Hello Doctors in the house. I have a pressing issue that I want the advise of qualified medical practitioners on this great forum on. please, I really need your candid advise on this issue. For the sake of being anonymous, I had to created a new account to post this.

I'm married to the best woman in the world and we are blessed with a baby boy almost 4 years ago. I left the country and didn't return until after 3 years. We are trying to have another baby but it seems not working. We tried everything we could, yet, she cant get pregnant. My wife is very good at calculating her ovulation period and I'm not a 1-minute man either.

Now to what I need the advise on. Since the very first month after I returned, she was having some signs of pregnancy. She gets tired easily, her breasts were tender and each time she wore bra, she complained of discomfort. These are some of the symptoms she had when she was pregnant with our first child. We were happy and waiting on conducting preggy test, hoping for a positive result. Lo and behold, it was negative. We thought maybe it was too early for such test, we did the test again 4 days later, it was still negative. A couple of days later, her menstrual period came. We were devastated but we didn't lose hope.

After her period, we seek a medical advise on how to boost our chances of conceiving and we carried them (advise) out to the letter. Mind you she was still having the symptoms that I described earlier and it even got worse that she started having mild morning sickness. Fast forward, the day she was suppose to see her period came and she didn't see it. We were happy that maybe, God has finally answered our prayer only for her to see blood the following day. The period was heavy and it lasted 7 days, 3 more days than what she normally had. We became worried about the prolonged menstruation and didn't know what to do. Prior to her having the period, for about 3 days, she was having difficulties urinating. Each time she was to urinate, she experiences an excruciating pain inside her vagina for the whole period the urine is coming out and once she's done urinating, the pain stops. It went on like that until the period came and the pains stopped.

Just this month, while the pregnancy symptoms persisted, she had her period again. But this time around, the period was delayed for about 3 days. It came heavy for 2 and half day and then stopped only to return 2 days later with another round of heavy flow which lasted for 1 day. All this period, we kept on carrying out preggy tests, thinking maybe she was pregnant. We just did blood test for pregnancy today and it came out negative as well.

Doctors, please what should we do at this stage?. Its getting out of hand and I just want my wife to be OK. Even if the baby(ies) do(es) not want to come now, all I need right now is to have my wife healthy and confident again.

I know some people will say Nairaland is not a hospital, yes I know but I still want to seek opinion of different people on the issue.

Have you asked yourself the question I want to ask you?
For the 3years you were away from her...who serviced her?
Are you trying to tell me for the 3years nobody treated her sores?
I really doubt that.

Some tribe's deities frown against wife-adultery and offenders are punished with childlessness.
This could be the spiritual cause.

Anxiety could also be a factor....when you are so eager for something; it rarely happens and once you take it off your mind, it comes naturally.
This could be the psychological cause.

It could also be the Lord seeing your future and helping you plan. The country is in a recession, don't you think one child is good enough?
Some people don't even have any. You have one yet you are complaining.
This could be the economical cause.

When you were away from the country were you promiscuous? It's possibly you were and contracted an STI that has made you sterile.
Or you were very rough and have used up your own 15litres of Semen.
This could be the biological and physiological cause.

You can only be sure via one way.
Get a sidechick and see if you are still fertile.
Or get a trusted ally to sleep with your wife when she is most fertile..(the day her 'egg white' is transparent and most stretchy)
Either way, you'd have another child.

What's the fuss anyway? If you're so desperate, you can go to an orphanage and adopt a baby or ask your wife to visit a baby factory at Umungasi in Abia.
This is the logical option.

Good day all, I really want your sincere views or experience on the issue of dating a lady in her early 20's. I met a girl aged 20 has finished OND and just going for internship two months back and she seems to be the right person for me, her maturity, concerns and love shown have been commendable. Am 28 and would love to have her as a wife but my fear is if she wouldn't change from this good,homely responsible girl as she grows older.
I on my part will never cheat on her as I strongly uphold the one boy one girl relationship.

My girlfriend whom I thought would be patient enough for me so I could get married to her has broken up with me.
I met her while I was writing my final year project in Yabatech about 4 years ago. We were cool together and the distance between us didn't mean that much to me even though she stays in ikorodu and I stay in surulere. The problem started when I gained admission to Unilag due to my decision for self development. I'm 31 years old and she is 25.
During the last 2 years I noticed she has changed drastically I notice that she now has stuffs like new shoes and new bags. Which of course ordinarily she wouldn't have been able to afford. The only time we see is on weekends and that's because she is still in Yabatech schooling and sometime when she comes like that she acts funny with phone calls. The way she talks to some certain people so suspicious. But none the less she always feels cool with me and always wants to be around me. Could it be because of sex?

I noticed that she behaves single at school and even on social media. We do not chat or use social media, we added each other but at a point I had to take her off because she doesn't portray any thing that shows we are actually dating...i took her off all platform of social media and she wasn't perturbed about it. I don't actually know what's going on in school or her place of residence but I have a very strong feeling that she has been cheating on me and some other guy have been buying her things I can't get for her. But on top of this she was actually looking for school fees and I was deploying all methods to make sure she pays this on time and that alone made me confused!. We had a heated argument on Sunday and she was yelling and talking back at me... I left the house for her in annoyance only for me to come back and she is gone. She left a note that says that she is no longer interested. Guys please what should I do. I love this girl so frigging much. I can't sleep or think straight right now. It's almost impossible for me to start all over again. I feel hopeless. Please guys your advice!

We've actually dated for like 4years now and our traditional wedding is coming by November, she is the nicest girl and the love of my life, but her only shortcoming is that she nags alot.

But recently since we started planning for our TM i noticed she has suddenly changed to this warm and charming lady, unlike before where she quarrels about everything.

Last week Sunday i promise i was going to visit but Man United was playing against Chelsea so i decided to stay back and watch the match and did not turn up until monday evening, while i was thinking she was going to bring hell down on me she just smile and said 'i know you love football and i heard your team Man Utd won, congratulations dear'. I did not believe what my ears were hearing.

And today i did not call her all through, was very busy at work, she just called me now and said 'dear what happened today no call and no chat, i have really miss you'.

My people am so scared because am use to her nagging me it makes me able to predict her, but this new charming attitude is beyond me i dont understand her anymore.

I have ask her which movie or book she has been reading all she does is smile and tell me she loves me. she has become so romantic.

Last year was a very rough year for me until september when I managed to get a security job( gateman as the kids do call me) in one primary school in lagos( I had to take the job because iv been jobless for 3years after I graduated), but each time I sit at that gate opening and closing for pupils, parent and teachers , I always felt a part of me is being wasted, so I decided that I must always send at least two applications per day( just like I hav bn doing since I graduated).

As fate will have it, I was called for an interview for a particular post I av always loved to occupy( an account officer), I prepared for the interview like I was preparing for my ICAN Diet Exam.

Well, to cut the whole story short, I received my employment letter yesterday with a very favourable working conditions except for not too fat salary( which I'm still quite comfortable with because its double my previous salary as a security man).some stories are inspring. Thumbs up



Please, Let us all learn to leave the comfort of our house when searching for job, don't stay idle, do anything until you finally get that dream job. I wish every other person looking for job good luck in their search for better jobs.

Which kain yawa b dis naa. Something similar happened in my village then. They guy got the news while they were already inside the church. He got angry and collected the microphone and ask if any lady will like to marry him right there. Luckily enough for him one fine girl stood up and her parents follow her up to the alter and gave their blessings. The dad requested for just 10k as dowry, which the guys family provided it right there inside the church and the pastor prayed for them. The food and drinks was served immediately after the prayers and the couple travelled to down to Lagos the next. Only visible home five years later with 3kids two boys twins a fine girl. The lady con fine eeeeh.....
