Considering that we played 2 matches without a goal in open play! And to be fair we never really looked ike scoring!! A team with Osimehn, Iheanacho, Ighalo, Lookman, Denis didn't have any game play to create chances!? Eguavoen was playing an old school game of wing play. And we didn't even execute. How many times did our wingers beat the Ghana defenders one on one and deliver a good cross or cut back.
I dont recall many games from Rhor that we didn't score
YoungLionken: Gernot Rohr, just like Austin Eguavoen, isn't the problem of the Super Eagles, the players are ..
It is just like a school teacher who doesn't understand why the students are finding it difficult to comprehend what he/she is trying to teach them...
Nope!! You are totally wrong. The problem with this team is pure coaching. I did not see any specific game plan of ours. The poor coaching filtered through to the players on the pitch.
Despite all the clamour for local coach, I have been disappointed with Eguavoens style of play, team selection and ability to switch tactics within the match.
Hammyaladin: As a notherner I'm ashamed that our leaders have held huge huge political positions for years but haven't done anything tangible for the citizens.
Today, almost all the ministries, parastatals and infact the whole government is held by notherners but to have a decent security is now luxury.
Shame to all of them.
I pray Peter obi gets president make weti go happen happen. After all we are already suffering. How worst can't it be?
No one, not even Atiku or Tinubu can be worse than Buhari! It's simply not possible.
Before now they should have stationed like 10 well armed, but in mufti army men or Swat police on that train. Say 2 per coach to provide security. Same way US marshals are always on US bound flights, but you'd never know who they are.
With only 2 train movements back and fro daily, it should not be a difficult thing to organise logistically. They should be kitted with sattelite phone, walkie-talkie etc to call for back up chopper from Kaduna Airforce base or from Abuja, depending on which is closer to where the train is.
I don't know why simple things are hard for those in government to conceptualise and implement!!
I do not think Sanwo Olu has done anything fantastic. To me he seems like a man who is too weak to govern Lagos. Fashola was able to step on a few toes to get some things done, but Sanwo Olu doesn't seem to be able to. In my view, Lagos is slowly regressing in the area of street urchins, agberos, touts, lawlesness of our Danfo drivers, Omonile wahala and the like. Traffic is getting worse with no solution is sight.
He's a good talker, but I'm not seeing enough. having said that though, I struggle with who we could replace him with. If PDP can get a very, very viable candidate, i think we need a change. If nothing else to get Tinub's influence out of the state.
chukwuibuipob: Even bus stops too.U'll see suya seller with their charcoal, Akara sellers with gas, even sharwamas pipu,rice,beans/Eba bukas tii.We need a fashola in Lagos not Sanwo olu.Traders have returned end masses to oshodi,Ikeja railway. Pickpocket will have a field day too
I think I agree with you. This Sanwo Olu seems too soft for Lagos. Too eager to please baba.
thesicilian: You guys are so vulnerable, you'll believe anything these politicians say. The LCC is desperate to resume their operations of milking road users dry of their money and have come up with cock and bull stories about how "useful" they are to the society, and you people are ready to fold. Have they answered to what transpired during the end sars protest? It's like a thief coming to beg for forgiveness but is not ready to return the stolen property
How is LCC complicit in EndSars? People were gathered there peacefully for days and nothing happened. Then powers that be from Abuja or wherever sent troops there and the rest is history. Even Sanwo Olu said he didn't know about the order for police/army to go there. So how is LCC complicit?
MansoryMX: Runway created with just cement, sand, coal, runway light and paint marking na this people wan use 92bn naira create! How much is the entire airport? Lord have mercy on Nigeria!!
What a nation!
You’ve forgotten hoe devalued your currency is. N92bln is just $158m. Not a lot for a world class airport.
Just days after bagging N50 million endorsement deal with billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana, he has now showed off an expensive diamond chain he recently acquired.
513 staff in Sports Council!! Doing what? We don’t have 513 people fixing pot holes across the state, constructing low income houses, sweeping the streets of filth, training as nurses or doctors!! But we have 513 people in sports council!
BRAVO Obaseki for ridding the state of those who increase the cost of governance unnecessarily. Please extend this to other Ministries and parastatals.
When will FG do this by implementing Orasanye report.
holluwizzy: The manner in which the bridge shakes cant be compared to the one at mile2 bridge.
In my own opinion, Lagos state needs money, so the create a diversion for contracts to be signed in millions of $$$. Lockdown the bridge and make life unbearable to Nigerians.
Don't know who I should hold responsible for been a Nigerian.
If you really believe that, then your education has gone to waste cos you lack the capacity for rational thinking and use of logic.
benjackugo: BBNaija’s Kiddwaya Blasts The Use Of Stone To Hold Buhari's Stage During Lagos Visit (Photo)
Big Brother Naija star, Terseer Waya, popularly known as Kiddwaya has slammed the use of stones to hold the stage on which the President Muhammadu Buhari stood during his visit to Lagos on Tuesday 22nd March, 2022, IGBERETV reports.
Kiddwaya shared a screenshot of President Buhari standing on a stage covered in red carpet which had stones underneath it to balance the stage.
Meanwhile for Champions Leagues final and World Cup final, they assemble a solid stage in 5minutes!! Yet these guys knew PMB was coming to Lagos days in advance! I wonder how long it took to set this up!
The thing should just be like Lego or interlocking blocks. In 5minutes they should be done.
The lack of design and thinking is a serious problem for us in Africa.
Or11: I will get straight to the point. I get messages all the time from people in Nigeria asking for money and the surprising thing is it's abled bodied men who beg. Some of them act like big boys on social media but codedly begging using every excuse to ask for money.
I wonder why they can't go and work. Ok there are no jobs but what happened to being an entrepreneur. Anyone can be a real estate agent, car sales agent, shipping/clearing agent or just learn a handwork.
I don't go on Facebook anyone because as soon as I go online, the next thing is *beep beep*, a message comes in that reads "baba every red, pls send anything I go manage am", " My dstv sub don expire, na weekend, borrow me 20k, I go pay you back on Monday ", " My pikin get asthma, abeg I need money buy inhaler", "bros pls I travel go village and spend all my money, I need funds to travel back to Lagos and many more.
Are you not seeing the poverty in the land!!? What is going on in naija abeg?
obailala: The Abuja airport does not need a second runway! The Abuja airport does not need a second runway! The Abuja airport does not need a second runway! The Abuja airport does not need a second runway! The Abuja airport does not need a second runway!
Anyone suggesting that the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport needs a second runway, anyone whispering this bizarre idea to the ears of the president is clearly a thief!
Exactly!! It's those who want to steal from the project that will continue to make a case for it!! And Buhari being the tin head that he is does not have the mental capacity to rationalize the pros and cons of it.
2nd runway in Abuja shouldn't be a priority!! I have never had delays landing in Abuja and there are other uses for that money than a second runway in Abuja!!
When LASG wants to clear all those operating business under bridges now, Lagosians will be saying where will they go? Government should find somewhere for them.
Like under bridges were designed for business. What of the cost to govt and motorists of the shutdown and repair of that bridge?
I'm sure Petroleum products were stored there and ended up catching fire.
If this airport is not quickly concessioned, in 5 years it will be a shadow of itself.
MM2 operated by Bi Courtney has been in operation over 10 years and it just the same as it was all those years ago, even better sef. But for anything managed by government that is not the case. It goes downhill fast!
TOPCRUISE: DSTV and GOTV will make sense to me if their new pricing policy is Pay As You Watch strategy.
Not sure where you people keep getting this pay as you watch idea. I've checked dstv website in like 9 African countries and there is no such thing. In all the years people have been talking about pay as you watch, no one has been able to provide a link to a dstv website where it is offered.
Nigerians can keep something for mind as wishful thinking sha.
Ademola47: Dangote refinery is a private business, why does the president has to use public machinery to formally launch it?
Good question. Its part of the shallow way of doing things in Nigeria. PMB's trip to Lagos if you quantify it has probably cost Nigeria upwards of N1bln in wastage.
