I would have loved to remain anonymous, but what's the point?

My problem is I'm a jobless graduate, who works for a friend. This friend I work for, doesn't even pay, he just gives me stipends after every work I do. It's a laundry work. He owns the shop, so he's in charge of everything in the shop including, collections of money and all. My work is just to work. I do virtually everything in the shop.

My problem is this guy almost all the time collects the money and doesn't even give me my share. The only time I see my share is when the I'm around when the monies are given to him.

I'm hooked because I mostly feed in there house, because the shop is just within the house. I tried to get a good job, but nothing is forth coming. I even tried applying for casual jobs, still no luck.

I'm currently in a dilemma because my parents are tired of me staying in there house, so currently I sleep in the shop, and it's not even conducive, but that's the only option I have.

I tried contacting my relatives in Lagos if I could go and make a living there, but they aren't really interested me coming.

Please I kindly need advise and help, because I'm heading towards depression.

I'm actually 30 years old. With nothing to show for, except "I'm a graduate" tag.

Hello Nairalanders. I need your honest feedback on this issue.


There is this ex of mine I dated for approximately 4 years. During the course of our relationship, I Was totally in my best power not to be the toxic one and never cheated on her but she eventually left with no viable reason. There were times she messed up and I forgave her even while we dated.
Close to the time of her graduation from a reputable state university in Nigeria, she started messing up and eventually broke up the relationship.
I was pained though but I had to forgive her and move on.

After the break up (which is about 3 years away now) we still talk (greetings on phone) once in a blue moon.

Now the issue at hand is, a male boss of mine requested that I recommend a female staff that matches a particular vacant role in our organisation .
Note: This is an internal recruitment and who ever I recommend stand a 95% chance of getting employed ( the other 5% if for village people). The role is an entry role with pay centered around 80k-100k monthly. She currently earns 22k where she works now at at our last conversation. Though she use to be a cool person before her village people entered the relationship. Over three years of not being close as before gives me no clue of the type of person she might have become now. Maybe a scorned woman or a more sensible person. I'm doing far better than when she left me and it's super glaring to her.

The reason why I need advice is this: I work at the same organisation in question and I have no plan to leave soon. I'm trying to avoid a case where she will be the one to facilitate any issue for me at the said work place. Just avoiding anything that will result in regrets.

Update: I forgot to add, she's one of the person I know who suits the role. I don't have sister who matches the role.

honestly I will pay, considering that happened except I sense fraud. But if I can not pay , I will simply ask for a refund. If he (the boss) reports that guy and he is sacked I'm sure getting the car will become more difficult.
He had already entered a business gone wrong, let him just be considerate.

I decided to contact a friend in the US and we've been doing biz then last year March he told me he wanted to sell his 2013 Toyota Highlander limited and I requested for pictures as usual, advertised it and my manager showed interest and I communicated this to my partner after back & forth negotiation he decided to sell the Highlander for 6M and my Boss paid 5M balance to be paid on delivery. After payment my partner couldn't ship the car as promised due to missing Car title till this year February when he got a bonded title and shipped the car.after the car was cleared my friend says he can't sell the car at that price anymore that he wants more cos he's spent so much on the car that I should engage my manager with the Update .After informing my manager the feedback I got is very scary as my Manager has threatened to report me to ethics and compliance section of my company if I do not deliver his car and this could lead to me being sacked ,my friend is not willing to let go the highlander at this point I'm stuck and confused .I need advice on how to navigate this kind of situation.
