My friend whose girlfriend traveled to greener pastures and cut him off her life was delivered bad news recently. It was courtesy of me.

So I went searching on Facebook and came across said female. She changed her name on the platform but is still using the same display picture everyone knows her with. She is doing well. She got married to a far older caucasian gentleman who looks homeless. It’s safe to say she did it for papers. Her financial life has bumped for the better as she now has a good job, has enjoyed double promotions at work and is now at a level higher than a Nigerian bank manager. I’m curious to know if she has plans to bear the white man children. Since she’s my friend’s [ex]girlfriend who we weren’t close to begin with, I’m not in a position to engage a friendship talk less of a question-and-answer session.

I told my friend about the development and he has lost sleep for days. Compared to her flourishing life, he is yet to find his footing. His small job which put food on the table for four years got cut from the pandemic situation in 2020. He keeps wondering where he’s going wrong in life.

Was I wrong to update him regarding her life or I should have stayed shut and minded my business? Till now he has no idea why she cut him off and is still nursing hope that she’ll come back.

Most people who become stone hearted and hurt others do it from experience or from other people's experiences. Only those who have the fear of God don't start punishing everyone that comes their way. Lets all learn to heal and forgive. Also let the deceit stop. I once said I only dated people I thought I could settle down with not just some random person whom I know I can't marry. Some guys here cane for me saying not all relationships lead to marriage. We know that but why go and date a girl you have no intention marrying for years. If something happens along the line and separates you two ,that's different from just dating for sex.

Good women have been with guys even sponsoring them and they got disappointed by the guy, either cheating on them or breaking up with them with flimsy excuses, like they were told by some prophet that they are not compatible, or that their family don't like the girls tribe, All sorts of crap. Just like the one who posted here about telling his girlfriend he was getting married to someone else and the girl was crying. I have known ladies in the past and present who have spent 4,5 and even 11 years wasted dating a guys hoping for marriage and were disappointed. Ereyesterday (the day before yersterday), One of my friend was asking for empty FCMB or Union bank account via WhatsApp status. Been that my mum has one with the later, I decided to send him a message on that.

Though, his senior brother is a gee guy — and he stays with him, but I don't know why or what he needs it for. He only said he wants to use it to collect money.

Thanks for telling me the blunt truth, but my husband holds key position in the church, there's no reason I give that would be meaningful to him except I become opened about the issue...Actually I didn't get close to him, but he ( Reverend) seems to be interested in my spiritual life, often times he wants me do certain church activities which I usually dodge, since then each time he sees me in church, he doesn't fail to call my name, if I'm seated amongst my friends, he will call me, greet me and pass, every time , since then I began to have this funny feeling for him...
