The problem is not being both drunk. If the woman told you she did it while drunk, the guy should use all in his arsenal to bury the case. Although in most cases, what the lawyers are after is the level of toxity which is very hard to get. But our bros hand is too sharp to type and post. He cleared that doubt and complexity by admitting both were indeed drunk.

Assuming the lady took him to court, he could argue she gave her consent before they became drunk and this is a good case or that they were not really drunk.

There are two people who have primary interest in this case (the woman and the doctor). You can't believe either of their stories just like that.

Even a judge cannot just take sides just from reading Twitter or Facebook posts of two people who both have equal interests in a case. That is why we have lawyers to present the case as best as they can before a judge who will then make the final decision.

My own argument all this while is that people should only speak through their lawyers. Let your lawyer do the speaking for you because if you do so yourself, you may create holes in your defense.

That getting drunk part of the doctor's post can be exploited by a good lawyer .

In laws of most country, a drunk man is no defence in court at all.

Normally if u read that link I provided, what constitutes problem when a lady say she did it without consent is how to determine the level of intoxity. Our bros made it very easy by saying both were drunk.

He should go and beg. He should have consulted a lawyer before hastily releasing that implicating evidence.

Maybe "ruined my life" was a bit of an exagerration, that was mostly so people would check out the thread. It definitely ruined my relationship with not only her, but my Dad as well, because since she said what she said i just couldn't stand the sight of my own Dad anymore. There was a time not long after the accusation when he was talking to me and Dad tried touching me on my arm and i just freaked out, i almost jumped away. It might sound funny, but it really wasn't funny to him, he was just shocked and confused as hell, but i couldn't tell him coz i thought it would only destroy the family, so i just shouldered the burden. It didn't affect my sexuality, but it held me back academically and in life. I was isolated because i had no one to talk to.

. He suspects you're talking about him to.other people.Is it just you? Does he think neighbors/other people are talking about him too? Why does he think so?

. Is he reading too much meaning into ordinary things and making connections that don't seem to make sense to you?

.Does he think people are out to get him and do him harm?

Who else does he think is spying on him and how has he come to this conclusion?

Does he think people are hearing the thoughts in his head or trying to extract information from his head?

Have you seen him talking to himself or to people who you cannot see?

How about pointing out things that you can't see?

Does he seem scared and afraid ?

Does his speech make sense to you or does he seem to be rambling on about stuff,talking too many things at the same time?

How is his hygiene? Has he stopped caring for himself or his surroundings?

You can get this information from him and try to be understanding and not confrontational just to have an idea about what he's experiencing

Most importantly,when did you notice any changes or has he always been this way?

You may have to consider that your brother sounds like he is unwell not possessed and is starting to be more paranoid? Your answers may guide us all a bit better to help see what the best solution is from here?
