Politics › Re: Tompolo: Militants Intensify Attacks On Oil Pipelines, oil companies shutdown by Boss13: 3:34pm On Jan 16, 2016
I am really interested in how this plays out. Tompolo cannot be bigger than the government else it would be sending a wrong signal
Christianity Etc › Re: ‘Face To Face With Lucifer’: TB Joshua's Meeting With Lucifer Goes Viral by Boss13: 6:13pm On Jan 15, 2016
What I do like about TB Joshua is that he understand his market, he knows how to create and sustain brand awareness and likewise, recruited the right hands to assist him.

Agree with me or not, he is certainly good at what he does and this has tremendously increased his net worth. The man needs close examination by Harvard business review team to understand how he continues to create patronage including international patronage.

EFCC had better start recruiting staff. The harvest is plentiful!
I tell you. They seriously need staff especially admin staff.

I fear there may be a coup or a huge distraction to stop these trials from commencing, but Nigeria will boil if anything happens to Buhari

Celebrities › Re: Wizkid Smashes Bottle On Dammy Krane's Head At Nightclub? by Boss13: 1:19pm On Jan 15, 2016
These guys just live in denial. If it's true, Dammy Krane should report to the Police and ensure that a criminal case is file against wizkid, whilst a civil suit is brought against him too
Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu Blasts Mama Taraba(pics) by Boss13: 1:08pm On Jan 15, 2016
I think the government cannot handle pressure group. It is sad but that's what government is about. Certainly, you cannot divulge sensitive security information, but you can inform the parents in a more humane manner and not with arrogance. The President and his team are not doing the chibok girls and their parents any favour, it is their collective duties to find those girls and bring them home safely. For Pete sake, that was part of the president's manifesto.

We must congratulate the BBOG pressure group for their relentless effort to continue to put government on their toes.
Politics › Re: Buhari Copied Jonathan’s Budget – Soludo by Boss13: 9:22am On Jan 15, 2016
Sentiments apart, this country really needs Soludo as minister of finance. He has the repute to turn things around.

Crime › Re: Exxonmobil Engineer Rapes Teenager, Gives Her N1,000 To Console Her by Boss13: 12:18pm On Jan 14, 2016
I shake my head. This case should be followed to the end. He should be used as an example. However, in this situation, the victim, the police and the accused may want to settle out of court. That is the reason we still have monsters roaming around.
Politics › Re: How Akpobolokemi, Tompolo Stole Nimasa’s Billions- PM NEWS by Boss13: 10:37am On Jan 14, 2016
Nigeria needs to implement the Jury system where a selected group of people hear cases especially criminal cases and deliberate if the accused is guilty or not.

It is an effective tool to send these thieves to prison

Chai bad market for IPOB youths cheesy cheesy.

I will rather kill myself than commit suicide for any damn politician.
Good thinking. Can you imagine that even Jim Nwobodo, who I vividly remember holding the hands of Jonathan and confirming the Islamization of Nigeria and the dictatorship of Buhari would join this same party is proudly criticized.
Politics › Re: Forgive Me When I Said That APC Is An Islamic Party, It Was A Joke –ekwunife by Boss13: 5:37pm On Jan 13, 2016
This is one of the major reasons I shake my head and wipe for Biafra agitators and those who indiscriminately hate the president. Unfortunately, the major category of these people are the youth. These politicians say these things for their personal selfish interest. They will not think twice to abandon you when the odds favour them at the other end. Hence be open minded and criticize constructively

I've given the dude so many sign that I don't like him during our child dedication. I tried calling me but I don't pick his calls. The men of gods this day are master of stomach infrastructure.
You need to tell him to stay away from your family. Issue the same warning to your wife, you can threaten her to go marry the pastor. Pastors, these days, take advantage of women

They are trying to protect themselves and not show off their phones
Business › Re: Naira Crashes Even Further To 300 Against Dollar by Boss13: 8:52am On Jan 13, 2016
The CBN must find a way to fizzle out both the BDCs and parallel market. There is a change of consumer preference in holding the dollars rather than the naira. The preference will not change. The CBN must look for ways to ensure that holding the dollars is worthless in this country.

Informing the public that they can now deposit dollars into their account only increases the demand for dollars. There are businesses in this country that accepts only dollars as a means of exchange. We have importers in essential sectors in the country example Rice consumption.

A lot of people are screaming diversify the economy. Nobody is considering the stress and cost of production. An importer is merely a middleman. He calls his manufacturers who supplies him with products, he pays and sell to desperate consumers. That's a lot much easier than manufacturing and likewise, managing a business. Nobody is even considering international competition, where the Chinese are willingly to cut down the prices of their products to encourage buyers to continue patronage.
Business › Re: Naira Crashes Even Further To 300 Against Dollar by Boss13: 8:29am On Jan 13, 2016
grandstar:
An official devaluation would have crashed the price to 230 at most. This was the. same experience in 2009 when Soludo tried in vain not to devalue it from120. It hit 190 at the black market.Sanusi came, devalued it to 150 andd the black market rate rose towards 150. Experts know why they say devalue.
Let me pick up my discussion based on your comment. I will not support the CBN to devalue the naira. We have people who make a living from currency speculation. Immediately the CBN devalue the naira, these guys increases their offer for the dollar - possibly N400 to a dollar. This will create panic.

I also welcome the development on the non-sale of FOREX to BDC operators. These BDC operators are the main suppliers of FOREX to the parallel market. They buy at the official rate of N199 to a dollar and sale at ridiculous prices to the Parallel Market. The BDCs are also useful channels for money laundering. Moreover, we have over zealous importers who would pay any amount for the dollars because they want to import illegal products and also pass the price to the end consumer.

The CBN should ensure easy access to FOREX for genuine transactions and importation of products qualified for FOREX.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Economic Crisis Worsens - BBC by Boss13: 9:18am On Jan 12, 2016
This is a stupid news from a foreign tabloid. The Nigerian economy may not be strong due to decline oil prices, but do not relate it to foreign speculative investors, whose aim are to make profit from buying our government bonds or private shares.
Politics › Re: Metuh To EFCC: I’d Rather Starve Than Refund N400m by Boss13: 9:15am On Jan 12, 2016
I do not understand this story because I cannot relate with the effrontery on Metuh. I also want to believe that the EFCC has been able to trace the fund allocated to Metuh and if not, what is the essence of their investigation - hope it is not just speculative.

It is not up to Metuh to tell the government whether he would refund the money or not, same applicable to Falae. The government should obtain court orders to confisticate their personal properties, houses, vehicles, shares and even personal cash.

You do not steal and then boast about it or rather, receive stolen funds and refuse to return it.
Business › Re: Abuja Residents Auction Exotic Cars To Raise Cash by Boss13: 9:07am On Jan 12, 2016
When people make statement like there is no money in the country, I just don't get it. Rather, that statement should be reviewed to - money leakages and illegal withdrawal of funds have been tightened.

People with genuine businesses still make money. This is why I also support the CBN stance on not selling FOREX to bureau de change operators.

Please let's make money the right way.

Thanks

CBN will sell dollars to genuine importers, especially if such goods are allowable into the country. We cannot fund importers to bring in tooth pick. Nigeria should not be a dumping ground
