Some of these role he's chairing ought to be the VP Osinbajo doing them. princdebola201: have u seen late Abba kyari grant interview before or represent Buhari at official function?

Just when we secured an IMF loan these people wan renew their 'ATM' card aka Ajaokuta Steel #IfYouKnowYouKnow ogododo: The Federal Government has inaugurated the Ajaokuta Presidential Project Implementation Team aimed at realising the economic diversification agenda of the regime of the President, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, is the chairman of the team while the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Olamilekan Adegbite, is the Alternate Chairman.
Inaugurating the committee, the SGF said that it was the desire of the government to industrialise the country within a diversified economy.
He said, “The Ajaokuta Steel plant has languished in economic unproductivity for about four decades, and previous efforts at reviving it had proved abortive. This has resulted in avoidable massive foreign exchange losses at intolerable opportunity cost to the country.
“The pressing need to redress these avoidable challenges has necessitated this presidential intervention at this time. This is further underscored by difficulties being witnessed with present challenges in the global oil industry.”
The SGF said it was the focus of the regime to make Ajaokuta steel West Africa’s largest fully integrated steel producer and most importantly, to accelerate industrialisation in steel-related industries.
He added that the government placed a lot of value on the diversification of the economy, hence, the President’s participation at the Russia/Africa summit in Sochi, Russia, hosted by his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin.
Mustapha pointed out that the Ajaokuta Steel Project would “be resuscitated on the basis of a Government-to-Government agreement with funding from the Afrexim bank and the Russian Export Centre”.

The reason most people travel out of the country for vacation instead of going local is because of transportation and security, stamp all these out, you will see the changes. Shouldn't the erring judge be penalized for making this sort of textbook mistake? Or is it also possible that the judge hinged his decision on the fact that he may not have been notified of his elevation to the court of appeal official? An announcement over the media without an official tool backing it up may be null kahal29: Members of the panel are
1. Justices Mary Odili;
2. Justice Bode Rodhes-Vivour,
3. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun,
4. Justice Inyang Okoro
5. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola,
6. Justice Amina Augie
7. Justice Ejembi Eko
In a unanimous judgment on Friday, a panel of seven Justices of Supreme Court set aside the judgment of the Federal High Court as a nullity.
Justice Ejembi Eko who read the leading judgment held that Justice Mohammed Idris having been elevated to the bench of the Court of Appeal was no longer a Judge of the Federal High Court and therefore acted out of the jurisdiction.
The apex court further held that section 396(7) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), 2015 which allows the President of the Court of Appeal to issue a fiat to Justice Idris to adjudicate on the case is a nullity as it conflicts with the provisions of the 1999 constitution.
The controversial section 396(7) of ACJA, which was declared a nullity by the Supreme Court reads;
“Notwithstanding the provision of any other law to the contrary, a Judge of the High Court who has been elevated to the Court of Appeal shall have dispensation to continue to sit as a High Court Judge only for the purpose of concluding any part-heard criminal matter pending before him at the time of his elevation and shall conclude the same within a reasonable time: Provided that this subsection shall not prevent him from assuming duty as a Justice of the Court of Appeal.”
However, the apex court held that the Fiat issued to justice Idris by the president Court of Appeal President dated July 2, 2019 pursuant to section 396(7) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act was unconstitutional.
Justice Eko held that ” the president of the Court of Appeal acted ultra vires her powers when she issued the fiat to Justice Idris to sit as a judge of the Federal High Court.
“The Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal are established by the Constitution with distinct powers and functions. The president of the Court of Appeal has no powers to assign dual powers to a Justice of the Court of Appeal to meddle in the internal affairs of the Federal High Court.
“Justice Mohammed Idris having been elevated to the Court of Appeal ceased to be a Judge of the Federal High Court and therefore lacked the jurisdiction to adjudicate on the case.
“Section 396(7) of ACJA did not give him new powers to perform dual functions.
Section 396(7) of ACJA conflicts with section 253 of the constitution which provides that: “The Federal High Court shall be dully constituted if it consists of at least one judge of that court. It is therefore a nullity.
“The implication is that Justice Idris acted without jurisdiction. It is settled law that jurisdiction is the life wire of adjudication and if a court has no jurisdiction to decide a case, the proceedings remain a nullity ab initio, no matter how well conducted and decided. This is so since a defect in competence is not only intrinsic but also extrinsic to the entire process of adjudication.
“Accordingly, the judgment delivered on December 5, 2019 I hereby set aside. The case file is to be remitted to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court to be assigned to another judge for trial de novo.
“This is because you cannot put something on nothing and expect it to stand as the whole trial was a nullity ab initio”, Justice Eko held.
In her contribution to the judgment, Justice Amina Augie held that section 396(7) of ACJA ” has no place in our statute books. A Justice of the Court of Appeal cannot go back to the High Court and put up a new cap to president on cases. The section is inconsistent with the Constitution and is therefore null and void.”
Other Justices on the panel are Justices Mary Odili; Bode Rodhes-Vivour, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, Inyang Okoro and Olukayode Ariwoola.
The appellant had through their counsel, Chief Solo Akuma (SAN); Dr. Awa Kalu (SAN) challenged the jurisdiction of the trial court to adjudicate on the matter.
They argued that justice Idris who delivered the judgment having been elevated to the bench of the Court of Appeal can no longer sit as a judge of the Federal High Court.
They further challenged the constitutionality of section 396(7) of ACJA and urged the court to declare it unconstitutional.

Good but we've not been told the COVID19 virus causes pneumonia. It triggers respiratory issues - yes and the possibilities that the symptoms may be similar or in effect result in pneumonia is high and yes Azithromycin can clear the symptoms. What we should not try to do is make people believe that Azithromycin cures COVID19 rather it alleviates the symptoms caused by it. The governor's message was using Azithromycin to cure COVID19 which is not so but rather the symptoms listed above. Thanks for sharing though, I appreciate it. larrysworld: https://www.webmd.com/lung/covid-and-pneumonia#1
pneumonia can be caused by bacteria and fungi infections in the lungs. Azithromycin is an anti bacterial to treat it. |

Please what are symptoms of fever?
This foolish loudmouth is apparently unaware that fever is not a disease or sickness by itself. Fever is THE symptom of many diseases and illnesses.
When someone has fever, that's a sign of the immune system responding to some infection. Fever is not a standalone disease. |

I posted a link source backing my assertion, it would be nice if you do the same too ...we are all learning. Thank you all larrysworld: No, you are the ignorant person here. Zithromax is prescribed because if you have a viral infection that affects the lungs, even though it's a virus, you are susceptible to developing a secondary infection which will be bacterial in nature due to now an already weakened immune system. Your body cannot fight the bacteria as it should because it is not even succeeding in fighting the virus, so when treating infections with lungs/ respiratory illnesses, Doctors will prescribe anti-bacterial as well to avoid the person dying from a secondary infection. |

Where the SMS alert or adonbelievit dipoolowoo: By Adedapo Adesanya
Nigeria has received the $3.4 billion emergency loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
IMF Managing Director, Ms Kristalina Georgieva, confirmed to CNBC Africa in an interview that the $3.4 billion loan had been credited to the account of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The funds had been approved under the Rapid Financing Instrument by the Executive Board of the IMF on April 28, to address challenges arising from the economic impact of the COVID -19 pandemic the country.
Ms Georgieva also called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to be transparent and account for every single kobo of the fund.
The federal government had assured that it will publicise all disbursements from the funds, adding that there are plans to conduct an independent audit of all emergency expenditure at the end of the pandemic.
The Nigerian government also agreed to allow the IMF to conduct a due diligence exercise on the CBN, these will be done in line with the Fund’s safeguards assessment program.
According to the IMF chief, the money was sent to the CBN’s account in dollars, after which it would be converted to naira.
“We have already disbursed. In emergency assistance, the board approves, we disburse within days to the country and it goes to their central bank in dollars before it gets converted into naira in the case of Nigeria.
“The conditions are quite favourable and repayment period is five years, up to two and half years is grace period and the interest on the loan is one percent,” she said.
Ms Georgieva assured that the IMF will continue to support Nigeria and other member countries.
“We have put in place policy tracking action, and we are seeing progress each country is making.
“The IMF will continue to support countries and shield them from catastrophic implications of the COVID-19 crisis,” she added.

Education › Re: Does A Masters Degree Guarantee Jobs? by bigtt76(f): 4:49pm On May 06, 2020 |
I agree with you but then some tasks are regarded as less tasking for a Masters degree holder and may be the preserve of a lower qualification holder. At other times, the employer's conscience may be pricked to think paying the employee with a master's degree lower than they deserve is not good especially when they can't afford it. Some other employers may actually encourage employees who gained higher qualifications since it would help boost their image and go on to increase their pay in appreciation. So it's a double edge sword, some appreciate it and pay if they can afford it, others out of shame may politely tell you they can't afford you. The selfish ones will continue to pay you pittance. Chuky7: wow...that sounds bad really. after all the work you put in. there should be people willing to pay your worth |
Education › Re: Does A Masters Degree Guarantee Jobs? by bigtt76(f): 1:31pm On May 06, 2020 |
Not always, in fact it might limit or hamper you if employers can't afford to pay your level of qualification. That's why sometimes people reduce their qualifications on their CVs to improve their chances. Chuky7: Since growing up I have always been accustomed to the idea of double up my degree. Not like it's a bad thing but what purpose does it serve to run a Masters or PhD program in the long run.
My Dad is always telling me to do one program here and there. It gets tiring honestly as I don't consider myself an academic per se and I would only put in effort when I see something is absolutely necessary.
A cousin of mine once went to the UK for her masters, previously working at a brewery. She told me that going for this program would guarantee her an upgrade in department level

Having a female relative on the wife side living with a family is enough stress ....buying underwear for her is hell because of the questions 'How did you know her size or how did you know she needs underwear' ...you need to avoid all of these. You've done well to treat her like your daughter and sad your wife doesn't seem to understand or appreciate it. Do not change in your kindness towards her though but ensure that once she clocks 16-18, you should look for ways to pay her off to leave your house ...else you will find it difficult with your wife at the rate you're going Caringfather: Good evening all
Pls is it wrong for me to buy my wife niece under wears?
I have 3 children 2 girls ages 11, 7 and boy 4 , my wife niece is also living with us. She is 15. I buy my children clothes including their under-wears without my wife complaining I was the one that bought my first daughter her first bras too.
When my wife niece came staying with us it was 2018, I noticed most her clothes were native and worn out. I have given her the money to buy new clothes for the child but she never did. For 2 years now this girl has grown so much and still wearing the same clothes and I really feel ashamed every Sunday when we are going to church. Our kids are looking very cute and this girl is looking unkempt all the time. I have talked to my wife but she doesn’t seem to care about her.
I took all kids out for clothes shopping just before this pandemic and I bought clothes including under wears for all kids but my wife wasn’t happy because I bought bras and under wears for her niece. She said the clothes are fine but I have no right to buy under wears for her. She accused me of sleeping with her niece which is not true. I only did it because this girl was in need of clothes just imagine for 2 years no clothes while she keeps changing our kids wardrobes like every 4-6 months.
I have no intention of sleeping with her niece neither am I sleeping with her. I take her as our first born and am like her father. If I want to cheat on my wife, there are plenty women around me, no way I will stoop so low to sleep with her niece.
I have daughters, sisters and nieces, what I don’t want to happen to my kids then I wouldn’t do it to another person's child. My act was innocent but my wife is angry.
Please be honest with me, was my decision wrong? |
