Dont ascrib to Mohammad what he was not and would never be. He said he was not sure what Allah would do to him at the end of his life. Do you know that? He was not even sure of his call to prophethood and that led him to giving four conflicting accounts of his call! Is that not a thing of shame for a prophet not to know how he was called? Mohammad and Jesus are not two brothers. Jesus is Mohammad's creator and came to die for Mohammad too.

If Mohammad directed you people to go and confirm his words with the bible, how dear you call the bible false? Do you dishonour your prophet by calluing him a liar or that he was not sure of what he was saying? If the quran gives authority to the bible, and not vice versa, if there is conflict between the two, which should give way? Is it not the one that has the higher authority? So, Uncle Ola, your quran should be kept aside whenever there are occassions it conflicts with the bible. ok?

Jesus read the Bible is completely false! The Bible was gathered together, not from the immediate companions of Jesus. But from people of later generations. Then it was put together, with authorship of those who gave only one name and 'according to' projection!

Does that help? Paul only claim to shed more light on the mysteries of the workings of the Holy Spirit and the relationship between Christ and the church to the gentiles.

Though Jesus did not tell of th dynamics of the gift, he sure said it was coming and it did not come in Paul's time, it came long before Paul even became converted on the day of Pentecost.

So please stop looking for confusion where there is none in the bible. It is only replete in other books but not the bible.

Christianity is not politics though we know som people that would rather crave for theocracy in this depraved world. I dont think there is any human being can head a theocracy the way God wants it. Its not even possible that in Nigeria we have a theocracy for instance when Jesus has not come.

Babs787 has also seen that it will not be safe for him to dwell on hadiths if he wants to retain the sanity of his prophet due to the absurd things the hadiths say about him like drinking camel's urine, the fly in their cup, satan in their nose, and others. On that basis they have to invalidate the hadiths. But they are caught in between their very own snars if they try to re-build Mohammad's spirituality espcially his prforming the miracles because they would need to fall back on the hadiths to fetch some moon cutting or water gushing, or night journey miracles.

They are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea; a dilema. Where can they run to now?

How can Mohammad say he was a prophet when he seized the wife of his adopted son? Do you know that the adopted son went to Mohammad to ask for his permission to divorce his wife if the prophet was indeed interest in her? He eventually had his way.

Jesus was unclean, as the blood of birth and afterbirth came with him, when his mother mary was delivering him. He was helpless as he needed to suckle him mother for nourishment and support, by which he grew and gained strenght. His knowledge did not transciend everything, because he did not know when the day of ressurrection will be. He had no power over all things. He had no power over his enemies. If I have to even use your Bible to argue about his lack of absolute power, he had no power over death. At one time, he died, thats according to your book, the Bible.

The fact that Mohammad decried himself by saying he was a mere man leaves you with no option but to believe it. It howvr does not give you the leeway to think of other prophets like that! If your prophet believes he was a mortal and could not perform miracles and was not extra-ordinary in anyway, then you should live with that and not decry other prophets who were sure of themselves and stated such without any ambiguity.

The bible says in Ephesians 2 : 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
A little elucidation needed: we actually believe that you must first accept that it is only the grace of God that saves you through the sacrifice of the cross. You come to accept that grace, confess Christ as Lord and maintain a righteous walk with God basd on that grace and his love. Our righteousness (works of giving alms, retributions, rituals and ablutions, etc) are as filthy rags before him. They are not the foundation and are not the thing that will give us salvation. Cornelius in Acts 10, did all that but God had to send Peter to him to gt him to accept the grace of God by preaching to him. The message of Christ spreads by moral suasion [/b]and not [b]sword-suasion.

I can give you verses that talks about him. In Tauba, within the last three verses, God the Almighty taked about him to mankind, especially his companions that there is in him a way of forgiveness and seeking mercy. Even the mercy of God, through the relation with Muhammad with creation, touches angels.

One thing i am praying for when God eventually calls me to start His work full time is to have the annointing of the Apostles like Peter and Paul and a few men of God of our times.

You hardly see these days a man of God preaching and people crying under the annointing being convicted of their unholy lives.
You hardly see these days a MOG preaching and miracles happening while he is just teaching/preaching without any special prayers being held -i.e., God confirming His Words with signs and Wonders
You hardly see these days MOGs declaring prophecies / visions of the Lord over cities, peoples and nations.
You hardly see these days christians with passion to go into the hinterlands to spread the gospel under all odds!

Those who are in Christ cannot be running away from Him. When I said earlier that Christ is being viewed as an angry being by the Catholics who cannot accept them when they pray to him (is it that they are so sin-conscious and are not bold enough to call upon him), they need to look for alternatives where it does not exist. They now appeal to dead people and supposedly Mary to do the pleading for them. Is that not idolatroy and a direct anti-Christ teaching?
