That most Nigerians prefer to vote in corrupt leaders from their tribe than good leaders from other tribes.

That you can't hold any state government office anywhere in the country regardless of how productive you are - apart from your home state.

That admissions into higher institutions these days are strictly for indigens...other visitors as seen as excess cargo.

That tribes now are calling for their own president (eg Igbo president 2015) aren't we all Nigerians? Can't we elect one qualified leader to rule us?

That even here on Nairaland we keep attacking each other's opinions regardless of how reasonable it sounds...simply because he or she isn't from our tribe.

That most Nairalanders are quick to judge law offenders that have different ethnic background with us and defend the ones from our tribes (eg Igbo man caught with cocaine...yorubas would course them and the Igbos would fault the report)

...Yoruba man sleeps with daughter...Igbos would curse them also and yorubas would claim the story is a folly)

If you ask me, I'd say Nigerians are the worst racists in the world.

They should solve the problem of tribalism here before accusing the white man of racism...charity they say, begins at home.

Eight months is enough time to decide whether or no you love someone...therefore I would suggest that you sit her down and have a one on one discussion with her.

Confirm from her if she truly loves you, and make sure she gives you a direct answer...there's no point spending quality time with someone who can even admit she loves you.

Well, I understand her predicaments...but I won't suggest an abortion. Cos if she go ahead with an abortion, she would give the man would have a very good reason to leave her.

What if the man asks about the child tomorrow, what would she tell him, you can't possibly expect him to believe that the whole emotional story, the way she cried, her reactions when he didn't give her a satisfactory reply...was just a joke...the man might accuse her of deceit and mistrust, and believe me, he would have a very good reason to call it quits.

I feel she should go on with his request...(Have the baby and go for a DNA test) if the reoprt confirms that the child belongs to the man, she would be vindicated of every suspicion that people might have against her.

If the man, after see the report, decides to come up with another story or reason why their marriage shouldn't hold, then we'll know he's just being wicked...and had no intentions of marrying her right from the onset...

Pastors don't preach on Ipods and Ipads...they preach their sermons in the church, and upload the messages online.

This pratice is to enable people who can't attend the service or people who reside in different states or countries to to still have access to such messages by going online to download them through their laptops, ipads, ipods and other gadgets.

We have christian dating...why most people or rather pastors frown at dating is because majority of it leads to pre-martial sex.

Dating isn't a sin if both parties are practicing christians...it becomes a sin when they begin to engage themselves in s^exual immorality. Because as a Christian you should already know that any form of fornication is evil in the sight of God.

So in order to avoid sinning, you and your partner would have to maintain a brother sister relationship, also you must avoid living together before you eventually get married.

Earring has nothing to do with christianity. Any pastor who spends time laying emphasis on it should be considered a joker. Because Jesus last words on earth to his disciples was to spread the good news and win souls and not to debate whether or not earring is good.
