I really can't relate to the unnecessary fuss, I think high expectations is the reason you're hurt,you might not have asked him for stuff but you were expecting him to offer cos if he had offered I'm very sure you would'nt have refused. Why must you test him? How are you sure his questions isn't even a test?cos all I see is 2 pple trying to outsmart the other. There are subtle ways you can tell someone you've not eaten,it's either you tell half truths or you evade the question but you continuously saying no,sent the wrong message across,your outright no seemed like coded begging.
Am I the only one who thinks asking if someone has eaten is plain annoying and stupid cos I don't see the essence,what if I haven't eaten would you come and feed me,I seriously hate that question and I detest when guys ask such. The guy's continuous asking is enough to put you off. Threads and topics like this make impact if you don't know. You may think guys are typing for typing sake but many are learning....and of course there must be fools in every gathering of 12!

There must be guys who are destined to be foolish and daft towards women, maybe out of inability to get other girls or maybe out of insecurity and fear of losing the one and only girl they were able to convince to date them after several attempts.....their case is different and pathetic.... but take it from me, many guys are learning and have learnt a lot from threads like this on Nairaland, Twitter, Facebook.

I be getting married by next year if things goes well, the problem now is that my fiance is not interested in a court Wedding while my mum is institing on it, he only want to do the normal traditional. 2yrs ago, a youth corper served in a company I managed. One Friday evening we both went out clubbing with 2 of my friends.

There were lots to drink and lots of dancing and body contact. It was fun and at the end of the night we both were under the influence quite obviously. One thing led to the other and we both had sex that night. I’m sure this wouldn’t have happened if we were in our right senses.

However, it happened and it was consensual, as in, no persuasion, no force we both wanted it and we both had it albeit under the influence nonetheless, although I initiated it.

Days later she grew wings and became nonchalant with her duties and I wasn’t gonna take any of that then she started threatening to report me to her ZI of taking advantage of her. I called her bluff and asked if I raped her.

Long story short I had to send her away for insubordination and nonchalant to duties.

My question here is: in light of the build up before we had sex that night, can I be done for for rape? Just watching my back just in case she came out in future accusing me of rape.

I need answers from lawyers, please.
