There is no such thing as an XLE limited. This is an XLE! Simple! |
The guy looked like a proper Yahoo boy back then!! |
What NIGERIA needs is as follows, though not limited to the below: 1. Increase minimum wage to like N50k. 2. Keep the wages of those from say level 8 and above constant. 3. Reduce staff strength by about 30-40%. Unless we kid ourselves most of those who work in government are very unproductive. The savings can be used to fund minimum wage increase. 4. Deregulate petrol prices. 5. Deregulate electricity prices 6. Privatize or concession airports, railways, sea ports and key inter state expressways like Lagos- Ibadan, Sagamu - Benin, Abuja - Kaduna, Port Harcourt- Enugu. 7. Privatize refineries. 8. Sell abandoned FG properties in Lagos and other cities - Federal secretariat Ikoyi, Defence House Marina, Maman Kontagora House Marina etc 9. Let Federal universities set their fees as is commensurate to their cost. Brilliant students unable to pay should be given loans which they pay back when they start to earn income. This can be tracked with BVN, NIN. Too many people who shouldn't be in university are there. 10. Massive training of teachers nationwide to improve quality of primary and secondary university. 11. Compulsory, qualitative primary and secondary education for all children. While primary will be free, secondary will be compulsory but not free. 12. Reduce useless and unproductive federal agencies. Nigeria has agencies that add no value. All they do is pay salaries and maintain DG's, but contribute little to the country. If Channels TV, AIT etc are surviving by themselves, why do we need NTA to be funded by FG. Think how many people we are paying salaries to under NTA. if NTA cannot support itself, then it should be scrapped. Ditto FRCN |
Linda should please stop showing us these fat, rippled thighs. |
king1234:You be sharp guy? |
Well done. Maybe na me go buy the next one. March inflow loading! |
How does a MILLITANT who has done grave DAMAGE to this countrys economy and who has KILLED people become a TRADITIONAL ruler!!?? |
anthony86:Totally agree!! We really love to stick our heads in the sand in Nigeria, blindly holding on to the way things were in the past! Population of Nigeria now and 1960 na the same? Number of children in school and university na the same? Number of people requiring electricity na the same? Number of appliances in a typical house na the same? Number of mouths to feed na the same? Pressure on roads na the same? However, crude oil production na the same! In fact price of oil has actually come down in real terms. What $1bln would build or finance in 1960 will cost maybe $6bln today. Not to mention we have soooo many more states now, with sooooo many more staff, wasting money on paying unnecessary salaries. Yet we want more infrastructure and everything to be paid for and the same price of yesteryear? Agreed there is corruption, but unfortunately the fact that leaders of the past have been corrupt and incompetent means we have a deeper hole to climb out of with less resources to do so? If you wait for govt, you go wait tire. Only way is to privatise and let the market create the efficiency. |
PHIPEX:Its even WORSE to do nothing and continue to import!! So this is a case of half bread being better than none |
alawi5k:. Even if PmB is not corrupt, that doesn't make him competent!! |
mushystuff:See what enjoying government money and privileges can do to the mind of a well educated man!! You would think that by now this chap would have resigned! He has become totally invisible in this government. |
Is this airline actually operating in Nigeria yet? I am never excited when we have this type of "we PLAN to set up...", "we will SOON start operations...." statements. |
Waste of money. In less than one year almost 50% of these cars will be nowhere to be found. In two years, that will increase to about 90% nowhere to be found. |
How. Much tax is this e. Money playing sef. |
What is celebrity about her?? As far as I'm concerned she isn't all that pretty anyway, just fair and uses a lot of make up. You can tell she'd look terrible early in the morning before make up. |
Story!! Danfo wilm break the law a million times yet they will never be fined! |
When is the debate!!? |
This na common Haven homes na |
Try selling it first, then you'll know the true value! I had a land that was 'valued' at N23mln in Port Harcourt After 3years of trying to sell it I sold it for N16mln. |
TheAngry1:If my sexual orientation is with animals, is that okay too? |
Look at how a housing complex has so much greenery and vegetation!! All our plenty estates in Lekki, are just concrete jungles. The dedicate just a single space to green area, but around the buildings? Na lie!! Genevieve makes me remember Gabrielle Union!! |
Guestlander:ordinarily that's what It should mean, but with this government you just never know. If the government is going to maintain the train service then trust me it will never work. However if it's going to be managed by the private sector then I can envisage that at some point there will be a time where you actually can live in ibadan and work in lagos |
kennys:Well said. I find it shocking that so many Nigerians say they are tired of corruption, want a better nigeria, yet will still vote either PDC or apc and say they don’t want their vote to waste!!! We are a very shallow and hypocritical people indeed. The truth is that we condemn it from outside but many people wish they can also enter there and hammer their own and safeguard their own family, while everyone else can go to hell or come and be lining up by their gate, carrying bag for them and saying oga this and oga that. I’m not say that anyone should necessarily vote Oby, but if you are really desirous of change then vote a candidate outside of pdp and apc and let your voice be heard. Your vote is not wasting!!! |
I doubt the authenticity of this story. We all know one of the biggest things we import is petroleum products, which has got more expensive. So how could our import bill have fallen so drastically. Unless he means only food items, then I might believe him. |
I'm curious. Does the building have central air conditioning? And I hope there is plenty of space for parking with multiple entry and exit points. Let this church not start causing traffic on the Abuja Airport road. |
Mizwisdom:You call what we have now improvement!!? |
krattoss:We ain't no giant of Africa!! |
Many of the guys who sell cars are into fraud. Where do they suddenly raise capital from to invest in all these cars. What they park in the shops is up to N500mln. Where did it come from? |
All said and done, it doesn't look very different. |
greyham:Not necessarily though. There is always a time lag between fall in crude and impact on pump price. The diesel landing in lagos today was refined weeks ago and based on crude price negotiated weeks before that as well. If crude stays stable at $60,then expect diesel prices to come down in the next 1 to 2 weeks. This phenomenon occurs in US, UK and elsewhere. And to be fair, diesel was as low as N150 at some point last year. |
Diesel price should quickly follow suit. At $60 diesel should be in the N200 to N210 range. |
