According to multiple reports on Facebook, some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB were attacked today by soldiers after storming the residence of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Many people were allegedly shot.

Igbo must not be deceived by the yoruba propaganda of "north using Igbos" which is targeted at breaking the north's relationship with the SE. Negotiations of Igbo political future in Nigeria must be with the north, nothing more,nothing less.Indeed, i shall personally write all Ohaneze Chieftains to reconsider the now irrelevant stance of not accepting the vice presidential position from the north. What PDP must focus on now as it's utmost priority is to retain power.

PDP is the biggest and only truly national political party in Nigeria. That advantage must spur them now to go indoors and do some serious political re-engineering and re-alignment of political forces. Before PDP begin to map out which subregion must produce what key position, they must secure 2 critical agreements.

1. Persuade President Jonathan to cede his right to run as President for re-election in 2015 to Vice President Namadi Sambo

2. Beg the South east to accept the Vice President position for 2 strategic reasons. Which are, only the PDP can guarantee an Igbo President and someone who is a Vice President for 8 years will have got enough political clout to do it,than just anyone who is picked from nowhere.

The rest of the political re-engineering to retain power can follow as soon as these two critical pieces have been secured.

I would expect those coming from behind to learn from the lessons of those in front, some of whom were swallowed into sink holes along the path.

The security of a nation is partitioned into two areas - External Defense; Internal Defense.

External Defense is supervised by Ministry of Defense. This is a strategic and operations post.

Internal Defense is supervised by Ministry of Interior. The responsibility is formulate strategy and procedures.

There is a Presidential Adviser that ties the two together under the umbrella of National Security. The National Security Adviser is a policy officer in matters of National Security.

Kanu's shenanigans is domestic affair and fall directly under supervision of Ministry of Interior but dotted line to National Security.

That Ministry is headed by a former Army General, Dambazau.

National Security is headed by Babagana Monguno, a former Army General.

The Commander in Chief, Buhari, is truly a Commander, both nominally and substantive.

So on the Nigerian side we have three Army Generals that will supervise and manage the Biafran/BSS issue.

On Biafran side there is no single Army General. Those who could give support are receiving monthly retirement paycheck from Kanu's enemy, Nigeria, thus their lips are sealed,they can only be Biafrans in spirit, not in words or action.

Power nations that hold influence in UN and can invoke travel restrictions and trade sanctions to make Nigeria behave are also same nations that benefit massively from sale of weaponries of war and export mercenaries into wars of strategic energy interests.

War machines are never authorized for sale to non-conventional Armies. The artillery machines and inventories used by Biafra in 67 were machines Ojukwu took over as Northern soldiers and Yoruba soldiers were ordered out of Biafran territory and all they left with were the guns hanging on their shoulders.

Where is Kanu going to get artillery and demolition machines to fight Nigeria?

The big powers will give their verbal endorsements to Kanu, this is the norm. The underdog must be morally supported....but the policies must be tilted in favor of his enemy.

Some people have taken events in North East as a weakness and that Buhari is incapable of ending Bokoharam. Its untrue! Buhari is capable of wiping out boko in under a week. He has not for various reasons, amongst them -

1 - He has sentimental attachment to the Kanuris and is devoutly Northcentric.

2 - He is a farmer and very concerned about land conservation, particularly the arid North, which is what most of NE is. One of his first mission after taking office was to ask for report of the Chad Basin Water Study conducted under Obasanjo Adninistration.

3 - In destroying bokoharam he does not want to destroy the artifacts and civilization of El Kanem. In wiping out bokoharam he wants also to raise a new parallel Army....an Army of Islam that go to combat for Northcentric ideas.

They successfully converted Civilian vigilantes and volunteers into enrolled soldiers on Nigerian payroll.

So they are meticulous, painstakingly preserving the good bokoharam and killing off the bad bokoharam. The good bokoharam will also get conversion and wear Nigerian Army uniform.

Just look athe Fulani herdsmen....they are an Army. A doggone parallel Army! Security look the other way and dont see them when they commit murders but quick to show up and protect them when besieged by angry victims.

Look at what happened in Ile-Ife. Years of insults and assaults absorbed with great restraint at different hot spots across Yorubaland, IGP never showed up... but just one strike from the Yorubas in Ife and now Yorubas are wicked and are criminals and we have to lock them up.

The North has not completed its plans...its in progress. When completed any region that raises the issue of restructuring or secession will have a contingent of this future Northcentric Army to contend with.


So, really, at this juncture it will be suicidal to dare and block Kanu arrest when they come for him. They are not coming on foot. They will bring machines. Not only will they arrest Kanu, they will declare state of emergency and use martial law to go door to door, under night curfews, to suppress and kill off the Biafra mission, possibly for another 50yrs or longer.


Kanu has two options
1 - enter Cameroon and operate discreetly from there

2 - find a country with non-extraditing agreement with Nigeria and go live there,commanding Biafra from offshore.


Those who are serious about getting out must do so now before the Northcentric Army of Islam is fully operational. Those who want to remain must force restructuring asap and relate with the North at arms length.

And More recently, President Buhari special advisers was sent to negotiate with Arewa youths, whose action of illegal quit notice was nothing short of treason. Even Vice President Osinbajo spoke with the so called Arewa youths.
But President Buhari has never deemed it necessary to douse tension caused by Biafra agitation with dialogue, instead he is opting for a military solution with a view to taunting the East. It's a clear case of prejudice and must be condemned. President Buhari must be called to order.
The leaders of Eastern region must make it clear to Buhari that his military actions and use of forceful languages are no longer against IPOB but against the whole of East and that he is toeing a very dangerous line. Perhaps, Buhari think that he can create Borno devastation in East in the name of fighting IPOB.
