If you hold someone spiritual in high esteem, it is the more reason why you won't want to appear before them in see through nightie naaaa. Nighties are for your bedroom alone and not step out in it for others to see ...others in the sense of someone not your husband or very close family members. Pastor Biodun was not any of these. Why should I even hold a spiritual leader in awe that would make me forget myself or manners? Is he God? wirinet: You obviously have never been mesmerised by a man of God or spiritual leader. Baba na president of UK ni? Hin never write National Assembly with hin Ministerial nominees oooo na another country parliament hin de write ....alrite naaaa kwantinu Wisdomkosi: Buhari Writes British Parliamentary Group, Denies Persecution Of Christians
Posted by Wisdom Nwedene
The Nigerian Government has denied claims by a group styling itself as Northern Christian Elders Forum, "who falsely alleged that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is practicing bigotry and alienating Christians."
In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Thursday by President Buhari’s Spokesman, Garba Shehu said the Nigerian government strongly dismissed as inconceivable and outrightly false, allusions to the effect that the Boko Haram terrorism served a government agenda against Christians.
The response by the Nigerian Government is contained in a letter to the British Parliamentary Group, signed by Nigeria's High Commissioner to UK, George Adetola Oguntade.
Two letters were addressed to Rt Revd Philip Mounstephen, a former secretary of the Church Missionary Society (CMS) and now Head, "Independent Review of Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Support of Persecuted Christians, "and Baroness Berridge, the Chair of "All Parliamentary Group for International Freedom of Religion or Belief. "
In the correspondences, the Nigerian government strongly dismissed as inconceivable and outrightly false, allusions to the effect that the Boko Haram terrorism served a government agenda against Christians.
"It would be useful for me to engage with this process to ensure that you are thoroughly briefed on the situation in Nigeria, "High Commissioner Oguntade wrote in the correspondences.
Responding to the interim report on Foreign and Commonwealth Office Support for Persecuted Christians, Oguntade, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court, told Rev. Mounstephen:
"The safety and security of all Nigerians, whatever their faith, is a fundamental priority of the Buhari Government. The government knows that Nigeria can only achieve its potential if there is religious tolerance and cooperation."
The High Commissioner explained that President Buhari's deputy is a Pastor, adding that the President "has befriended Church leaders and church groups both within and outside Nigeria."
He added that the President’s cabinet is balanced between Muslims and Christians, noting that he himself was a former Chancellor of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).
According to Justice Oguntade, Vice President Osinbajo has maintained regular contacts with Christian and Muslim leaders as part of efforts to build and sustain interfaith dialogue.
Stressing that the country's security challenges had no ethnic and religious colourations, the High Commissioner said the farmers/herders clashes predated the Buhari administration, noting that such clashes bordered on the desire for pasture by the herders and the desire to protect crops from encroachment and destruction by the farmers.
Oguntade explained that these clashes had a long history and the Buhari administration is taking a major step to address the root cause of these crises and violent clashes pitting Muslim and Christian farmers alike against the herders.
According to the High Commissioner, "the issue of grazing routes is historically central to these conflicts and the Buhari administration is taking a holistic approach to the matter with a view to ending it once and for all, so that Nigerians can live in peace with one another."
He, therefore, assured the international community that the Buhari Administration would ensure that "the competition over scarce land is resolved peacefully for the benefits of all parties."
The Nigerian government also rejected attempts by the reporting group to link Boko Haram terrorism with official policy, stating clearly that these violent acts by the terrorist group predated the Buhari administration, like many others that were inherited on coming to office in 2015.
The Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK said criminal groups such as the Boko Haram terrorists who kill Muslims and Christians do not represent Muslims.
"Boko Haram is a murderous death cult whose savagery has destroyed thousands of lives.
"The Government is totally dedicated to eradicating their stain from our land.
"Since the Buhari administration has been in power, Boko Haram has been significantly degraded – with the support and assistance of the UK Government. We shall not rest until this mission is completed and the people of North East Nigeria – both Christians and Muslims – can live in peace again, "he said.
The two letters were each accompanied by a copy of an opinion article signed by the President and published on November 30, 2018, by London-based "Church Times," entitled: DON’T POLITICISE RELIGION IN NIGERIA.
In the article, President Buhari, among other things, said Muslims and Christians can flourish together.
"These two great religions (Islam and Christianity) can not only peacefully coexist but flourish together. But we must first turn to one another in compassion. For as Amos teaches us: “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to meet?”.
"We must resist the temptation to retreat into our communities because if we do, our palette of possibilities will remain primary. It is only when we mix them together that we can imagine new and greater possibilities.
"As our constitution spells out, politicizing religion should have no place in Nigeria. However, it is all the more reprehensible when in doing so; it feeds fears and plays to man’s baser instincts.
"For it makes us turn away from one another; it makes us retreat into our communities and walk different paths; and it blinds us to each other’s God-given dignity, " the President said in the article published in Church Times.

Yes but how come was she able to get all the benefits of a British citizen without a British passport? It appears she knew all along and was bidding for time to get a permanent stay as a Nigeria and when it did not work, tried to chip in the fact she had a British birth certificate ....we take things for granted in this life really Beautyaddy: lol!...I had to go back and read the article again.
One major mistake the parents did was that they left the UK with her after she was born and never bothered to get her registered as a British citizen and to get her a UK passport.
Most likely, her parents must have gotten her a Nigeria passport for her to travel with back to Nigeria.
Now after spending about most of her early childhood in Nigeria she must have come back to the UK with a Nigerian passport. |

Exactly! How did she get back to Britain after coming back to Nigeria with her parents at the age of 3? What passport did she use? MrBrownJay1: as sad as it may be, just because you were born and lived all your life somewhere (undocumented) does not automatically means your are now a national of that country. any foreigner can get a National Insurance number, birth certificate, driving licence, a bank account, go to college, and still not be British.
the law changed 6 months before she was born, she and her family bloody well knew it...
BTW how does she expect to go perform in the US if she has no passport?! |

All these people should go and sort themselves joooor and stop disturbing people's life ishiamu: Server Controversy: Several INEC staff say results transmitted to ‘central server
Several officials who said they were deployed as electoral officers by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2019 presidential election said they transmitted results electronically to a ‘central server’ through smart card readers.
This they said was done in compliance with the directive given by the commission during a three-day training before the polls.
The 20 officials deployed to various states, who mostly worked as presiding officers, said they were told that there was a “central server in Abuja” where results are collated electronically.
It is not immediately clear on which “central Server” the officials admitted to transmitting results but this has added a new twist to the ongoing confusion trailing INEC’s consistent denial that it used no server for the election.
A manual issued to the electoral officials by INEC for the 2019 election revealed that the “Communicate” icon on the Smart Card Reader should be used to transmit the accreditation data to the central server.
Another handbook for election officials in 2018 was however more précise on how presiding officers should use the card readers for electronic collation and transmission of results.
It said it became necessary to apply technology to transmit data and results from the polling units due to irregularities that take place after the voting process.
“After successfully filling the EC8A result sheet and announcing the result, the presiding officer shall tap the e-collation application on the home screen”, a part of the book read.
Backstory The runner up in February’s presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, and his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the election tribunal.

Yea... because that's the trend now. They want to make the heavyweight division more attractive to command more when it comes to the bookies. Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury just did first round knockouts so why not AJ... they would want him to do same too. The previous fights were legit but if you must make name, you need to go out of the UK to make it hence his decision to fight in the US and which came at a price.... the fixing. kenex4ever: Then why are you so confident that AJ will knock him out in the first round??. Does it mean the knocking out will be fixed too
And also most of AJs knockouts are now questionable going by your analogy. |

I'm not being sentimental about it. I stopped watching wrestling the minute I discovered it was all fixed. Take time to watch heavyweight boxing bouts on YouTube and you will realize that Deontay knocking out Beazale in round one with the guy sprawling on the canvas as if he was gonna die is all fixed. Or Tyson Fury dodging harmless punches like those wrestlers wagging their bumbum and winding their fist before throwing a punch are all for entertainment. AJ will come.back.though and he will knock out Ruiz in round one or two. You think all security intelligence personnel don't know when to dabble into this unserious business? Sports is fixed... period! Go ask FIFA kenex4ever: na only Una for Nigeria know say them fix the match. Even British people that he fights for don't know. But since you are a professional detective, you are able to detect a match fixing "with sentiment" that British intelligence couldn't. Kudos. |

At embolden... do you think AJ will tell his dad match was going to be fixed and he would get whooped? No Dear. Which was why the old man was shocked because he probably saw that AJ was not himself before the fight and may have attempted getting the manager to call off the fight but you know, it doesn't work that way. Do you know that Eddie Hearns managed Dlllian Whyte? Another top contender? If there were not going to be a conspiracy, Whyte would have been drafted to replace Ortiz when he was disqualified due to dooe test failure, but because they want someone people would not look to bet on winning, they went for Ruiz. Mafians run the boxing world kenex4ever: Poor analysis, it doesn't work like that. No body but a shameless fool thats not worth being called a heavy weight will comprise a fight to lose all his heavyweight tittles.
If it was fixed why did AJs father got mad at his promoter
All these while he has been winning and no Nigerian said it was fixed, now he lost n all of a sudden it was fixed just to make you feel better. These kinds of sentiment can only emanate from Nigeria.
I strongly believe AJ will win him in d second fight if he prepares well. Go and watch furry's recent videos/comments about AJ, you will understand dat AJ is at his low point just like most other heavyweights.
The ability to come back stronger is what makes a true champion, sentiment apart. |

This last one was definitely fixed and or AJ compromised to lose. The odds were all against Ruiz which means anyone who staked on him winning was going to make so much out of the fight. What if AJ himself staked on Ruiz winning so as to make more? Making money in sports is the real deal and not hanging on to the belt. Deontay is only ha Ying on to the belt beating small small boys but is not making money compared to AJ. The in thing now is for the boxers to target first round knock outs which another big betting avenue. Watch the sham of a knockout Wilder and Fury scored in their individual bouts recently? Does it look real to you? I bet you, next fight AJ will knock out Ruiz in the first or second round because the odds would be on him losing and once he's fixed to win, more money for the cartel. Kingosytex: so you are saying that all those matches won by AJ were fixed? |
