@Jarus. Would the polls be back...cos without the polls, I feel the whole process of Nomination, Voting and even the primaries would be very hectic and strenuous. |

Deep Sight: That's teh funny thing about nairaland. Some people have been shocked to discover who they have been interacting with on this forum.Very true... |
Very true...Reminds me of matthew 15:14...most religious leaders today are blind. |
I can't help but regret If only If adam and eve were chinese, we would still be in paradise because they would have ignored the apple and eaten the snake. |
ferhyntorlah: CrazyMan,Yea sure I did...just that I can't really remember what it is I was looking for...its been quite long. |
Miracle is an act of God, while magic is an act of humans period... A typical example is in the book of Exodus when moses and pharoah displayed supernatural powers. I noticed something unique in that book...when power mix with power, the less power would always bow to the greater power...pharoah's magic bowed to the supreme power of God. So...magic being from the world is lesser, and miracles being from God is much greater. |
cantell: We're not muslims, so silly things like this don't offend us(christians).Well said brah... |
ITbomb: The Xteristics of certain Xtains is that certain things can not be xplained xpeciall at xmasVery bored...if you choose to replace christ with the letter X, and refuse to accept necessary corrections, then I'm really sorry for you. |

Make sure you bar all your doors and windows before engaging in such practice...or else people would think you've lost it, should they sight you displaying your weird behaviour from the window. |
Good write up...Nairaland is definitely the best place to be. |
Wrong...its Author Eze. |
Most Africans are just lazy...that's why they would forever remain black, and be grouped as a black race, in a black continent, with black brains and black leaders... And end up having a black future, no thanks to their black hearts which they use in planing evil to their fellow black brothers and sisters. ![]() |
Shugamania: Thanks dear...hope u're not literally crazy sha.No dear...I'm perfectly sane. ![]() danqujigy: politics things..My advise would be that you do it at a place that you'll be treated and respected as a graduate, and not somewhere you would be treated as trash. |

k2wise: Seun, you're becoming very disrespectful and insulting to us that take our time to visit Nairaland daily. How on earth would you allow this kind of post on the front Page of NL. Am very disappointed.I bet if this thread was against islam, half of the posts here would be hidden and the posters banned. |
I think its wrong for officiating ministers to ask such silly question...in the presbyterian church for instance, you're give a date to report any reason why you feel the marriage shouldn't go on. Once the given date is elapsed, and no one objects, the Rev. Would give the couples the green light to go ahead with their preparations, and on the wedding day, he won't even bother to ask whether or not the union should be joined together. I feel that's much better that way...asking it publicly isn't wise... |
bilms: Vanguard reports Pastor Adeboye as telling his Redeemed Church congregants: “Anyone who is not paying his tithe is a God robber and from now on let it be clear; anyone who is not a regular tither cannot be married in the church.Very carnal statement... 2 Corinthians 8:12 12 A gift is appreciated because of what a person can afford, not because of what that person can’t afford, if it’s apparent that it’s done willingly. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 7 Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver. 8 God has the power to provide you with more than enough of every kind of grace. That way, you will have everything you need always and in everything to provide more than enough for every kind of good work. Using threats to force people to pay tithes should be considered as robbery...the bible said people should give willingly, and not because they've been pressurized by their pastors to give. bilms: Anyone who is not a regular tither cannot be ordained in the church. We will not ordain robbers, nor will the church accept a non-regular tither to build in the sprawling redemption camp because we do not want to dwell with robbers of God.Acts 6:2-7. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. 3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. 5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: 6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. 7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. From the passage above, we can see clearly that the criteria for selecting people who would serve in the household of God is quite different from what we're seeing today. The early apostles choosed men filled with the holy ghost and of good report...not men who payed their tithes. They choosed men who were willing to go the extra mile to do God's work...not money bags who think christianity is all about how much cash you deposit in your GO's account. They choosed men who were ready to die, and even died for the gospel...and not men who would denounce their faith and betray Christ at the slightest temptation. Its obvious that the church of today has lost its direction. bilms: definition of a robber is becoming complex, for those looters of our national heritage and pay in millions to our churches as their tithes: are they robbers in the eyes of our men of God? somebody should help me outPapa Adeboye is simply telling us that the sole aim of the RCCG is to extort tithes from people regardless of the source of where the money is coming from. So if I'm a robber, and I pay tithe, God would accept my stolen money...? If I'm into rituals, God would accept...? If I'm a con man...God would still accept my tithe...? If I'm a corrupt politician....my tithe would be relevant...? If I'm an occultist...I can still pay my tithe to the church...? I'm sorry pastor...my God isn't a beggar...he's interested in our hearts and not our pockets. |
Clerverly: Mbok, what does a citizen benefit from NigeriaGood question... |
What's the big deal in her piercing her ear...must you react to every little thing? ![]() Its not like she cheated on you, or told you about an abortion she committed in the past...just see it as fashion and turn a blind eye on it. |
He's a human just like everyone else. At the appointed time, he would die and become a bag of maggots...so don't be obsessed with him like other jobless Nigerians. Spend your time seeking for your salvation and not searching for who the Anti christ is. |
akin emma: let me ask you this, did you know that there is difference between the lake of fire and hell.Really...? Please explain the difference... akin emma: go back to the bible when Jesus was talking about lazarus and the rich man. Jesus said the rich man was taken to hell after his death. the lake of fire is where satan and his angels will be tormented not hell.Jesus told them a parable.... Its not like the story happened anyway...Jesus used it to teach and illustrate a moral lesson. akin emma: it might interest you to know that even hell will be cast into the lake of fire in the end.The bible never said hell would be casted into the lake of fire...it said death and hades. Please don't misquote the scriptures. akin emma: I must correct you, Hell is not a place where the devil will be tormented. the devil and his angels will be tormented in the lake of fire. Do yourself a favour of reading rev. 20 vs 12-15 and compare it with where Jesus said the rich man was taken to after death in the bible. if you are still adamant then i want you to show me where it is written in the bible that devil and his angels will be punished in hell. There is no such thing as hell...once a man dies, he remains in the grave until the day of judgment when he would give an account of the life he lived here on earth. |
Nice pics rocky...keep them coming. ![]() |
