A woman or a man can’t just decide they won’t work if their partner doesn’t agree with that.

A woman or a man who makes that decision on their own when their spouse hasn’t agreed to be the sole breadwinner is setting the marriage up for failure.

He has to work if that’s what she wants and if he knew that before marrying her. I won’t have respect for a woman who decides to be a house wife when she knowingly marries a man who wants a working wife. Why should his case be different?

A Nigerian man that claims he wants to be a house husband is usually a scam. He’s probably looking for someone to do everything for him.
If he’s a real house husband, he will cook and clean and go to the market for the family, take care of the children, do laundry for his wife , make sure her food is ready when she comes home from work etc.
Show me a Nigerian man that will do all that while the wife provides for the family without feeling like he’s become emasculated.

Nothing wrong with that arrangement if both agree to it but it’s statistically hard to see such an arrangement between Nigerians where the woman ain’t putting in 80% of the total work. Scam
