Aren't you guys a little ashamed of yourselves talking about paintball, in naija we call folks like you "agbayas". If you want some adrenaline by killing real people why don't you go join the insurgency in Iraq, Afghanistan or peace keeping forces in Darfur. Paintball is for adults in mid-life crisis who are living what rapper Nas called there "second childhood" or worse of all who are stuck in a rot. This is similar what we used to do when we were kids, only then they called it "police and thief" he he he. Paul in the bible said, "when i was a child i behaved like a child, but when i became a man i put away childish things". So if you want to find something better to do go pick up a football or basketball or something else, i know i would be ashamed of myself if my siblings caught me participating in paintball the same way i would disown my parents if they ever played paintball. You definitely don't know what you're talking about, Jordan came back from retirement (he was playing pro baseball) in midseason that's why they lost to the Shaq led orlando magic. Also, there is no way that Hakeem would have ever won the NBA championship had MJ not retired, and contrary to what you said Hakeem never beat him in the Finals. This gives me more proof that you know nothing about basketball.

Honestly when did you guys start watching basketball because i am really curious, and Millico88 i am interested how you went to the Boston garden to watch Bill Russell play during the Jim Crow era, please stop trying to fool us. Winning 6 championships in 8 years (it could have been 8 of 8 had he not retired abruptly) is more impressive than just looking at stats of the old era and saying woah, Russell won 11 championships!!! of course if i played soccer against primary school students, i would be the next Ronaldo. A better analogy would be comparing Cassius Clay to Rocky Marciano. Rocky had the better record (undefeated) because he fought vastly inferior oponents and an aging Joe Lewis, Clay on the other hand fought some of the greatest heavyweights to have ever entered the Ring and lost a few but he is regarded as the greatest of all time. Yes Bill played some worthy adversaries at the time but they were just a few (West, Baylor, Oscar and Wilt) compared to MJ who was playing against many many many more talented players that i can't even begin to rattle off my head.
Finally to settle the debate, the NBA came out with the list of the greatest players to ever play the game sometime around 1998 and Michael Jordan was on top of the list. nuff said.

If you want to develop our national league then the NFL shoul make it a requirement that every coach must first get its UEFA A-License which is a test on tactics and a UEFA Pro License which is based on management. This will inevitably make our league better.

I know a naija guy too who dumped a pretty girl because she couldn't cook because you have a degree and a career does not mean you should neglect your domestic duties as that is a westernized way of thinking, i know many Africans living at home and abroad where the wife still cook. Like they say in Africa, Charity begins at home, our culture raises our daughters up to be mothers and wifes and that includes being educated and having a career because a lot of guys don't want to have a free loader feeding off them like that. Also since the wife is not a slave but a helper and a partner,  the husband should help her out if she needs help in the kitchen or around the house. So like they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, why marry a wife if you are going to be eating at subway or micky dees (mcdonalds) everyday, the wife is totally useless.

I am not comparing MJ to Larry Bird, i am just trying to disprove that MJ struggled in the 80's as a player. Also, MJ is better than Larry Bird any day, any time and that includes Larry Bird's prime. Larry Bird as good as he was simply not athletic so he made up for it by being fundamentally sound, MJ on the other hand had no weaknesses on the basketball court.

Obviously you are just new to watching basketball so you go look at stats on google and dare to compare Bill Russell to Michael Jordan if you said this in public that winning 11 championships in the 50's is as impressive as winning 6 championships in 8 years in the 90's, people would laugh so hard till they fall from there chairs. Comparing Bill Russell to MJ is like comparing Rocky Marciano to The Great Prophet Ali (Cassius Clay), a man who went undefeated while fighting nobodys to a man who fought against some of the greatest of all time and lost a few fights. Lets get one thing straight, Bill Russell was one of the few black players in a league that was not competitive in other words he was going up against inferior unathletic white players, also let's not forget the fact the league hadn't merged with the ABA yet so there was a small talent pool at the time. I would sure love to see Michael Jordan dunk on Bill Russell that would make  a sportcenter highlight reel.

You are like the only person in the world to think that Bill Russell is as good as MJ. For further validation, when the list of the top 50 players of all time was released in 1998 Michael Jordan is considered to be the greatest player of all time so be quiet.

How dare you put Bill Russell ahead of MJ. This is basketball heresy, if you said this in basketball circles everybody would laugh at you. You obviously don't sound like a knowledgable basketball fan because everybody agrees that MJ is hands down the G.O.A.T (THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME). Having said that Bill Russell was great but he is not even regarded as the best of his era, Wilt Chamberlain was and also both this guys played in an era where there were no good athletes, only stiff little white guys, that's why they dominated, i would love to see them play in this mordern day era.

Seb Larsson is just incredibly jealous that he was never good enough to play for Arsenal just like the remaining castaways like Jeremie Aliadiere and Francis Jeffers he he he. So suck it up Seb you are not good enough.

Living in Yanki and the western world can drive someone to suicide because there society is too isolated and individualistic. There is no camaraderie, spontaniety, or robustness like what Naija has, everything is just dour, monotonous, dull and bland.

I am a nigerian but i have to say that you are the classiest woman ever and i admire your class a lot, you stand in the heat of the battle with all this people saying things about your people and you don't get angry and just loose it like i saw Toccara lose it on TV a couple of nights ago on "celebrity fit club" . But seriously though, you are a very temperate person, i just argued with one of my oyinbo (white) friends here, and she was getting all sensitive about my views on the things i don't like about America and i remember being so angry with her but you are the definition of grace my lady, and i apologise for all the shennanigans from our naija people on this board.

I am a child of the 90's but i can remember some of the shows you are talking about. I grew up in the era when Indian, Japanese (Ninja), and Hong Kong movies were incredibly popular along with mexican telenovelas like "no one but you" and "the rich also cry".
