Btw, you’re right, nothing stops a student from being self employed. I was self employed in uni, but under an umbrella company. If a student wants to then be self employed on their own, that’s risky, however, I like experience being the best teacher. Just so you know, Your bank can call up anytime and ask for company papers and tax docs. Then you’re exposing yourself as a student to HMRC. But what do we know, you know pass us.

About paying 50% then coming to study in the UK. I had a friend who did this. He worked every damn day. He still couldn’t come up with the money to complete his fees which I ended up lending him a huge amount, then he paid back. What if your friend doesn’t have someone to lend them?

But please ignore us, we are the busy bodies that are discouraging others.

Please i need an urgent answer to this, and for people who experienced similar situation, kindly respond. I am a dependant of tier 4 visa category. When i got my visa approved, it was written NO WORK, NO BUSINESS AND NO PUBLIC FUNDS. After sending a mail i was asked to return my passport to Visa Application Centre, does anyone have this experience and how long did it take for them to return the passport. We already booked our flight! I hope i will get it back on time? Thank you for your response.

Thank you. I would have loved to apply for my spouse later but the thing is my sponsor borrowed the money and he has promised to return it at the ending of the month and I don't when such an opportunity to get that sort of amount would come by again.

Good morning everyone. I am new this thread but I need an advice on something.
I recently got admitted to a school in UK for Msc, I already started Online classes I am looking to apply for my Visa early March.
My issue is that my tuition fee is 14,700 pounds and I already paid 12,000 out of it, with the remaining tuition and living expenses I would need about 6.4m. Which I have but my husband will be applying with me and I heard I would need another 6,300 pounds for him which is about 3.4m but the total amount in the account is just 8m. Do you think I can attach a letter to my application stating that I already started online classes hence my own living expenses has reduced since I have just about 9 months to finish up.

Hello everyone, please i need a clarification on this; hubby has been on Tier 2 work Visa(3 years) since 2019.We joined him as dependents recently. He got another offer with another Employer and he's applying for another visa. The new employer provided COS that will cover us as well. Do we need to apply for visas together with him? Are our BRPs still valid despite him applying for a new Visa? Please help!!

Please guys if someone was refused visa on paragraph 9.7.1 for deception is the same thing as paragraph 320 which talks about this same thing.

Paragraph 320 said deception is 10years ban but paragraph 9.7.1 didn't talk about ban and give right to administrative review.

People who were refused visa on paragraph 320 they have 10years ban on their refusal letter but for paragraph 9.7.1 they didn't write anything like ban

Is the ban for both?

Sorry....just woke up now and the cold hasn’t been fair with me.

At the POE;
I presented my CAS, Covid test, Admission Letter and Locator form print outs. The man looked straight to the Location form at first glance and asked me the address on it...(What address will you stay at for your first 10 days in the UK?) I told him my Aunty’s place and he asked who she lives with.
He asked to confirm my School name, location and course and how many years it is.
He was looking at me while I was answering the questions.

For residential and Home address, I put my Aunty’s address in UK but I think your Nigerian address should be there.
The main thing on the Location form they want to see and ask is ; What address will you stay at for your first 10 days in the UK?

I will advice you to let her start using ur name.. you are married to her, using her surname can impose a little challenge wen she come over.

Let her passport bears ur name. Sometimes here some organization demand ur passport details for name confirmation like opening bank account, renting an accommodation even employment check list. Is better u start early to start getting every documents on the right track.

I came in since Oct 2019, and didn't know about having another TB test done when one comes in..

NHS registered and sent me my letter without any TB done.. please can you confirm or anyone confirm TB test will still be needed?

Hi Ladies and Gents,

I was able to submit my application and make payments (Application and IHS) last week. That was straight forward.

I was directed to the UKVCAS website to book an appointment date and upload documents. I have uploaded all the documents (no submitted yet) but I am unable to get any appointment date in January (core, enhanced or premium).

So my initial BRP expires in January, but the appointment for FLR biometric is in February.

Not sure if I read it here or somewhere else that what matters is that you submit the application before the expiry date but would be glad if someone can confirm.

When is it advisable to take the life in the uk test if FLR runs out in February 2022..?
I thought it use to be anytime during the duration of your FLR or has it changed?

Let me not go and give person wrong advice oh.. please help me clarify
