Den wan humbo my guy Tareq1105: Leave them, let them be ranting on social media.
Primary election is for members of the party. The same party members that your inexperienced Obaseki failed to manage well.
Obaseki was misled by those small boys he's carrying about who cannot deliver in the days of trouble as we're witnessing now.
What does it cost to maintain party leaders if he himself is not a greedy governor?
Obaseki is definitely a bad manager of men.
In Lagos, Fasola got his 2nd term despite Tinubu initial reluctant, bcoz he managed the party leaders well and still performed well as we all know. The party leaders stood by him.
As a politician, you must learn to manage party leaders bcoz the governor is a product of the party leaders hence it's against natural justice to shut the door against them.
You need to reach out to them knowing fully well that you couldn't have made yourself governor. Remember, when they were going up and down without resting or sleeping at home all in an effort to make you governor, reaching out to voters, pasting your campaign posters everywhere day and night, they had expectations. Respect them and honour your agreements with them.
It's only a crook governor that would come out to say all those trash that Obaseki has been saying. Any governor that talk like that is not a serious human being.
How many Edo people were at the meeting where Oshiomhole / others picked him?
Did he enter into any agreement with them then?
I think Obaseki is a bad manager of Men. |

Exactly. We have serious problems at our hands in all spheres of governance and armed forces. Most people we have at various levels of command are not well educated in the fields they're functioning. I recall growing up seeing Nigerian police force men and women go for refresher classes every Friday but that's not so any more. Not sure the army and others has been able to do same too. Sorry for that but in some people, gap teeth makes them look like people who got injured in a physical fight while in others they look sexy. From your pix, yours look like a fight induced gap teeth. Perhaps you should look into getting a denture to fill it up or explain yourself as part of your introduction. barnny: Pls there is this question bothering me for some times now. It has become a constant headache during and after every interview. Pls my Dear Honourable members in Nairaland, Is gap teeth in anyway an excuse interviewers use to disqualify people from any job, Most especially on banking jobs?
I have attended several interviews where I am convinced that i tried during the interview but unfortunately ended up not being shortlisted. I am beginning to think that my gap teeth might be a hindrance to all of my dream jobs...
Recent I applied for a Banking job, Service Executive to be specific where I got shortlisted for Aptitude test for three times. Latter on after some days i received an invite that i have been shortlisted for Virtual interview which was last week. Early this week I took part in the interview were i was told they will get back to me through mail.
Today i just got a reply that my experience, profile and presentation were remarkable but However, they regret to inform me that I was not recommended at the end of the interview session.
Without been told I already knew My open teeth is behind this again. Pls help me out on this, if i should stop wasting my time, energy and money applying for jobs. Honestly I'm beginning to get depressed of all the emotional trauma.
The question is Should i stop applying for jobs like banks? Do I still have hope? How will I start imagine things when My age exceed their limit, knowing fully well that banks has limited age range.
Pls help a brother before depression will weigh me down. Below is the screenshot of the message i got from the recruiters and my gap teeth |

Not surprised this is happening because the civil service is messed up and does not allow for data classification to ensure critical or confidential documents are only available on a need to know basis. In a typical government office, a document can have more than 100 footprints just to move the file from storage to the person requesting for it. It's greater if the person requesting it is a top level manager, as it moves back and forth, you give room to it being duplicated and leaked. Threatening them with a sack will not prevent this. dre11: https://punchng.com/fg-threatens-to-dismiss-workers-leaking-official-documents/ |

Christianity Etc › Re: Should Christians Share In Muslim IFTAR Meals? by bigtt76(f): 10:54pm On May 24, 2020 |
Despite the seemingly difference in the understanding of the scriptures by both religion, the vile against Islam is just too much compared to that against the News (if any at all) that's the point here. The main point we should all be concerned with is the preaching that we all return to God someday. However you chose to believe the word and be ready to meet your creator is left to you but don't vilify another religion over the other. I'm Christian BTW. Agboriotejoye: You still do not get it do you? You said it yourself that islam bears so much similarities with the Old Testament religion and you're right. Paul told the Galatians that if the Old testament religion could save then there will be no need for Christ to come. It was because the ceremonies of the Old religion could not save the soul that demanded the entrance of Christ to the scene.
Till today, Jews see Christians as apostates and same with islam. Or have you not been asked by a Muslim how God could have a son? Who was is wife? Are you implying that God had sex? Nothing like salvation. It's your supplications and good works that will be minused from your sins to determine if you make hell or heaven. etc etc
I hope you can see this fundamental differences now. |

The events documented in the Bible are for a purpose to guide our faith. The fact that it's commemoration is not sanctioned by the Bible does not mean I as a Christian, cannot decide to commemorate it if it means something particular to my life and relationship with God. Jesus Christ went to the wilderness to fast for a reason. Muhammed did same too for a reason and both centered on strengthening their relationship with God (Allah). Agboriotejoye: Again I need to correct some basic errors in your postulates. While it is true that it is the experience of Abraham with the ram that is celebrated as Sallah. There is nowhere in the Bible that it is commemorated. Rather, the Bible calls it a symbolism of the redemptive work of Christ in replacing the sinner on the altar as a burnt offering. Therefore the experience offer different symbolism to CHristians and Muslims.
The forty days fasting of Jesus Christ has nothing to do with Ramadan. They are totally different in history and philosophy pls. |

There's no difference here if you ask me. Both propagated the teachings of God which is the most important thing here. If one set believe their prophet is a direct son of God and the other believe otherwise... It's all about beliefs and understanding of the scriptures. Some people still believe the messiah is yet to come but that doesn't take away their belief in the same God. Agboriotejoye: This is wrong. Christians don't "acknowledge" Jesus Christ the same way Muslims acknowledge Muhammed. We Christians believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, the saviour of the world who died for all mankind. Muslims believe, Muhammad is the last prophet of God who came to guide people back to Allah. Hope you can see the difference. There's still a lot more if you want. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Should Christians Share In Muslim IFTAR Meals? by bigtt76(f): 5:14pm On May 24, 2020 |
Nothing is sacrificed to any gods or deity by the muslims let's not conflate things here. The festival they slaughter Rama is not even to any God or deity but rather commemorating the time God (Allah) instructed Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his only son unto him and during the course changed His request to a sheep he provided in the stead. This is clearly documented in the Bible and the Koran. At no time do Muslims offer any sacrifice to deity. During Ramadan (Lent) they fast in commemoration of prophet Muhammed's doing same and teachings as to why it's necessary to fast. This again is documented in the Bible - Jesus Christ's experience with the devil in the wilderness during his 40 days fasting. Breaking of fast is an act done by both faith.. I see nothing wrong here. I agree with you not eating anything offered to deity or gods but disagree with you that the Bible says you should not eat from what a Muslim offers you in commemoration of their religious ceremonies similar to Christians. Let's all (Christians and Muslims) take time to study each other's books to understand it better instead of trying to rubbish our beliefs. RTSC: The stand of the Bible is this.
Anything that has been openly sacrificed to any other deity except Jehovah is unclean. Do not eat it.
But if you are not sure it has been sacrificed like buying from restaurants or butchers, you can buy freely and give thanks to God before eating.
It's in the Bible. |

When reporting, don't mix up the currencies. State the equivalent received in naira just as you state the equivalent payable in naira NairaLEARN: The low interest rate means the $3.4 billion loan the IMF granted Nigeria in April would be repaid within 5 years and
Nigeria the Africa’s most populous country would pay back about $3.57 billion from the $3.4 billion it was given.
This translates roughly into 0.2 billion in interest, or ($200 million) or (78 billion naira) in interest.
In other words, Nigeria would repay the $3.4 billion loan it was granted plus about 78 billion naira in interest.

Christianity Etc › Re: Should Christians Share In Muslim IFTAR Meals? by bigtt76(f): 1:28pm On May 24, 2020 |
I tell you for fact that what they do is basically exploit some verses or prayers in the Koran (the Bible also have its fair share of these verses and prayers) and either use it for good or evil which in most cases rely on the target's beliefs in it being harmful to them. We have Christian sects who do same too... Are they also diabolic? Psalmist1: On this assertion you can't be 100% correct because I know many Muslims who are very diabolical and they take it as part of the religion, and I also know many who don't want to involve themselves in such and what they always call on and take about is the creator of the universe that He has all powers and protection therefore they can't do such acts with idols. Now you ask yourself who are the Scholars and teaches that preaches to these classes of humans?. And this still go down to what impact or personal understanding we have in our faith and the interpretation we give them. Recognising God as the first and the last by honouring God first is the only thing that can establish good morals and value I ones life. And this makes one to be careful in your choice of action because you have a question to answer later, and can only be you. We need not to play ourselves thinking that we are playing God. My being a Christian was was orchestrated by God as I was in a Christian family, and my neighbour as a Muslim is also not his making but God because he's born into a Muslim family. Our action is determined by what we know believe in, and how serious we take them. God is the rightful Judge. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Should Christians Share In Muslim IFTAR Meals? by bigtt76(f): 1:17pm On May 24, 2020 |
I disagree with you. I'm not a Muslim but I'm a Christian. Allah is the equivalent name of God in arabic. Arabic is a language just like Latin or English used for worship by either Muslims or Christian. If you go to countries in middle-east where there are Christians and Arabic is the language, the word Allah is used when referring to God. The Koran is basically the same as out old testament... My point is, Muslims don't worship demons nor sacrifice to demons. Rather they pray for the soul of the animals being slaughtered because they believe anything that has live in it does not deserve to die in pain. Poloyanabo1: Ok then! God has reasons why he told us in 2cor.6:14-18(pls read it urself) Muslims worship a daemoon(error intended) called allah, and before any feat or occasion they dedicate it to this daemoon, When a christain participate in such, wether he prays or not he becomes spiritually unclean with that demon. A lot of demons are hovering looking for who to cling on to, that's why a true christain always needs to watch and pray! |
