hello friend. Let me tell you the truth. You are not a bad person if you were to be, you would have told and even block her . but you have a conscience ... you know it will be painful for her. Brother just man up and tell her.... she will cry and feel bad but she will get over it. This is better than you cheating on her and she finding out or you treating her badly... that will be more painful. So just tell her ... explain everything to her..

I want to switch back to what i studied but i am confused. Last month i went for an interview on the island, after the interview, the HR of the company told me that he would advise me to go back to the east and practice my profession because surveying is very lucrative there. On that note, he didnt give me the job haven passed the interview.

The HR said he too studied surveying and he is regretting why he didnt practise but advices people who studied same to go practise.

Because of this, I am now thinking if maybe i am wasting my time in what i do since what i studied as he said is lucrative.

Please i need advise on what to do.

Well your story is a pathetic one truth be told. You know the truth your mind is telling you what it is. but you don't want to face it.. if you don't face it now you will face it later on... with all what you have said, she does not seem like a decent girl . but I hope you are also a decent guy because you attract who you are... She is probably cheating... She caring and begging is just that she loves you but she can't stay faithful.... nobody wants a girl like that.

Is like people don't even try to help themselves anymore...not even to save their own lives. The effort to get up and get out is too great..... not even to go to the responsible office to confront the person in charge so action will be taken. It's soooo much easier to press buttons.... letter after letter tweet after tweet email after email....not even to hold meetings to discourage residents from dumping garbage in the canal. Community self help effort to clean the canal and avoid flooding? ......noooooooo!...somebody else must come and help! Funny people.

It is an accumulated problem.... The canal is a big one, we have hired labourers and they have done their best. Imagine a canal as big as the third mainland bridge Road now became blocked to the extent it is now as small a street gutter.... It is a big canal not a small.... we have done our best if not the situation would have been worse ...

We have done our best... hired labourers they have done their but it needs government intervention. There is also a sabotage...farmers who uses the farm for farming along that Alapere estate road are sabotaging any effort coming from the government.

My fiancee and I have been in a relationship for 5 years now. I met her since she was in secondary school. We both love each other and she is very nice, loving and supportive too.

We have talked and started planning on settling down and that should before the end of the year but I am beginning to have a second thought.

The problem is not my fiancee but her mom. The woman is very nice and welcoming but lately, she did something that I am not comfortable with. Last week she sent me a text asking for financial assistance. That her daughter (my fiancee) is yet to pay her house rent at school and that my fiancee younger brother is yet to pay his registration fee. And so she had asked me to loan her some amount before the end of the month when she will remit it. That she considered me a son and that's why she confided in me. I later sent her SMS that I don't have anything.

I was like why would she asked me for loan when her daughter never asked for one naira in our Five years of relationship? So my fear is, should I marry her daughter, wont she trouble me with further demands? Please is there anyway around this? Please what do I do?
