As you said, it's very straightforward but there's no need to address previous refusal as she's not applying for visiting. wallg123: From this letter it is clear you did not submit sufficient proof of your financial capabilities.(I.e not enough money to see you through out your visit). Your case worker thinks you disguising your true intentions for applying for a visitors visa. They scared you might not return if granted visitors visa.. However you’ve stated that you now intend applying via the study route which is very straightforward.
I don’t think it will affect your student visa application if you fill it honestly. In you application be honest and declare all visa refusals you’ve got .Also address those issues raised before (finances). Submit sufficient proof of educational qualifications including your UK admission letters.

Option 3: Main applicant applies first (assuming POF covers her) then dependants apply later Lawke: Hello, please nairaland people my cousin and her husband wants to apply for visa today.. she is the main applicant and her husband and 2 kids are depandants. After running the proof of funds for 28days, they printed the statement of account. They said it is valid for 30days. Her CAS came out yesterday, it was late because of festive season and they want to apply tomorrow. The problem is the amount in the account is short off a few millions, can they still use it like that since they printed the statement already. And also the statement 30days validity after printing will expire in 4days cos they printed the statement middle of December after the 28days. My question is can they still use the statement even if it’s short a few millions of the required funds. Please note they already kept the complete funds for 28days. |

What's the point of divorcing someone who doesn't exist. I think she should come clean and also hire a lawyer. Surprised there's no ban on that letter and if none, there's a chance. wallg123: Madam sorry to see this happening to you but the truth is you were dishonest.... Look at the reasons for refusal?on several occasions you’ve declared that you’ve not been married before ...At the same time you married with two spouse simultaneously ? .. My advice would be you go back to the drawing board and (1) divorce one of your husbands and (2) provide proof of this divorce (3) Also in the future be honest and declare all your marriages.... (4) Take responsibility for your actions and stop blaming any agent ( you are an adult if you see someone using your details to commit fraud confront them ....... (5) let your current husband take lead and provide all the required proof that your marriage this time is genuine... Goodluck |

Wanna know the information that surrounds the situation below based on the past post study work visa.
Applicant A gets a psw visa after studies.
Applicant B is the dependant of applicant A and also gets a dependent psw visa.
Before the expiry of their visa, applicant B switches (in or out of the country as the case may be as at then) and is now on a student visa (post graduate) while applicant A switches to become the dependant.
Will applicant B be qualified to apply for a psw visa at the end of his/her study and will applicant A be able to be a dependant of applicant B on the psw visa.
What do you guys think? |

Use the GW number or reference number given by ukvi and state the below in 'extra information' part of the form iboboyswag: Gurus in the house should please help... What to do?
With the pandemic in place, School says BRP can't be picked up at the appointment date and they say the wait is indefinite.
So, a quick question... How can one process a dependent visa for the spouse without the brp?
Mind you, 28 days is already counting and should become valid by early February.
Every input is valid and appreciated. |

I personally do not see any issues. We do not know what criteria universities use to judge these kinda applications but if you are worried, you can apply to other universities as well. Shayjaydenmitch: Bedfordshire university has given me a conditional admission to study Msc project management for May 2021 intake. And I added just one visa refusal letter from Canada to the application....hope they won't see it as too many immigration refusals and withdraw their admission from me...Thats my worry right now. That's why I was trying to find out the school that didn't issue CAS to that guy and how many refusal letters he applied with |
Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by Bourne007(m): 12:05pm On Jan 09, 2021 |
They can't even get such info from UK (without your consent) not to even talk of Canada. Immigration history was introduced on application forms mainly to avoid losing their licence and for compliance purposes. There's a minimum success rate required and anything short of that will be questioned (so I heard). Whether to put or not is debatable. Universities ideally do not have any reason to know these information but the fear of UKVI LOL. However, it's a MUST to declare such info for visa purposes as hardly no one gets refused for such. Someone on the previous thread had a similar issue with Rolla20 where a university declined to issue CAS but was able to get CAS from another university. So there's some double standard going on Shayjaydenmitch: so does it mean that the School in UK can't actually find out if one has actually been refused a visa in for example Canada? Because I applied to Bedfordshire university, I have been denied Visa twice from Canada, but when they asked me if I had been denied a visa in another country I ticked 'yes' and uploaded only one of the visa refusal letter instead of the two refusal letters....So I don't know if the school in UK can actually do a background check from the Canadian embassy to check this information. Please I need your answer. Cos I feel discouraged. |

@bolded .. every (wo)man's circumstances are different Just to be clear, No one needs to go through the same process as long as their is an official guideline for you to follow. These new visas only came into effect just recently and it will be difficult to actually find someone. The new rules clearly say a Tier 4 dependant can now apply in-country so I am not sure why you are looking for someone who doesn't exist. Did you manage to get admission and gotten CAS? You can definitely switch your visa alone and be on a Tier 4. Your partner who's out of the country can immediately apply to be depandant when you get your visa. If your partner happens to get BRP and back in the country, he can again switch immediately. assumpta1: Happy new year everyone. So still on this switching visa issue, can the dependent switches visa alone if the “former” main applicant is not in at the moment due to the travel restrictions. It’s a long story but brp is missing now and we don’t know how long it will take to get a replacement visa while outside the Uk. So I was wondering if the dependent can switch while in the uk without any problems and what can be done for former main applicant/new dependent. Because the issue just keeps getting complicated and no one seems to have gone through this process on the forum. @justwise @lexusgs430 @Bourne007 @Aphrodite007 @LagosismyHome |

Go to Monzo app, accounts and add to Google pay / Apple wallet which ever you use. You can then pay through that means. Chreze: Greetings,
Abeg aside from this Monzo, any other account one can open online and get card delivered to the house. The Monzo guys are yet to deliver the card and quarantine go finish tomorrow. They initially said it will be delivered between 30th n 3rd January, later I saw there was an adjustment to 31st to 4th. I want to assume it’s the holiday plus COVID. Now they are saying if I don’t receive it I should reorder another card. That’s gonna be another days again and I don’t think I can wait. I need to do some grocery/other shopping on Wednesday. If there is any bank that will let me open an account and get card instantly. I really need to have an account set up and funds transferred. Please i need suggestion for any bank in Glasgow that is ok and reasonable. Thanks

Maybe you should declare it. Your half brother would have always declared your dad during any application made to UKVI and vice versa so there's a connection if they decide to do some digging as you will fill parent details. If he's British, the form only ask for his names and nationality (No passport number required). And under 'Extra Information' on the form, you can say you are incommunicado, have no info about him and have not communicated for donkey years blah blah blah. All the best Pegzzyg: @mimilyrics, @LagosismyHome & other experienced elders in the UK! Please, I need advise & suggestions as I don't want to make a mistake (Truthfully, I have some inputs already but needs to borrow more knowledge) .... I have a Half-Brother (same Father) we don't talk per say, I am not sure the City he is now but he was born in the UK, England precisely! Mom said he used to stay with us over 30 years ago while on Holidays in Nigeria.
My question now is if to declare him in my Application or not. I wanna be very transparent in my Application but he has never acknowledged me as a Sibling, me too same, feeling is mutual, i'd say we are incommunicado & I don't even know the City he is now, we just don't talk.... Between, my Late Dad was also a British Citizen. What's your advise please? I would really anticipate & appreciate your inputs.... Thanks! |
