Iwoyi laaro! |
Upon arrival, all governors, deputy governors, governors' wives, governors' husbands, ministers and spouses, obas and chiefs must be drafted to welcome her back. She left quietly but now that she is well, there must be celebrations. |
Ope. |
Even on the cross, Jesus Christ rebuked Peter for taking up arms. Jesus Christ came to save the world, and only through Him can man find salvation. His mission was to die so that we can live. Thank God He rose again and all power is given to Him. If Jesus Christ wants to fight, there are millions of angels that will crush the wicked in one nano-second, but He really wants to save, even those who oppose Him. Men and women of all religions must ponder upon this. Christ died for you and paid the penalty for your salvation and His blood has brought you peace. Embrace Christ today and your tensions and troubles will be over. |
megareal: It keeps on getting worse. How can the president's speech writers not have confirmed that info before factoring that into the speech? They all deserve to be fired. They have exposed their unclothedness; lazying about while copying and pasting. No wonder the president's speeches mostly sound too alike! And yet again I wonder what is really going on with GEJ. Too many mistakes. They seem to be too busy 'chopping' like most of the people in the corridors of power who have simply joined government because of the seeming 'chopping' spree in those quarters today. When your mouth is too busy you really cant think through. The matter is worsened by the fact that GEJ's aides feel that their boss isn't keen to sack anyone for non-performance. |
nkem Kalu: CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN......ABATI, OKUPE AND LABARAN MAKU. THIS IS A PURELY SPOT THE DIFFERENCE GAME BUT AFTER SPOTTING THE DIFFERENCES....U SHOULD ALSO SPOT THE SIMILARITIES. ONE OF THE SIMILARITIES I NOTICED PERSONALLY IS THAT THEY ARE ALL INSANE.....I AM STILL CHECKING OUT FOR THEIR DIFFERENCES AND WILL LET NIGERIANS KNOW IF I AM ABLE TO GET THAT BUT FOR NOW....I HAVE SEEN NONEABATI = A professional who got himself stuck in a messy pit. Ironically, the pit has a lot of money inside it, though eventually reputation is lost. MAKU = He never believed government could be this 'sweet' and so he wont mind to sell his birthright defending the indefensible OKUPE = The first family needed to start to play it rough and they thought of getting a tough bully! I just hope that it isn't true that he called 170 million people silly! Incidentally, I wish GEJ well and truly pray that he succeeds more than others before him, but he will have to do something about his advisers. For instance, those advisers who have a tendency to package lies for the president to announce to the nation should be shown the way out quickly. |
I like these Americans. They know how to create fun! Europeans would rather not talk about personal things on their news. What's the child going to be named as? Please broadcast the name as well via CNN! |
Owo abu! Anyway, looks like the lobby has started for 2013 GCON! |
The love of money........! |
The problem is with GEJ's advisers and the fact that GEJ is not ready to fire people. I also thought that some things Mr President said sounded a bit off the mark. |
Let us move to the next topic. If she is fine then we give thanks to God for her fitness. Madam, see you soon. Nigerians, stop doubting every thing that is coming from FG. Sometimes they are truthful. |
Is it this bad? The world is saying: Nigeria has nothing to say! Our story is that of wasted opportunities and wasted resources. With all due respect, what is the President going to say by the way? Flood is ravaging the country with hundreds already dead and our president is there giving speech! To whom, about what? We have nothing to say! |
We pray she comes back to Nigeria hale and hearty and as strong as ever. No one should judge anyone else. Some of the people throwing stones at the innocent would do worse if they have the same position. She will be well and detractors shall be shamed. Our president will laugh last. Amen |
When a president is serious and interested in wiping out corruption, everyone in the world would know.... |
Government at different levels are still clueless on what to do. If it were during election they would have gone to seek votes in the same place. Edo Governor is the only one who has come out to help victims quickly. There was one governor (name witheld) who even went to a flooded site with his babariga. All of his aides also wore that lazy unserious dress. At the end of the day they could not even come close to where the victims were. Ok to wear babariga to functions and events, but definitely not to see helpless flood victims. It shows you how some people pretend to be working but are achieving nothing at all. |
The old man has said nothing! Sorry. What is not complicated? Even mixing garri in hot water to make eba can be complicated for people who do not know how to prepare that stuff. With his statement, he has brought more complication to a simple matter. Why is FG not appealing? Is that to mean they are happy to let Bakassi people go? What is in an appeal? Again, what is in an appeal? Why would they be afraid to appeal? Somebody, speak to Nigerians, please! |
PeeDaVinci: doubting if efcc really has lawyers? You are right. They are creating sensation instead of going for the substance. well, by the way, has GEJ not donated a church built by someone who was a contractor to the FG? Shouldn't EFCC also pursue that case? |
I am no fan of Atuche or others but I think EFCC is missing something out. There are several thiefing bank MDs and executives that are being honoured with national garlands while they have just picked a few, Ibru, Akingbola and Atuche to hound and hound. It is nonsense. I hope that at the end of the day EFCC would not have executed the Sanusi agenda of hounding and crippling a few perceived enemies, while several others with even greater infractions are walking about town with shoulders raised, and even being honoured here and there. |
taharqa: Did he actually use the word foreign military intervention?NOPE. He Didn't. Some nairalander has inserted that word. |
bokohalal: With foreign miltary intervention in Somalia there is a modicum of stability in Somalia and peace and prosperity in Somaliland. In Iraq, the Kurdish region is progressing and Iraq itself is a better country. There is evidence in Afghanistan that it is a advancing as opposed to the Taliban and pre Taliban period. Syria is going to the dogs and there is no foreign intervention there. There is no use of FOREIGN in this speech. Or am I reading another thing? |
Fashola will soon do a new law that gives passport to original Lagosians! People whose towns and villages of origin are within the area carved in Lagos State. |
It may be possible that Nigeria is trying to avoid an 'African Kashmir' and that perhaps makes sense. I however do not understand why our president went to the UN to say this. All the while FG has not reacted to local proponents of an ICJ appeal and ow went to UN to give us all a reply. Amazing!!! What are the president's men advising? |
berem: How many Tiger product we go get for naija? We get Tiger Battery,Tiger Generator and Tiger Torch.now na Tiger Flour! Na Tiger be the only animal wey God create? Tiger ko! Antelope ni!You just gave me a bright idea: Antelope Ventures Ltd. I should create that and seek to take over Obajana Cement. Grand CON! GCON for short. |
The power of Eba, Amala, Apu, Ogufe, Ogbono, Stockfish and burukutu drink! Na wa o. |
We are waiting for them to pay. What is FG going to do with the proceeds? Share it back to the same set of people as they did in the fuel subsidy case? I pay you USD200million and get back USD300 through the back door! In that case I have taken over a national asset and have gotten a bonus for doing that? What is FG going to do with the proceeds? Tell the people now! Thank you. |
Now they are afraid, Obama is aiding in the rise of Islamist governmet who will ensure Israel will be annihilated Home 2012 News Obama Videos About Us State Department attacks CNN for releasing Ambassador diary information KEVIN DANIELSEN SEPTEMBER 23, 2012 11:15 PM The State Department and CNN have apparently experienced a falling-out of sorts. Because of indicting evidence from the late US Ambassador, Chris Stevens’ diary, the State Department is scrambling for explanations. Essentially, Ambassador wrote accounts of fear, and a feeling that security was inadequate, due to the increase in Islamic extremism. CNN was first to break the story, so for once, the feds are at odds with the network. TVNewser reports: The State Department is taking CNN to task for sharing details from Ambassador Chris Stevens’diary, before returning the journal to his family. Stevens, along with three other Embassy personnel were killed on Sept. 11 when the consulate in Benghazi came under attack. The article continues… On Wednesday’s AC360, Anderson Cooper reported Stevens was worried about never-ending security threats, the rise in Islamic extremism, and being included on an Al Qaeda hit list. And advisor to Hillary Clinton fires at CNN, saying that they did the wrong thing by using the diary for reporting: “What [CNN is] not owning up to is reading and transcribing Chris’s diary well before bothering to tell the family or anyone else that they took it from the site of the attack. Or that when they finally did tell them, they completely ignored the wishes of the family, and ultimately broke their pledge made to them only hours after they witnessed the return to the Unites States of Chris’s remains.” Obviously, the State Department has a lot of credibility to lose (including weighing down the Obama campaign) with the release of the late Ambassador’s fears. Essentially, it says that a US Ambassador worried about a possible attack, and the State Department didn’t do enough to protect him (aka: their jobs). CNN crafts a response: …but we felt there were issues raised in the journal which required full reporting, which we did. “We think the public had a right to know what CNN had learned from multiple sources about the fears and warnings of a terror threat before the Benghazi attack which are now raising questions about why the State Department didn’t do more to protect Ambassador Stevens and other US personnel. Perhaps the real question here is why is the State Department now attacking the messenger.” It does seem odd that members of the Obama White House have no problems with releasing national security information in order for a Hollywood production to benefit (and ultimately the Obama administration’s legacy), while they condemn reporting that has less to do with popularity and more to do with holding government accountable. OBAMA? There seems to be something about him? If he wins, I hope that does not spell doom for America! As for the Jews, the Iran man is just ranting. No nation on earth has been able to eliminate the Jews. They could try and I believe they will try but they will not go far! The generation of HATERS and proponents of war and elimination are not from God. Their agenda is all well spelt out in the Bible. |
Empty boast from Iran. The sanctions are biting hard on him now, and more sanctions should be applied so that his people can rout him out. He will not even win a clean election in his own country! |
2015? That is a long way from now. May God keep us all alive. And I think my answer is NO. |
Dear Lord, please make her whole spirit, soul and body. Please save her soul and heal her body in Jesus name. Amen. |
No brainer! You'll never stop meeting people who speak so fluently but cannot write a single line of correct English. |
