Make the process seamless and everyone would have it stop threatening us
Automate the process for birth and dth registration such that at birth a child is temporarily assigned a NIN and at 16/18 years old it is formally activated and notified to the child. At death, it's automatically deactivated once a death certificate is issued... Simple instead you're threatening with a fine or imprisonment... Una get space for prison to jail all 199.5 million Nigerians? Idiots
They need to clarify from your business contact in India and Al's to confirm if it's a genuine business entity inviting you hence the need to check with their ministry in India. Did you submit your passport?

I just had a traditional wedding earlier this month. I'm not based in Nigeria. I provided all the finances for the wedding before I arrived Lagos. Everything listed to be bought for the wedding I provided all. To my surprise wedding that was suppose to take place in a hall had to take place in a cramped sitting room. No food, no drinks, no DJ etc. What did they use the funds for? I don't know. I asked questions and no answers given. To be fair to her family members, I didn't give money directly to her parents or siblings. I gave the funds to my wife to be.
Surprisingly on the day of the small wedding, her uncle was accusing me of not providing money to organize the wedding properly. My heart sank. I look in the direction of my wife to be and couldn't believe what just came out of her uncle's mouth. Whereas I provided money for everything. The wedding prayers went ahead and we were joined together.
After the dry wedding ceremony I began to ask questions but my new wife couldn't give me explanation. Fast forward to last week I was looking for money I kept in my drawer and couldn't find it. I decided to just keep quiet and watch. I set another trap. I had some US Dollars in my wallet and exposed the money for her to see. I went to the shower and lo and behold my new wife removed the dollars from my wallet. I got dressed after shower and we went outside to go somewhere together as my driver was in the car waiting. As we were going, I opened my wallet and saw the dollars gone. I blew a whistle right there and she denied it. I asked driver to return home. I had my parent and siblings at home on that day but I can bet my life on them. I told them what's going on. My new wife was all over the place and shaken. I refused to talk to her. I confided in my mother and explained how I set the trap for my wife. Surprisingly my wife started making moves. She planted the money all over the place which I saw as she was doing. I pretended I didn't see her. I refused to talk to her. All of a sudden she confronted me and attacked me that I suspected her to be the one who stole my money. She started saying she stoop so low to allow herself to be ridiculed in the presence of my family. I confronted her with evidence and she began crying and blaming devil. She has done series of money infractions that I couldn't list here. She fights me for money on daily basis since we got married. No money ever enough.
This is a woman that I gave a car to already and spent so much on to be comfortable. I just bought her another car to be given to her on her birthday. On the day she stole the dollars I had just given her 100,000 naira pocket money for the week. She's been crying and begging for two days saying it won't happen again. She has refused to eat.
Here is the bombshell I just confirmed she's now three weeks pregnant. I can't trust my life with her at this juncture. I'm leaning towards divorce. I'm too scared to be with her. She's too greedy.
Of the service chiefs, only the IG of Police has been changed in recent time by the regime ....did it change the crime situation or police extortion in the land?
I'm sure Lagos state will soon introduce a permit to enter the state

frowland: It's a scam. The narrative have scam written all over it. He will then be asked to pay 1k$ to claim 4800$. They knew he was in Lagos so they used Abj. If he was in Abj they would have shifted their location to Lagos.

Possession of a valid passport is now a must for travel across West Africa (at least from Nigeria and back) by air, land or sea.
veneza: I would like to travel for a short trip to ecowas countries like Senegal, Gambia and the likes. But the thing is that I have my passport but my little kid doesn't have yet. I was thinking if it's possible to go with her. Or better still don't go with any passport
First you need to properly document your appointment to manage the company and the pay rise from N100k to N300k signed by the HR (if company is a limited liability one). If its a one man business, you may not need the letter but you would need to show that paying yourself that much is justifiable and would not impact the business negatively.
The ECO wants to see your steady income of N300K coming from one or more sources BUT be ready to explain with concrete evidence your affiliations with those sources to make the deposits credible enough.
Next, run the account dilligently for 6 months and avoid any sudden huge deposits aside from the N300k you now earn as income from the business. You need to make sure your monthly expense is low and your disposable income is more than enough to cover your travel/vacation expense of not more than your 2 month's disposable income. All the best.
I recently took a decision to try UK and Schengen visa. I want to take it a step at a time and first thing I need clarification on is on account running. I currently manage my father's business and I make a little over 100k but for the sake of this Visa purpose, I will be paying myself 300k from the business account. I can't keep all as some of this money have to go back into the business.
Pls, I want advise from experts on how best to run the account, how to make the deductions from the account. Is it okay to transfer 200k from that account to another account of mine at once and leaving 100k there ? From the 100k can I touch some of it and then replace after using the fund for whatever personal purpose I use it for?
I just want a very simple explanation on how to go about it.
I smell exits here. Same tactics Diamond used. Sell foreign assets first and thereafter get acquired by a stronemger Nigerian bank... Maybe GTBank or Zenith Bank we are watching
Lagos traffic is something else. It's back to the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge after taking a break .....technology can't save us from it. The thought making payments electronic would help forgetting the human factor. Las las we will be fine
CotenantNIG: As we prepare for work tomorrow monday, lets look at what causes traffic in Lagos.
Do you know most times when you get to what causes traffic jam in Lagos you might not really see what happened but lets look at the major actors of this problem in Lagos
Bad Roads [img][/img] Bad roads in Lagos slow down the movement of vehicles as drivers try to manoeuvre their way through the pot holes. The more vehicles that slow down to navigate pot holes, the more traffic builds up. When this goes on for a long time, it results in a gridlock.
These drivers are notorious for violating traffic laws. They drive recklessly, drive against traffic, and drive non-road worthy buses. Worse is their act of passenger pickups at undesignated areas. Without warning, these buses stop on main roads and cause traffic jams. One example is at the Ajah bridge, where the buses and the market on the expressway are the sole cause of what could be an hour-long traffic jam.
Even thou this is the fastest mode of transport in Lagos, when this guys are looking for customers they can block the road just to get one person to enter their bike
I guess because of their size they think they can just enter any small lane and bypass motor cars. As a driver you need to be careful when this people are by your side any small turn you brush them.
Some times in the name of catching danfo drivers do you know this guys can block the road for almost 1 hour if you don’t believe please go to ikeja Along or oshodi. Lastma officials have being seen dragging the steering with a driver on numerous occassions
A typical example is a road that should normally have 3 lanes becomes 6 lanes because everyone is in a hurry and wants to move at the same time. This would go on for a while until they get to a point where the road narrows to what should be a lane or 2 probably due to an intersection or the topography of the road, people begin to scramble to return back to the original 2 lanes.
Civil Defence Corp kwanu ......hmmmmm RIP to the dead.
AlexReports: Imo billionaire philanthropist, Chief Ndubuisi Emenike, popularly known as Ototonwa is dead.
