biltem:Good point. What I also don't understand is why and how a sovereign country, Iran, fund and interfere into the activities of another sovereign country, Nigeria. I also understand there was exchange of gun fires all through the night. Except the military was shooting at itself, I hope to understand why would a religious sect, who claims to be peaceful stockpile arms at it holy grounds. There maybe more to this story and I believe there is more. |
That was an irresponsible tweet from Femi Adesina regardless of who he is referring to |
First, let's assume that the journalist's story is true. He made a terrible mistake by not cross-checking details. His editor or supervisor is also culpable. They probably assumed to got a news headliner, a killer story. Other things I find strange is communicating with someone for over a year without verification. Which means all contribution from Sagay published by this Journalist is false. There is also something called Truecaller. I certainly feel sad for him that his negligence has cost him his job and that of his supervisor. This should be a huge lesson to existing and young journalist. |
EternalTruths:What do you know about True Federalism. You think it's a fancy word your daddy used to talk about? Opening your mouth to talk when you do not understand stuff |
I think I am getting tired of hearing, seeing and reading topics like this. It is not enough to snap and scream on twitter. These thieves deserve to be stoned else what is the essence. Please, we Nigerians, are dumb people. Enough with the wailing, either we enjoy the looting or we partake from them. Hence, nothing can explain this nonchalant attitude of ours. |
Beautiful response from Reno. I enjoyed reading it. The administration must wake up and work. It appears that the previous administration looted the country, but it should not ground the country. Nigerians were not expecting the treasury to be intact. The best the administration can do is to work hard and quit the blame game. We are tired. |
Fair point Keyamo. There is the need for proper governance in Africa. However, these masquerades will still have to answer to their crimes at some point in life, but not so soon. |
Babacele:Good to know |
McTobe:Not a problem. When I do find the time, I shall create and post some thread. I guess am getting bored with this "Religion Superiority", which actually is resulting to the chaos being experienced in the world now. If only we can all be tolerant and try to appreciate the opinions of others, there would be no terrorist group in the world. |
saintbeckie:I would love to know more about this gaining the entire world and losing the Soul. Can you elaborate further please. |
When the Vice President is giving this kind of reassurance, he needs to be clear on what kind of change. Change can be positive or negative. We are currently experiencing negative change at the moment. |
This man doesn't know the job. He is a YES man |
Supported. Let the COAS go and explain himself and one of the recommendations, apart from compensation, should be instant sacking for gross misconduct and abuse of power. Certainly, the shites group are not expected to block the road, but not after you have gain access you return back to kill them off |
All these people dollarizing our economy. Where did she get the dollars from? Thought CBN has put in place strict policies on dollar sales. |
The way some people think. I truly hope that this was posted by a child, else I don't know what to make of it. |
McTobe:This is the kind of discussion we should be having rather than which religion is supreme than the other. I studied this thread and shook my head. The OP was asking a question and some pretentious people who think they are Christians jumped into the thread to cast more fear into his troubled heart. How many of these pretentious people know about Jesus, that they pretentiously claim to love. How many of them know and truly understand the GOD concept. When you ask them simple logical questions, they rush to quote a book written by men. Religion is a huge problem and has outlived its usefulness. GOD must be experienced and not read about. You have to experience GOD before you even start your spiritual race. Jesus has said it GOD is spirit and must be worshiped in spirit and in truth - that is a logical truth, but your Christian leaders has twisted that logical truth staring right in your face. I will repeat again, you do not read about GOD to know IT. You must experience GOD and when you do, nothing in this world, no book, no fallacies or pastors will ever deceive you again. Let's stop these pretentious excuses offered freely on this thread and concentrate on how we can truly experience GOD. I would concluded again - many are called, but a few are chosen. Are you the few and when I mean few, I mean very very very very few. |
McTobe:Wealth can be a karmic burden because you tend to want more and hence live in its illusion. Take a look at most wealthy men. Even Jesus said it would be hard for a wealthy man to enter into the kingdom of God. Wealth is not bad, but how many can have self mastery over having such power and can acquire any material thing on this materialistic plane. Even Bill Gate, a Freemason, has realized this and has assigned a huge portion of his wealth to charities and is now chasing a cause for the betterment of this world. Nothing is wrong with acquiring wealth, it is just how you use it that matters. In your quest of acquiring wealth, you may be doing the universe a great disservice |
We all understand that fuel subsidy is used to enrich few Nigerians. However, immediately the subsidy is removed, the cash savings will be used to enrich another different, if not the same, few Nigerians. |
jasysandra:Many of them are members |
jasysandra:Why bother yourself over these things. How do you separate yourself from darkness. No matter how hard you try to convince the ignorant or blind, they will never listen. Jesus, the Christ, came and his people never listened. He was stoned and crucified to death. The same Jesus, the christians are eagerly waiting for, just like the Jews are still waiting for their messiah, if he comes, these same Christians will stone him again and probably shoot him to the cross. Worry not. It is not yet their time. Many are called, but few are chosen. |
@OP in this life, not everyone is reincarnated to understand the spiritual principles of The Supreme Deity (God). AMORC is not for everyone, but important for everyone, because it sets you on a path to get to God closer, maybe not in this lifetime, but the principles you shall learn will be useful in the next. You can politely tell your uncle that you are not yet already. Do not be afraid, he will surely understand, or you can allow him brief you more about the organization before you join. Please AMORC is not a pathway to riches, in fact it preaches against material things. Allow the ignorants to wallow in their misery, when their time comes nothing in this world will stop them from acquiring the true knowledge of God, Supreme Creator, not even their bible, pastor or Christian beliefs. Take your time. As they say, when the student is ready, the master will appear. |
I don't know if this news is true but it's a welcome development. Linda is an amateur businesswoman. You don't advertise your wealth out in the open. Tax evasion is a criminal offense and offenders could be imprisoned. Guess her enemies are at work and want her out of the blogging business |
This list is incomplete except it is as at 1999 |
SeXistBaStaRd:u are a wicked soul |
What is the percentage of our internal revenue in financing the budget. That can guide us to know how much the government intends to borrow to finance the deficit. Else, unnecessary debts will be borrowed and I also doubt we have a 12% debt:GDP ratio. |
We thank God. It is weeping sad that some people decided to profit from insurgency. It just shows us how bastardized the values and morals are in this country |
Oil prices will never get to $100 per barrel except there is war or conflict in the Middle East. There are more suppliers now and change in consumer preference to alternative energy. Our country, unfortunately is not an innovative one. It may suffer consequences in the future for not thinking properly and for wasting its reserves. |
I knew she will die soon because it is stage 4 cancer. RIP. I wonder why she didn't detect it on time |
Is this true? |
Austerity measures. BUHARINOMICS |
The money that would have been used to make the reform was stolen by you. You see the good reason why these wicked men should go to prison so that they can see first hand the pains Nigerians go through. |
