Man, ivory coast looks formidable. They have the Toures, the Kalou's, the Kone's and i've not even started talking about their giant. |
are white men not human beings? why are you calling them out like they are a different species or something. Remember they are God's creatures like us, so if you say something against them remember that you would give account of it on the day of Judgement. If you are the type that gets angry to see sistas with white guys, you truly need to check and assess yourself or simply ask yourself the question; would she be with me if she wasn't with the white guy? |
my naija people, please let's not become as shallow as this oyinbo people who are so obsessed with celebrities. |
What is celebrity take 2? seems like a spin-off of america's "dancing with the stars" why do we always ALWAYS have to copy oyinbo people? |
we are always copying USA. |
check the internet my friend, particularly google.com |
sharia law is not only unconstitutional but is a direct violation of the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria. The FG should give those northern states an ultimatum, repeal sharia law or we will cut off govt. funding and basic amenities to your states. If they resist and try to riot and be violent, then the president under the executive powers of the presidency should declare a state of emergency and roll in tanks and infantry divisions into those state to re-establish law and order. The second approach to sharia should be a fight for the hearts and minds of the northerners by granting them free education, establishing and subsidizing the cost of businesses. The creation of industries there would inevitably provide jobs for those impoverished folks. |
According to the words of a wise man; Fela to be exact MKO was an ITT (international thief thief). This guy was awarded a huge telecoms contract by the british govt to wire and connect nigeria and he embezzled it under the company International Telecoms and Telegraph. To make matters worse, he thought he could decieve us by giving the looted money for charity as if we were all going to be fooled by his philantropical work. Ole big BIG OLE. |
Don't they have gatorade and powerade in Nigeria? |
he don dey turn to akata, I hope naija people don't turn to akata people (African americans) in yanki where 70% of them are born out of wedlock. |
Just buy Rosetta stone. |
@strykin Hey Rolake what secondary school did you go to? |
This is not the NFL were a team can tank the season and be assured of the no. 1 pick in the draft, in the NBA its a lottery. Remember what happened to Rick Pitino and the Celts when Tim Duncan was coming out of college back in '98, even last year Boston got screwed again by the lottery balls and missed out on the man child himself. The NBA created the lottery system to prevent situations like tanking (even though, the worst team is given the highest probability of winning the no. 1 pick). Also, concerning the PG position, it is probably the most difficult position to learn in the NBA so who knows how long it will take the kid to mature, i would rather draft D.J. Augustin of Texas since he is a pure point rather than a shooting guard playing the point. |
@oldie I went to ask them and they said you are right. Peace out. |
I used to do it because puffy used to do it even though its wrong. |
By the way, to whoever posted Kiera Knightley's pick should realize that she too is waaaaaaaay to lepastic and not my type, sorry. |
I haven't been really following the NBA lately because of the NFL season, but i have been watching a lot of highlights on Sportscenter though and i heard that my boy Brandon Roy is leading the Portland Blazers to greatness (we're back RIP CITY). I hope when football ends i can focus on the NBA and some college basketball. |
You might hate tha Pats but the truth of the matter is that they will win the superbowl and there is nothing anybody or any team can do about that. By the way, how could you hate the Pats, they are such a classy organization, they are very humble and classy individuals even randy moss is becoming as well mannered as the queen of england, and it all comes down to the owner, the GM, the coach and the VP of player personnel (Scott Pioli: the best in the business). Besides how could you hate Tom Brady, he is the coolest celebrity on the planet this side of David Beckham. |
Imagine a President Barrack Obama in the white house, a son of an African(kenyan), in the white house with massive power and influence. To me that will not only be the president of America but also Africa. He will seek for better treatment of people in Africa @naijaway Oh puleeeeeeease. Spare us the naive comments. |
who cares were he is from, the question should be can he lead this country in place of that so called president we have. |
Now it is also clear that Bini people are superior to the Yoruba. @olydim Who told you that What kind of nonsense is this? |
Themes of violence and drug abuse is not something that Africans can relate to, its a foreign thing. Whoever wrote this script is just trying to makes us yanki people and probably has not been around many Africans before. |
@don1demaco Yes FIFA is wrong for fielding awards like "World Player of the Year", the award is always in favor of attacking players: strikers and attacking midfielders, only twice has a defender won the award. Its even worse for goalies who have won it just once. Did you see how dominant Petr Cech was when he firs came to chelsea? or even Oliver Kahn in his prime? So don't come here telling me that the underrated defensive midfielders (the Michael Essien's and Gattuso's) are not getting overlooked. If there is going to be awards, there should be seperate awards for coaches, goalies, defensive players and attacking players. Everybody who knows a thing or two about soccer can tell you that in the game, all the attention is on the goal scorers and not on the guys who work so hard to stop them. I would love to see Wayne Rooney spend a day in the shoes of Nemanja Vidic or van der Saar and see how the poor chap fares. Truth of the matter is, the legs are just as important as the nose, and all organs in the body are just as important and inexcludable. By the way, just on a side note, FIFA voters are human beings just like you and me and not gods so they can be wrong. |
@pekingpain Boy you sound extremely unethical. |
RIBADU definitely. |
Globalization is ExxonMobil Nigeria, Chevron, Texaco, Shell, Zenith Bank, Globacom, Afribank and so forth. |
how come you never hear about our naija celebrities like we do europe and america ones like we always know who brad pit is dating @poster It is simply because Nigerians are not as shallow as Americans. I hate hearing celebrity new, reading tabloids and the whole unnecessary nine yards. I think the whole celebrity thing and those that get involved in unnecessary things like that a shallow and need a life. The longer i stay in yanki, the more i feel i am getting dumber because i am getting bombarded with useless celebrity scandals. I am so tired of hearing about Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and co. i can't stand seeing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie unless they are in movies simply because i couldn't care about there personal lives and neither should y'all. |
that is what is raining now, that is what's in vogue. . . leave her alone jo @betty Abeg o, i don't like my women lepa-ish, they gotta be thick and curvy, you know have some meat on there body and not looking like a broom stick or worst of all like a super model. If the girl is thin she better be incredibly, outrageaously cute for me to consider her, like some black supermodel i saw on TV the other day she was ridiculously gorgeous. That is the only technicality to the rule my sista. |
I would rather stab my eye with a fork than watch naija league (just kidding). It is a globalized world, get used to it, why should i be forced to accept a mediocre product when i am being presented a first class product. @poster Sorry, this is not about patriotism but man's appetite for quality and the lengths he or she would go to attain it. |
Billy Madison hands down. |
Awo was no saint but everybody here can agree that naija would be waaaaaaaaaaay better under Awo's presidency than uncle sege and Yar'adua or however they spell his name. |
