Do you hold innocent northerners responsible for giving “credible intelligence” for the arrest of northern terrorists? Sometimes people are just living their lives and shouldn’t be expected to do the jobs of security officials

Want to speak of hypocrisy, you should look in the mirror

ayusufnotes:
Y'all hypocritical b@stards!
If the civilians had given credible intelligence, that attack could have been averted.
You are pained because the harm caused by the NA affects you. I have been looking a post where you condemned the attack by UGM on NL but I have seen none!
The families of the deceased security me should do what exactly? come here and rant too?
You b@st@rds of a people!

This is something I don’t understand. They know how to differentiate between northern innocents and armed bandits but can’t do the same between innocent easterners and armed vagrants. Make it make sense

TERRORIST ACT THAT WILL EARN THEM MORE ENEMIES.

THEY DONT DO THIS IN THE NORTH, DESPITE THOUSANDS OF THEM KILLED THERE.

A TERRORIST WILL ALWAYS GO AFTER VULNERABLE ARMLESS INNOCENT VICTIMS.

No for real what actually happened? Not everyone knows. I just have disjointed bits but no full picture.

I heard he bullied the dead guy. But that’s about what I’ve heard. Kindly fill me in. Did they have a fall out? Was it over music or something else? What about the other guy that’s being mentioned (Zino). What did he do?

some people in naija still drive bentleys despite the hardship. what percentage though ? there are about 1 million nigerians in the UK, the number of them who can afford to travel is less than 50 thousand. we see the same people from uk every year at detty december. not even up to 10000 people
maybe people you know don’t come back but the people I know do.

but to your other question, UK jobs are notoriously known for paying low wages. Even nurses are demonstrating to get a livable wage. So if you want to save for ticket money from UK wages ? More power to you and good luck
But people in uk still travel home. Some even travel home multiple times a year. What are you even talking about?

They keep talking to us like we are ediots but they are taking any chance they have to establish themselves and their children abroad while guilting the youth into a patriotism that they themselves do not feel.

The currency devaluation is the biggest motivation.

A bank manager in 2015, with a take home of 1.5 million, is indirectly having a take home of 10k usd cos dollar was 150. It will be harder to convince him to leave and start afresh in a new country where he may not easily build himself to a point where he can take home the same 10k usd monthly after many years in the country self.

Fast forward to 2023...manager pay in same banks remain between 1.5 to 2m monthly, that is about 2k usd. And u wonder why even those you think are on top of the food chain in the corporate workforce are leaving ti start afresh. Those who did what they did to the naira that made it slide from 150 to 900 over the last 8 years need to be jailed

Are you saying that if people migrate legally to uk, they can’t leave for another decade because of papers?

I think you must be referring to illegal migration. In that case fix your topic to match the real issue.
I don’t believe a legal migrant to uk can’t come and go as they please or can afford to

sukkot:
So this topic has to be explored because I know many people personally under this category. Now I don’t know about other countries but let’s focus on the UK for this topic.

I know that unless you are extremely lucky it is going to take you between 10 to 15 years to fully settle in terms of papers and money and career and housing etc. in between that time you are running from pillar to post and the silent prayer is that God please don’t let my mother or father fall sick within this 10 to 15 year timespan or else I am most likely never going to see them again.

Well I have many friends and relatives who this happened to. In that time span that they are still unsettled and looking for paper or money, mama get cancer for naija. They are stuck abroad. Mama eventually die. So they never got to see their mother for over 10 years and will never see her again.

So I guess the question is if you find yourself in a situation like this, being in the UK for over 8 years and papers never correct so you are stuck, then you hear that your mother is dying.

WHAT DO YOU DO? DO YOU ABORT MISSION AND RETURN BACK TO NIGERIA TO BE WITH YOUR DYING MOTHER KNOWING YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO RETURN TO THE UK AGAIN OR DO YOU JUST FASHI MAMA AND LET HER DIE WHILE YOU CoNTINUE YOUR QUEST TO LOOK FOR PAPERS AND POUNDS ? What would you do?

Family › Re: Over 25% Of Tested Men In Nigeria Aren’t Biological Fathers – DNA Report by cococandy(f): 6:03pm On Sep 14, 2023
They encourage men to sleep around because they are “polygamous” and somehow they are shocked that this the result. When there’s no surplus of women to go around, they invariably have to share their women with other men since one is not enough for a real man who is not a “simp”. This is simple math.

The way I can’t even pretend to have any sympathy for a polygamous man who’s affected by this. I hope they all get one or two kids fathered by other men.

The few faithful men are exempt. God help them

Kobojunkie:
Caaz/Ahnie, come see the result that is the damaged culture of marriage in Nigeria abeg! As una dey tell people make dem remain in unhappy marriages rather than choose divorce and peace of mind, going as far as to advise men to indulge in adultery and hookup culture, you invariably fuel paternity fraud and babymama culture. Let's not forget that you also reward the prostitution and hookup industry in Nigeria which you would like to complain about. So much for the moral uprightness of the Nigerian people. grin

I bet you the majority of those who conducted the test for supposed "peace of mind" are themselves adulterers. Imagine wanting peace of mind when you don't know how to give it. grin

Depends on the territory of
Canada in question.

Generally, both have average yearly
temperatures of less than 10° Centigrade.

In Nigeria when were temperatures
can rise up to 45° in some locations,
when we get temperature of 25°, people go begin wear sweater upandan.😁

True
But I’m not saying it’s not cold, I was implying (based on your comparison) that if Nigerians can survive Canada, they can flourish in Iceland

I know a lawyer with her own practice and a bank manager (both women) that left and are working as CNAs (not RNs) in California. Union hospital, so it’s better pay than regular hospitals however they are nursing assistants nonetheless and they BOTH say it was the best decision they ever made.

A lawyer with her own practice and a bank manager!. Honestly that shook me to my core to realize how bad things have become. At least it’s gotten very bad for some people. So I won’t advise anyone on what to do. If I knew them before they left, I would have said “don’t leave your prestigious job for assistant job in the hospital”. But they both confirmed it was a great decision for them. I guess everyone’s story can’t be the same

STORY 2
my neighbors son was robbed last month, august 2023,
he was fortunate to reach out to me, and others, and we were able to inform the police to go to his estate
this was around 1am

the police went to the estate,
arrested everybody in the estate,
in the middle of the night
accused the tenants of having an insider amongst there midst
threatened to shoot them all if they don't confess
beat them all mercilessly

we bailed him that night for 150k.
we bailed the person that called the police for help, for 150k
the others who couldn't pay slept in station for days

STORY 3
in 2019, i was robbed in my house,
my phone was stolen
i hid my drone and other valuables
the phone was worth about 60k
i went to the police station (kala police station, ikwerre road)
the police asked me for 100k to 'start investigations'
i was perplexed, and queried the reason behind this
the police threatened to 'deal with me' and arrest me for making 'false report'
a state commissioner came into the police station with some people he had arrested with his personal police security
all the police men left me to hail him, he dropped some money for them as well as the people he arrested
i ran out of the police station

STORY 4
the former governor of bayelsa state. alameseigha, a multi billionaire died in UPTH
because they had to drive him a very long distance to the hospital, if i remeber correctly, from bayelsa to rivers state
a billionaire!
for something that in 'the abroad', an ambulance would have been ready in minutes,
he drove for hours

STORY 5
when we had my 2nd child, she fell ill at 4days and we rushed her to UPTH Uniport
we stayed there for about 2 weeks at SCBU
i saw a man and his wife lose one of their twins, and a cleaner, not a doctor, not a nurse, a cleaner
came out and met the man with a list of things to buy fro the pharmacy and said
oga one pikin don die, go buy these things before the 2nd pikin die
i knelt down at the car park that night and cried to God that nothing should ever take me to any teaching hospital in Nigera

i saw mothers abused, cursed by doctors and nurses
these same doctors will travel abroad and behave completely differently
