7COLOURS: I AM ALSO A MEMBER OF RCCG AND BASED ON THIS, I DECIDED TO PUT MY THREE MONTHS OLD BABY IN A CRECHE OF THE CHURCH THOUGH NOT SAME BRANCH THINKING WE'LL GET THE BEST FROM THEM AND ALSO WITH THE FACT THAT IT IS BEEN RUN BY A CHURCH. NOT UP TO 2 MONTHS MY SON STARTED ATTENDING THIS CRECHE HE TOOK ILL, STOOLING, VOMITTING, ALWAYS WEAK, SLEEPING AND HAVING CATARRH.) THE SURPRISING THING IS THAT MY BABY DOESN'T SLEEP THE WAY HE DOES IN CRECHE ON WEEKENDS. WHEN I CHALLENGED THEM THEY DENIED GIVING THEM SLEEPING DRUGS BUT AFTER TIPING ONE OF THEM WITH MONEY, SHE TOLD ME THE TRUTH. I BECAME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THEIR SERVICE THUS I DECIDED TO PAY THEM A SURPRISE VISIT. I MET MY INNOCENT BABY CRYING ON THE BED AND PUTTING ON A WET CLOTH, ONE OF THEM SAID TO MY BABY NOT KNOWING I WAS CLOSE TO THE DOOR "CONTINUE TO CRY O, I DID NOT SEND UR MOTHER TO WORK" THIS IS A BABY THAT HAS BEEN ON ADMISSION AND HAS COLD. I REPORTED THE ISSUE TO THE SCHOOL AUTHORITY AND NOTHING MEANINGFUL WAS DONE INSTEAD THE CARETAKERS ON DUTY THAT DAY STARTED KEEPING MALICE WITH ME. TWO DAYS AFTER I WITHDREW MY CHILD FROM THERE AND THE COMPLAIN HAS BEEN ON THE HIGH SIDE FROM PARENTS THERAFTER.Is the creche owned by RCCG or owned by some church members? If owned by RCCG, as a member of RCCG suggest you try and report to RCCG authorities so they may take appropriate action. The church would have its standards and may just be that the people there are doing something wrong. It is good that you made a surprise visit. That is what a true mother will do. It is also true that there are wolves everywhere, wherever you find human beings. Even in the new place, you still need to make surprise visits so you dont get surprised. Personally, I do not see all this as a problem of the church but a problem of a generally corrupt people (naijas). |
If this is truly coming from a mother, wouldn't she pay a surprise visit to the creche during the day to find out what's really happening? Would you get advice on how to be a true mother in NL? Stop dragging the name of RCCG in the mud, and stop making unfounded indirect claims about pastors! |
RCCG is such a large church with several branches and some branches indeed run creches. While I am not taking brief for RCCG I think it is most unfair to use the standard in one creche run by one branch to invite aspersions to the entire church. These days people just find the easiest opportunity to throw abuses on church organizations. A member of that church should not be encouraging that. It is like throwing stones at your own house. And I think there would be some brilliant creches run by RCCG branches, even if you consider that your creche is not meeting your expectation. Anyway, please ask yourself what you want in a creche and if the one you have is not meeting up there are options to consider. First, make your observations and complaints known to the person running it or second option - move your child. You will be doing good to that creche if you make your complaints known before you move the child. That can also give you the chance to hear the other side of the story. Maybe the parents are not paying up, for instance, and the runner had to start to manage her time better. Check well before you move, so you are not running from 'frying pan' to 'fire'. So creches are big and established but you wont have that luxury of calling the manager everyday asking questions on every little detail. Its your choice at the end of the day. |
Where are they shipping the monies to? It may mean that they have been doing it a long time but they are only just being caught! |
So, what's PhD in Nigeria? |
Another way of saying - go and face your own business...there is no oil for us in Mali! |
One waste after another.... |
Likely to succeed at Chelsea. He is a very good manager. |
When will they start arresting the real owners? |
olivertwist: Alright. Now I understand. This is a kind of preparation for what is coming in January. The usual tactic. Mallam Sanusi will say economy is not growing. Madam Ngozi will say govt cannot meet its targets bcoz of lack of fund. Madam Deiziani - the minister of petroleum will ask for removal of oil subsidy, the President will announce the increase of petroleum price & the removal of oil subsidy saying, it is the only means by which he can build infrastructures.EVERY DAY FOR THE THIEF ONE DAY FOR THE OWNER! IT MAY NOT BE THAT EASY NEXT TIME..... |
Chelsea will continue to flop as long as they remain intolerant. Is it that easy to win all matches? Even Man City with all the dollars they doled out have found it difficult in Europe. Small team Norwich defeated giant MU. Did that call for a sack? Chelsea fans should find how they will sack ROMAN before the club goes into the abbyss! |
Aro Computer Ce: These telecom companies are draining Nigerians of their hard earned money. Can Glo explain to Nigerians what happened to the previous internet services they lunched in the past. I hate marketers who make all kinds of deceptive noise just to sell their products. Today, it is glo bolt. When the bolt is worn out after 3months, they will launch glo thunder. Whatever names they call it, their bandwidth is from the same platform. All Nigerians want is improvement in service delivery.Advertisers here go free with that kind of crime, promising what cannot be delivered. They will do that until people start to sue and courts start to defend innocent and victimized customers. Deceptive noise indeed. Bolt ko, nuts ni! |
I cant be fooled by their gimmicks. All of the networks pick from the same source and they just hire spin doctors to cook up some names to lure consumers....well done advertisers..bolt ko, nuts ni. |
SLS is beginning to wake up! Where have they been cooking up the figures of the past months? there is hardly any business remaining in the north. Flood has taken over farms. Telecoms companies have turned to coupon companies. Retail businesses have been closing. There is 'To LET' all over the place where you used to have thriving business....yet they were talking of growth. Even the Oil majors have been slowing shifting their prime investments to Angola and Ghana and have been watching us deliberate on PIB for the last how many years. The only growing sector seems to be COMEDY and MUSIC..FG, wake up, CBN, wake up, this slumber has been too long. |
Representathieves! |
The president eats ONLY twice a day! Why would they need all that money then? When the head stinks the whole body is sick! N30m to feed animals? And the man has the mouth to say that? What was he defending? In a country where you do not have a single hospital where the first lady can go to 'rest' or where you cant treat a sick governor! Oh, how appalling, how sad, that people get into Aso Rock and simply lose their sense of reasoning. I agree so strongly with the people who say that Aso Rock should be turned to a hospital or a school, and the occupants should be sent back to their private houses to govern from there! Take a cue from Ghana where the president went to his office every morning from his house. No wonder Ghana is completely taking the shine from this weak and senseless 'giant' so called. Nigeria, repent! |
Has the key suspect confessed to the killing? I suggest that the Police do a thorough investigation. |
Frankbaro: I've known both Bishop Kukah and Pastor Bakare as men of God dat are outspoken and stand 4 d truth, irrespective of who is involved. And they are acting according 2 type. Thank God we still have such honest men in a rotten bunch.Let God be the judge. |
When people visit from those countries CPC is talking about they wonder how Nigerians are able to watch several channels (example all the EPL matches) whereas in their countries you pay extra for popular programmes. CPC should be careful that they are not going to short-change Nigerians in the long run. The per-second billing that people are citing has not yielded extra for Nigerians. The GSM operators know how to cut you off after 3 seconds so you have to redial again. In fact they charge you even when you have not used your credit at all. To whose benefit is that? Fellow Nigerians, read between the lines! |
Aviation is a critical sector. It has suffered from the economic downturn in the country. Corruption is the problem. Allowing an investor like Virgin to quit was a mistake. I hope they dont make a grave mistake with Manitoba in the power sector. Already, there are negative vibes about Nigeria in the way Manitoba is being handled. When will our rulers learn? |
Yomieluv: All sectors are stagnant, Nigeria is a shame to developing countriesIs Nigeria really a developing country? |
While I am in no position to defend any pastor that is acquiring a jet, I feel that there is a wrong notion in the public that church people are always poor and must always be poor. Some years ago, a pastor of a church acquired a brand new Toyota car here in Lagos and some people thought the man had missed it. But how many Toyota cars do you have in churches today? Unknown to many, aircraft will someday be revolutionized very soon and people will not have to pack themselves like sardines in economy class because you may just be able to acquire a craft for yourself that you can fly yourself to anywhere you want. Its already happening if you watch documentaries and follow innovation. At any rate, I think it is backward thinking to assume church people are poor and must remain poor. I hope that some pastors are not taking this issue of attacking fellow pastors to a very unhealthy level! |
Many happy returns to our dear President. We rejoice with you and family. |
yasaa: No Politician was entirely truthful on the outside, but Goodluck Jonathan is an honest man in the inside, at least to his wife. LolzThe blame must go to the those who claimed they lied on behalf of the man. Did anyone force them to lie? Were they not the initiators of the lies? |
Don't lie on anyone's behalf! |
dollyptosh: black men dont resign. Fmr. minister of state for finance Mr remi babalola resigned sha.And he was sincere to tell Nigerians the truth that they all have been evading: Nigeria is broke! Remi and not anyone else was also the first to point out the subsidy gaps and how a mighty hole was being created at NNPC. he must have been forced to resign because he exposed the FG. Abati may follow very soon if fails to read between the lines. |
We hope that at the rate we are going Togo and Niger does not end up deporting Nigerians. |
Arrangee! Will your questions be heard? |
By who? |
Hello, first recover the stolen trillions from subsidy thieves. Even Cosmas Maduka is moving fast to recover his own money. That's just one individual. How come the state is only just messing around. Recover the stolen trillions and I think that will be enough to set up a few refineries. Heed good advice and do not set the house on fire again come January 1. Your Nigerian advisers donot have anything to lose. They will go to Maldives, Bahamas etc to continue to enjoy the loot while their refineries in Niger, Senegal etc will keep running and exporting to the country they helped to ravage. FG is always talking about 'subsidy removal' and not deregulation. They know what they are doing. They say that because you can always 'remove subsidy', so there is no end to the game. From IBB to Abacha, to OBJ to Yaradua to GEJ there has been 'subsidy removal' but this regime wants to beat them all in magnitude and frequency. But we believe that God will save Nigeria. |
