Steep: If you have believed in Jesus christ as your saviour, you are urged to walk in the spirit, herein lies our victory over sin, Satan and the world.
However, how can a Christian walk in the spirit?
We are told to walk in the spirit. Gal 5 vv16
Put on the new man.Ephesians 4 vv24.
Put on the Lord Jesus. Rom 13vv14
as we see the day approaching. Hebrews 10vv25
We are not children of darkness 1 thessolonians 5vv5
Neither are we children of disobedience. Ephesians 2vv2.
The world is going wild in all manner of profanity and lewdness. There is increase in lawlessness, adultery, murder, hatred, witchcraft, God hating, pleasure seeking, partying (banqueting) or clubbing, pride, boasting of worldly achievements and of the flesh, disobedience to parents, incontinence, insatiable desires, love of money, fornication, kidnapping, all absurdities.
The flesh on the other hand is seeking things contrary to the spirit.
The devil, on one side is moving about like a roaring lion seeking for whom to devour.
If we must overcome the flesh then we must walk in the spirit, don't just be in the spirit which is a state of being in christ Jesus but we must actively live as children of God, different from the world.
Juliusmomoh: I don't even know the right section to post this..
I lost my uncle some days ago and we put him into the mortuary. Our plan to buried him by january...
What brought about thread is that the mortuary attendant called us to take our corpse on the ground that he fight with the other corpse there.
We went there early morning yesterday to comfirm ourselves. What our eye see mouth no fit talk... E shock us.
He fought other corpse there. He even hang some on the window Attendant don beat him tire, they will still wake up in the morning and see other corpse scatterd and only him enjoying the room.
We where told maybe he's a cultist or he's in some spritual stuff before he died..
They ask us to take him away but we don't want to bury him now due to some family issues. You know.
Please exprience nairalanders, what do you suggest to do now to him?
DeejaywonDJ1: There is this online loan company (Quickcheck) that I used to borrow money from around 2019 when my salary was not stable and I used to pay back in time. So around August my phone screen broken and started malfunctioning, so I wanted to order for the replacement on Jumia, since I have jumia account I wanted to deposit the money into the account to order for the screen replacement. I managed to login to the jumiapay account with the same phone since I can auto deposit into the account quickly because my debit card details is with them.
When I wanted to proceed with the transaction the phone immediately started to malfunction again and I off it because if I did it'll work for few minutes before it start to malfunction again. When I switched it on I saw an alert of 20k from quickcheck, immediately I sent a mail to them using my small phone and transfer the money back to the provided account. But they still go ahead to deduct the interest and the accrued late fees of 35 days because they have my debit card details.
So on the day of delivery I checked my balance and 7k is gone in my account and I decided to check what happened on jumiapay with the same phone, on clicking on the Quickcredit loan icon button same thing happened all over again unintentionally because I didn't get any message afterwards, so I paid for the delivery and fixed the screen immediately.
Then I decided to check my balance on uba app and see that I still have 12k excess which shouldn't be. I decided to check jumiapay to know what happened it was the same thing all over again, I sent the 12k to them with explanation like four times on different platforms. But they still go ahead to deduct the money from my account.
Our penchant for easy/free money will ruin us one day. There will soon be mass closure of all these credit/loan apps along with people's bank details, they have your card details and BVN what else?. It will be like a wildfire....

AlexReports: *HOW LATE OSSY OJUKWU SAVED HIS BOY WHO STOLE HIS $20,000 FROM BEING LYNCHED---- SEARITE BOSS*
FAREWELL EZI-ONYENDU, SIR EMMANUEL OSITADINMA OJUKWU (EZIOKWUBUNDU)
On the 4th day of February, 2021, the most charismatic leader, the Nigerian Community in China ever had, breathed his last!
When an exceptional friend to us passes on, it could be difficult to continue living. Things that were special to you may begin to seem meaningless when you don’t have that exceptional friend to share it with. All of the things that you did together are reminders of the loss that you have suffered. Eziokwubundu as I fondly call him was such a ‘beautiful’ friend!
Beyond his unmatchable leadership qualities, he was humane and compassionate. I recall with nostalgia and tears when in 2003, one of his boys stole his $19,500 claiming to have lost the money in a commercial bus; the people around wanted to beat the hell out of him, having discovered he was telling lies, but Mr. Ojukwu stopped them insisting that the boy shouldn’t be beaten because of money. Rather he should be allowed to be judged by his conscience. I was impressively amazed knowing that I was not worth more than $500 as at that time and knew the value of the stolen money. But that was Ossy. His sense of forgiveness, tolerance, stoicism and accommodativeness was second to none.
The excellent way he piloted the affairs of the Nigerian community pays tribute to his unique personality. Prior to his enthronement as the president of the Nigeria community in China, cultism and gangsterism were the social normal, but Onyeisi weighed in and permanently curbed the social ill to the point that the Chinese provincial governments in provinces with high population of Nigerians recognized the positive change and applauded him for the great job.
The excellent leadership waves of the great Eziokwubundu must not be stereotyped to only his giant strides in the leadership of Nigerian community in China, but it transcends to other social groups he was identified with. Eziokwubundu was the secret behind the success of the enviable Ikenga Ndigbo Gburu Gburu. Before his coming as the president of the revered Ikenga, the organization was in a comatose state gasping for breath. The club was confronted with severe leadership crisis. As soon as Onyeisi came on board, he reconciled the conflicting factions, restructured the organization and ensured that transparency and accountability prevailed in his leadership, hence, the success story of the Organization today.
While alive, he was revered by both the Chinese authority and Nigerians in China. Onyeisi was such a selfless leader who would ignore his personal challenges in pursuit of public good. It is not to sound hyperbolic to say that even on the sick bed, Onyeisi was still using his last strength to attend to the problems of Nigerians in China.
Onyeisi was a brother and a true friend. And it is not arguable to say that his demise has created a gap that no one can fill in Nigeria community in China. It is without sentiment that I make bold to say that Onyeisi was pure in the heart. Therefore, I am consoled by the heavenly promise in the book of Mathew Chapter 5 vs 8; ‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God!’
Adieu Ezigbo Onyendu, Sir Emmanuel Ositadinma Ojukwu. You will forever remain in my heart! I am certain that God himself took you home. Ga ije gi nke oma, emesia anyi gafu
Dust to dust, soul to Maker, so it is and so it has always been!!!
Oraeto Chukwubuzo ODOGWU ABAGANA CEO: Searites Global Services Ltd
There was a real sense of change during his leadership in China, before then the Nigerian community was in disarray and heavily antagonised by the Chinese government following the activities of cultists, prostitutes and drug peddlers.... He will be missed.
EdobabaComedy: I got a good opportunity to sell one of my kidneys for cool dollars and I did. Now I am busy chopping life. I am building my own house, got a sweet ride, naking fresh puna, have a nice cozy bar and restaurant that is moving well.
Why die poor with two kidneys when you can chop life with just one.

RealSolution001: So I have been observing this girl returning from work every evening but days ago, I approached her on toasting level. While we were walking the road talking, she saw a currency note on the road and shamelessly rushed for it in my full presence. What is more annoying to me is, this happened when people were around in the place and to their full glare too. I felt so embarrassed over her act.
What do you think guys? Isn't she such a mannerless person? Should I desist?
Don't ever make the mistake of taking that girl to a party like the one held in Oba. Infact any party or owambe they will spray money
