mctfopt:Thank you. Victron and I have been feuding for the last 12 months so I dumped them. They are too full of themselves. The Schneider XW+ is a superior product. Outback also makes much better equipment than they do I have 1 hp water pump, 2 refrigerators and a freezer. I also run a 1 hp AC during the day and at night. |
|
SouthNigerian:I saw containers on a train going down Agege Motor road last week. I was beyond excited. Each time I hear the train I look out the window to see what it is carrying |
Where can I watch F1 in Nigeria? The DSTV package is 15k not sure I want to spend that much just to watch races. We have a group on Facebook called African lovers of F1 you should visit. The pro Hamilton fans dominate. https://web./1509045936088898/ |
BackToLife:Does you battery have an inbuilt BMS |
XhosaNostra:You are American. Yiddish Chippendales are cultural expressions. |
codemaster2much:The engine revs are fine for the speed you are traveling. You can experiment. On start off leave the transmission in 2 and watch it rev past 3k. Then manually shift to the next higher gear and it should do the same. In drive it will put you in the most best gear to maximize fuel economy. |
The gearing determines the engine speed. 3000 rpm at 80 kmh is pretty high for big displacement engines but about normal for smaller engines. I will assume it is a automatic transmission |
As a parent of three grown sons I can give you some tips. You need to be firm if you want to correct this. The instinct of the mother will always be to respond to the child. An 8 year old has no business in your bed. It is unhealthy for the child and parent. End that immediately You have a crib get a baby monitor attach it to the crib and keep the baby in a separate room. When the child wakes up tell your wife to stay you check on her. If she is dry or fed rock the crib don't pick her up. It will take a few days of doing this and she will adopt new sleeping habits |
2blockus:You are a vile disgusting human being. That is the meaning that I read into it. You are evil. You are the spawn of satan. Why slash the throat of peoples' pet? They are toms and they fight over territory. They were in the roof because that is where your rats are. You are a filthy disgusting piece of thrash |
I am sure you left out a lot of what transpired before you got home. Like the missed calls from her. You also made a choice that being with your friend was more important that spending time with your spouse and baby. People who work have no appreciation of how much effort goes into taking care of a small child. Your spouse cooks, cleans and tends to the child. She too is entitled to a break from all that work. I think that you need to spend a day alone with the child and do what your wife does to appreciate her. She had every right to be angry. You were not contrite, instead you felt that she had no right to be upset. You elected to minimize how she felt and when you had enough you battered her. You did not recognize what got you to where you found yourself. The slap was the nail on the coffin. There were other things that she was upset about. Recognize your insensitivity and selfish behavior. You failed to recognize that she worked just as hard keeping your home as you do going to work. You get a break. She does not. And when she was counting on you to come and relieve her you elected to spend time with your friends till 2 am. You are a married man what are you doing out at 2 am. Why do you think you wife does not deserve to be out with you at that time? Is she no longer your friend? The people suggesting that you be battered in return are wrong. You have in laws that have class and dignity. They also have standards and would not accept that you batter their child. Start by asking to spend time with your child. Take her for a few hours. That should give you an opening back into the heart of your lovely wife. Take her on a date without the child. Do a movie. Get a hotel room. Just the two of you no baby. Do you realize that women don't feel as attractive after they give birth. When was the last time you complimented her on her looks? Goodluck. All is not lost. If you have the desire you can fix it. |

tonididdy:There are lots of channels on YouTube dedicated to this. Invest in data. I also have videos on my channel that answer some of these questions. |
nonoski:You have a lot of PV power even with the poor weather that you have experienced in Port Harcourt. I have a client who I monitor his system and his numbers have always been better than what I see here in Lagos. He has 18kwh in lithium ion batteries. You have 14400 Kwh useable (50%). What do you consume during the night? |
earnvest:You will use a $17 bms with really thin balancing wires on a battery that size? And you will bypass the internal BMS how? Please explain. I am curious to know how you intend to accomplish that. I have a bunch of $17 bms in my office that I will give you for free after you purchase the battery. |
earnvest:Unless you know how to communicate with the inbuilt BMS avoid it. They were sold out when I looked |
DeOTR:We do we delight in majoring in minor? |
Kanade21:Dangote Group has said that Standard Chartered Bank was arranging funds for the project. “We will end up spending between $12 billion to $14 billion. The funding is going to come through equity, commercial bank loans, export credit agencies and developmental banks,” Dangote said in an interview in Lagos on Tuesday. “Hopefully, we will finish mechanical (construction) by next year and products will start coming out in the first quarter of 2020.” Nigeria’s central bank would provide guarantees for about 575 billion naira in local currency for 10 years, with African Development Bank providing a $300 million loan. Trade banks from China, India and some European countries are also in the mix, Dangote said. |
Thankful for social media and for the utility companies caring enough to tell consumers the reason behind the power outage. The solution to our power challenge will never be solved by the government. In the United States the government does not generate a watt of electricity. The government regulates and approves of rates that consumers get charged. The US enjoys a very robust capital market and the utilities use them. If you want an income paying investment you either purchase a bond or stock issued by a utility. Nigerian utilities don't have that access. The rate that utilities charge consumers are too low to make investors want to lend money to the utilities. This is the reason why the Federal Government has intervened time and time again. The consumers have very poor habits. They don't like to pay and they consume electricity that they don't use. Utilities in some instances have taken matters into their hands. They offer certain customers guarantees in exchange for higher rates and that has enjoyed some success. A nice start but we need better ideas. There has to be a collective will by us the consumers, the providers and the capital markets for the power situation to be resolved. The Government has spending priorities, the includes healthcare, Education and infrastructure. Without expanding the income collection rate and revenue base they will always struggle to meet meet ongoing obligations. Add power and you can see that the deficit gets even worse. The solution will come from the private sector. We can think Uber or even Amazon and apply lessons to power delivery. The demand exists and if we are willing to think out of the box we can make this a problem that existed only in our past. |
Creamcustard:Well said |
johnmba:It sounds like you folks burnt the bridge and expects him to erect one for your convenience. He was never close to you. He was close to the oldest. What are you calling him to talk about when you never had a relationship when you were younger? When was the last time you took a gift to him on his birthday or when he gave birth to children? Did you buy diapers when they gave birth? Did any member of the family attend baby showers or baptisms? He is suddenly family because you work in a hospital, what effort did you make to invest in a relationship when you were younger? Did your family ever apologize to him or his wife for your treatment of her? You obviously are not as superior as you all believed abi? Your older brother that got a gift what did he ever give to his nieces or nephews as gifts from an uncle on their birthdays? When was the last time you took them out? What relationship have you attempted to establish with the kids? You are talking about you and what the others needs? Talk about what you have done for a change. |
johnmba:Why are they wondering? If it bothers them that much why don't they help you? They should be paying it forward instead of engaging in silly talk. They are showing themselves as ingrates and undeserving of help. And why is it your business who he helps? You should also ask yourself why you are working at a hospital if you are an engineering major. Being a manager does not mean one makes a hiring decision. You folks get it wrong with your expectations of a salaried individual. He is a salaried employee with real time expenses. |
Ps she has treated infection often and on but this smell is what i dont understand.doctors should help too. Why is it that the smell refuse to go away because she bathes morning and night(rule while growing up in our house)[/quote]I am sure your mother herself is embarrassed by the smell. One of the reasons she bathes frequently. Get her to a good gynecologist. Tell her, it is part of her routine exam. Let her get a mammogram while she is there. Please find a woman gynecologist, Someone with empathy. There are many different things that cause odor. It does not necessarily have to be hygiene. It could also be hormonal. As a non medical professional I suggest you take her to a good doctor. She has endured the insult and pain from this for a very long time. Your father has not helped either. Help her end the misery in a very humane and dignified manner. |
Saipro:How recent is the firmware? Thanks |
funken:I have the Victron and I have the same issue too. I also use the Conext MPPT 60 150 and it does not have the issue. My lithium ion batteries don't get fully charged with the Victron. It goes into absorbtion and float very quickly. Raise your float voltage and see if it helps. |
I need a cover for the junction box of a 300 Watt solar panel. Thank you |
Letter from David Alsina for Victron after he asked YouTube to pull down one of my videos. If you are using Fangpusun he feels he has the right to go after you as a user. The first strike was on my XTM video. He is the same fool that told me that Victron will not sell Lithium Ion batteries to Africa or Nigeria. Write him and give him a piece of your mind. email dalsina@victronenergy.com phone number +34 672 65 91 66 Hi Christopher, I am the sales manager for Nigeria and all communication should go to me. Selling and promotiing fake copies of our technology is a serious fraud, we will continue to take all necessary legal actions. This may include taking legal action against your company, maybe not in Nigeria but sure in the US where there is protection against counterfeit products. We are not sparing any efforts or expense in this matter, this is driven from Victron Energy owners. You have to balance what is most intelligent for you to do. To sell these products will only damage your reputation and your pocket. I ask you again, as I did, to stop selling and promoting illegal products. I believe you are smarter than that. The Quattro has 2 AC inputs and 2 AC outputs. Even if you do what you are thinking about, only one of the two will work. It looks at the most qualified and that is what it uses. I am guessing at what you are driving. olopan: |
You need three inverters to make it happen. Each inverter will represent a phase. olopan: |
