Bobby4090:like i said earlier, leave politics till late 2018, when the next national election will hold. One will have to be naive or simply political to expect so much from a 4 months old minister with the 2016 budget yet to be signed/approved. he has the largest chunk of allocation of the budget though, i bet there would be lots to see from him as the year progresses. I am no pr bla bla, but i like to observe things dispassionately, because emotions becloud objectivity. |
The man should be thought protected sex if he is not aware yet. You dont give birth to a baby you clearly cant take care of the BASIC needs, it is wickedness, foolishness and selfishness rolled in to one. I wont be surprised if on the child's naming ceremony he blocked the streets for celebration. He is a moronn, with no iota of planning in his veins. |
This was from June to december 2015, reforms started in between, so a breakdown will suffix. TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT started in between, i think October 2015. All in all, the report is in the best interest of Nigerians. |
3 things needed for the couple to be legally together. Daniel may have divorced his ex wife the actress 2 stella may have divorced her ex husband mr nzeribe 3 stella and daniel may have sealed their union legally in a court of law. If the 3 conditions have been fulfilled, which i doubt any one here is certain of, the case is closed. Although, ethically, daniel and stella appears wrong, especially stella, the social opprobrium favours her not. |
There was light through the midnight till the morning when it went off, i think the power issue is getting sensationalized for sinister purposes. I agree the power situation is not encouraging, but not out of the scope of performance it was in the yesteryear, i can even argue it is better now. |
i think the main news was left out, which is 9 bids has been received from firms to set up refineries at the same location 3 of Nigerian refineries are. I prefer the long term sustainable solution, and i think the bids are at least 6 months late, the bid committee should get to work already and award those competent enough to site refineries and get them running in less than 24 months. Importing and oversupplying refined oil product which the previous admin used to solve the fuel scarcity issue was not a sustainable solution, it was a wasteful and unsustainable fix . |

Fashola is 4 months old at his job, but i am certain he will do a yeomans job. He is a fantastic thinker with good attention to details. Some ignorant folks have accused him of increasing electricity tariff, but that is not his doing, the privatised discos signed a multi year tarriff order some years back with the FG, which implies gradual increase in tariff, the recent increment in tariff was due just before the 2015 election, but the then govt impressed it on the discos to suspend till after elections. From my assessment of Fasholas in his 4 months , he has a draft roadmap for the power sector 2. he has persuaded the discos to suspend service charges on consumer bills 3. he has been able to settle out of courts the protracted legal case that made 300,000 pre paid meters redundant in a ware house. this news also adds another feather to the cap of his achievements . There are definitely many other goodies in the pipeline, this is not the time to play politics of hate, national election is not holding until late 2018 or early 2019. Apc nd pdp will settle scores then. He is not the first power minister with no engineering qualification, the likes of Bola ige, liyel imoke, segun agagu e,t.c were once power ministers, but they flunked at their jobs. I bet that by the time he is 18 months on that seat, most Nigerians will say he was a round peg in a round hole. |
FG has picked Kogi and Akwa ibom state. It is easiest to generate large MW of electricity using the nuclear way than any other , however, it is the most risky. I suggest we get it done at the moment while we are grappling with power shortages, and plan to decommission within 10-15 years after operation starts, hopefully by then we would as a nation have commissioned other means of power generation that can meet /exceed the nations electric power needs |

LordVarys:If you read the article you posted, you will see that when the egyptian pounds was officially devalued, the rate for the egyptian pounds at the parallel market got worse. The moment Naira is officially devalued, it will begin to post worse performance at the parallel market than it is currently at. |
aresa:Pay no heed to that one cursing you. My basic psychology tells me she is a frustrated spinster. |
Why the wailing zombies will continue to do what they know how to do best, Mr. President will forge ahead and get the job done. two weeks ago, the director general of IAEA International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA was in aso rock, nigeria. Atlantian:you cant allow naira to the dollar to be determined by economic forces at the moment, we are clearly disadvantaged. It is like saying allowing a skinny 10 year old boy to fight bare handed with a 25 year old man. You want to know why we are disadvantaged ? Our current productive forces in the country is close to nil, we are not ready for such battle. We are a consuming nation, on what pedestal do you then begin to allow the value of naira to be determined by economic forces. We need to up our productive forces to a situation where we are not importing tooth pick, pencils, tissue paper e.t.c The moment we are no longer a monolithic economy depending virtually only on oil like a banana republic, we are good to go. |
IdiAmin2:Egypt sat back after scoring and were awaiting counter attack positions |
ironically, i enjoyed this game. Our keeper could have done better handling the shot that led to the resultant goal |

Wike's gragra is over, no more election in sight. To clear drainage go be war now. |
OlujobaSamuel:I think your understanding is deficient. Any discos still distributing fixed charge must be called out, my disco IBEDC has stopped from february. No one can give estimated billing on a PRE PAID METER. \With a prepaid meter, every households will learn to conserve power usage in their homes, thereby freeing up power for others more than the status quo. That bulb in your sitting room you leave on at daytime will most likely be switched off when you are connected to a prepaid meter. Instead of consuming say 50kwh, if you consume 35kwh, that 15kwh you conserved becomes available for others. 300,000 prepaid meters added to what is currently on ground is a lot, judging by the seeming scarcity of the prepaid meters, though i sense the scarcity is artificial. |
londoner:Some 2 months back, fixed service charge for consumers has been suspended. Distribution coys uses estimated billing in most cases, cheating consumers, as such are not interested in improved supply. Should there be meters so that the distribution coys get only what they deserve from consumers, they will sit up. i recall, it was reported some distributed coys refuse to accept supplied power from transmission end, what that implies is that they are primarily interested in profit, and they are getting it in a way detriment to the end consumers. |
over 3 thrillion in TSA , it will come in handy at 2016 budget implementation. |
Fmartin:Good, you've corrected it. Next time , read up the news for understanding before posting and assigning headline. |
Dumb op, you opened a thread you cant even read to comprehend. Benue state wants the exact opposite of your headline |
Match starts when in Nigerian time? |
Sadly, you couldnt engage him, implying you are bereft of ideas. Defend your opinion, you got missing in action. Too bad. |
Decibel: Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, has issued a clarification in response to reports that the government intends to import grass to feed cows. “This is absolutely not true,” said the Minister in a statement. |
Iykopee:Seedlings have varieties, and if it will improve yield you will source it, only wailing zombies criticise everthing to think they are doing opposition to government of the day. Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, has issued a clarification in response to reports that the government intends to import grass to feed cows. “This is absolutely not true,” said the Minister in a statement. |
There is so much raving madness going on in here, Fashola is 4 months in office, i am a firm believer in his thought process and attention to details, when he is 18 months old in that office (1 year and 6 months) you wailing zombies can troop out so we can compare scores. exactly 366 days, i voted out a govt who failed to provide stable power supply after spending thrillions on the power sector in over 5 years. Ye shameless supporters of a failed government of 5 years wants a 4 months old in office man to perform miracles. You all need brain scan. |
Op, It is not grass, but grass seeds. Grass seeds can be grown and create sustainable ranches across the country. I guess hatred makes most human beings mix facts with emotions, the result is distortion. |
Kesmakveli:really disheartening, maybe we need privatise ID Card management too, inefficiency and failure with anything government. |
Imagine registering for id cards, and it wont be ready after a year, even if it would be printed in the moon. Every simple task always appear as rocket science with government agencies. Most heads , managers and workers of government agencies deserves to have their head severed on a guillotine. Registered ID cards must be ready at most 3 months after registration. |
