Plenty actually! Your President will likely not be below 60. There are many people with legitimate business of 40years behind them that can drop N100M.

There are even people who have worked salaried jobs of 30years that can afford that.

If you are an Ed in Zenith, GTB and other top banks, you can you think they won't have up to N500mln to N1bln?

I know a guy who is an ED in a capital firm you have never heard of that has a N400mln house in Nicon Town Lagos.

I know someone who is a Partner in PwC, who get annual bonus of about N100mln. If this person is in that position for 5+uears and invests wisely should be a billionaire in 10 years.

Point is there are plenty of legitimate people worth N500mln and above in this country. Even from salary.

That's what the guy was looking for. It was likely a calculated attempt to irritate Tyson to the point of violence so that a law suit can then be filed and damages claimed!!

There are people in America who brake suddenly so that you hit them from behind and they can claim damages. Usually people who are struggling financially do this sort of thing.

The American President is paid an annual salary of circa $400k. Why do American presidential aspirants have to raise close to $500mln for the election campaign.

If APC presidential aspirant is believable, connected and supported nationally, he should be able to raise at least N250mln for the first phase of his campaign, of which the nomination form of N100mln can be deemed to be part.

But really I don't see why there is so much negativity about the user of helicopters. Agreed it will be expensive, but if its a temporary measure to save peoples lives, why not.

Besides the only cost is the cost of fuel. The pilots and security personnel 7are paid for already since they are air force staff and receive salary.

Also the train is only twice a day for about 2 hours not so? Also the same chopper in the air can provide cover to the Kaduna Abuja and Abuja Kaduna at the same time since they depart at both ends at around the same time and are continually getting closer to each other till the midway point, meaning the response time is short to the other train.

However weaponize drones may be a cheaper, easier solution going forward as the operational cost may be less.

It's shallow to blame everything on government as you have done as though the country has no thieves. There are those who steal things made of iron like Bridge and road railings, manhole covers, Rail tracks and power towers.

So to say its people in government for the purpose of contracts is very shallow.

Note that the Constitution has yet to be amended. The ones that scaled senate and house of reps have been sent to the 36 state houses is assembly for ratification. Each amendment then needs 70%of states to concur before the Constitution is amended.

Interesting that it's only the Lead Pastor or Go that is able to make these gifts to their junior pastors.

The article is written in the paradigm of the political status quo. The reason why Osibanjo has some support is that many Nigerians, particularly the educated, intellectual ones, feel that with him as president we may finally begin to shift away from the political status quo that continually feeds fat from this nation while the citizens suffer.

All the talk of loyalty and what not is rubbish. Simply the mindset of the typical nepotistic, bigoted Nigerian who will say Sir, Sir just for the opportunity of a morsel of bread. Why is a man of 65 not expected to have his own ambition? Must he remain stupidly loyal to a man just 5 years his senior.

This inability to challenge our bosses is part of why we are so useless as a nation. No one in the civil service has any balls to point out something wrong. Once Minister says go in this direction, everybody complies like Sheep.

Osibanjo is no Saint and no doubt he is stained by the incompetence of Buhari. But as far as I'm concerned, these constant and lengthy attacks on him clearly show the the political status quo is very worried. And that in itself is a good thing.

I hope the regional road will not have junctions like the existing Lekki EPE expressway. In truth, it's not even an expressway. There is nothing express about it. The regional road should have flyovers, while people turn beneath it to go left and right.

Go abroad and see what an expressway is. An expressway means to you can go long distances at fast speeds with zero interruption. Between VI and VGC there are about 8 junctions.

Even Lagos Ibadan expressway that JB have done up to Shagamu interchange is not an expressway. The amount of turn offs off that road is a major distraction to smooth driving.

What they should have done is created like a service road parralel to the main expressway and have proper exits at say 2km intervals that properly exit you to that service road. Or remove all the economic activity on the side of the road (admittedly this would be hard to do)
