who commits abortions all in the name of boyfriend-girlfriend relationships.
If you’re a woman with Rh– and your fiance is Rh+, and you haven’t committed abortion for him and you don’t want to leave him, then, you need to take note of the following:
In order to prevent the activation of the antibodies, doctors would give women in this category an injection called Rhogam during and after pregnancy to prevent spontaneous abortion due to Rhesus factor incompatibility. The injection is normally administered 28 weeks into pregnancy, 72 hours after delivery, after ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage or abortion. If the injection is not administered and the antibodies are activated, they would never be deactivated again!
In many African cultures up till today, women who are so unfortunate to find themselves having serial spontaneous abortions due to Rhesus factor incompatibility are considered witches by some of their people. Some of the women would accuse their in-laws of being behind their predicament.
So, if you’re a woman with Rh– , you need to be very careful. It might be difficult for you to get a husband with a Rh– because about 85% of human beings are Rh+. So, in order not to find yourself in the aforementioned problem, put all that have been said at the back of your mind and go for genetic counselling. Since when? I've been using it since mid 2018 when i got it unlocked and it has never disappointed.

Once any of the networks mess peren, i insert another sim from another network, with data, and just continue as if nothing had happened.

I got a Redmi Note 7 but it doesn't support Glo 4G. Now thinking of buying a Glo 4g Mifi to augment the deficiency. I am a glo subcriber and the 3G network is bad both at home and office.

Be mindful of the bands supported by the mifi.

Now, there different between 4G and 4G LTE, so buy mifi that supports 4G LTE.

And also, i'll advise u go for airtel mifi (alcatel mw40) which supports almost every band in Nigeria and outside.

I use it personally and it works with mtn, airtel, ntel, etc and its super fast! Just google the name.

Try get the used one for cheap and find a way to unlock it (which is what i did)

I went to YouTube to hear from people who are already using it and what they are saying is,

if you want to download e.g 1GB movie from the Internet on 4G it will take 30-40 minutes but on 5G it will take 5 seconds.

Now the difference here is the timing of the download. On 4G 1gb will be deducted from your plan while on 5G 1GB will be deducted from your plan also.

It's like downloading with 3G and 4G LTE. Same 1GB will be deducted for downloading same file but the difference is the timing. 3G might take 1r 20min to complete while a proper 4G LTE will take 30-40 minutes to complete. But 5G will take 5 seconds.

Yeah except 4G LTE won't use 30-40mins to download 1gb bro! Its usually 5-12mins!

I use a 4G LTE mifi (alcatel mw40) and used it with both airtel 4G and mtn 4G, is super fast!

Thanks for the input bro, the processor speed on the spec of the system was written 1.8GHz to 4GHz so its getting me confused, cos i don't know why the processor speed has to be written in range.

I don't know what you mean by "skin down your windows"

Yeah. The lower no means when the computer processor is idle and there is no demand for power, it stays at 1.8ghz and of course, use less energy which in turn means, longer lasting battery.

And in reverse if for instance u open after effects or some high demanding software to get some stuffs done, the processor senses the need for more power and might run as high as 4ghz (provided your cooling system/environment can allow that without over heating).

They call it turbo-boost or something.

Anyway, skinning down means, removing stuffs u don't need that comes pre-installed with windows. Bloatware or whatever they call it.

I use tuneup 2014 to get all that done and it does it effectively so u have a windows that run only what u want it to run.

One more tip: pls stay away from mcafee antivirus or its other cousins: they hog your processor.

Why not. As long as your windows 10 runs fine and it should.

Just ensure when u are editing, always put your system on high performance mode (battery setting) cos your processor is built to conserve battery (that's why u have the U at the end of your processor specs).

Ram is fine and you have a very good gpu as well!

Eeya, i was equally mad at them before. That night plan thing can kill if one gets up every night cos of cheap internet.

They've replaced the night thingy with a Binge plan and i think its pretty fair. Atleast, I can use it anytime of the day until 1159pm of that day i suscribed for it.

U get 1gb for N350 and 2gb for N500.

I've suggested to them via twitter to work on 3gb for N600.

I hope its implemented.

So I'm going to be 24 by July. Immediately after my secondary education, just before i got into the university, I mounted pressure on him to send me to a driving school (he was reluctant about this and I didn't have money to sponsor myself) that was in 2012 can you imagine that it has been 7 years!!! After driving school, he kept on giving excuses concerning getting a drivers license. Kept on postponing the application, he would say things like "when you come back for the next holiday bla bla bla". All this while I was getting frustrated because the driving skills I acquired in driving school were disappearing already. Finally, I managed to apply and get the temporary license (2 years validity) in February this year, hoping that things would change but can you imagine that the license has expired without me using it for one day. It's only on very rare occasions on our way back from somewhere that he would park the car very close to our house gate on our street and ask me to drive the car to the compound (this is usually a straight road without bends and this usually occurs when we have a heated argument on the issue). I just finished service and by God's grace will soon leave the house to go and hustle as a man but I don't have quality driving experience on the road and this makes me feel bad. My dad is 62 and sometimes his friends would stylishly ask me " o boy don't you know how to drive? Look at how your father is stressing himself on the wheels while you balance at the passenger seat". I usually find this very embarrassing.
Am I the only one experiencing something like this?

Just relax bro! And get something doing to gather money and get a small clean and neat car for yourself. Just be cruising it quietly and please don't tell your dad when u want to buy it except if you are still staying under his roof which i won't advise.

Nairalanders I need help, my brother in-law(my wife's Eldest bro, older than me too) is getting married and I was levied to pay a certain amount as support for his wedding because he had spent most of his funds for planning and the bride’s family had various outrageous demands he had to meet. The issues is I have several commitments like, I have my parents and siblings to take care of, coupled with the fact that my son will be starting school this month (which I postponed because of low funds) and my wife just graduated from the university(yet to go on NYSC and has no job, I foot all the bills in the house and all her expenses) I am about to tell my in-laws that I don’t have the said amount to give (I was levied #40,000) I want to give them (#10,000). And this will further inconvenience myself and my small nuclear family. What should I do? I need your advices

Send them the 10k and politely let them know that you wish to do more (even though i won't advise you to na) but due to family commitments here and there, you can't afford more than that 10k.

And let them know that infact its part of your kids' school fees which wasn't complete in the first place but you will have to refund and also complete before they resume.

Hope you get my point? I am also married and i don't take such bullshits!

I'm not sure but if you are not using 4G sim, u are missing on the speed.

Its better to get a 4G sim and a wireless 4G LTE mifi. I use that of airtel (alcatel mw40)

I've been using the binge for days! But beware, its validity is 1159pm of that day u subscribed but with a grace period of the next day.

Recharge another binge and it gets added up and u can use!
