musiwa26: smiley
it was planed because. they know the hausa/fulani will not vote for jang because of the jos crisis... so they put him in the race to make amachie win.
Brilliant. Look at the way Akpabio and Jang were fooled by the northern politicians. Who would imagine thatt the northern governors would vote en-masse for GEJ backed Jang, at a time they all felt GEJ stabbed them by the emergency rule he proclaimed!

Being of 'Nigerian descent' does not make him a Nigerian citizen. Why are there so many half illiterates in Nigeria today? Why all the fuss? The boys are of 'Nigerian descent' just like they say that Obama is of Kenyan descent!
Politics › Re: Jonathan Recovers Ajaokuta Steel From Global Steel by Dee60: 9:55pm On May 24, 2013
I am confident that GEJ will do well in the next 2 years and I also think he will eventually pull out of 2015! My prediction.
Politics › Re: Governors In State Of Emergency Lose Power by Dee60: 9:43pm On May 24, 2013
They vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ. Now its GEJ's turn to make their homes and towns unbearable for them. Hunger knocks! BH boys will eat up their sponsors now like rams.

chris365: Guy, this is one of the reasons i hate western media with a passion.
They failed to mention that a british soldier was butchered like a chicken, close to a military baracks, they even waited and shot a video. So am guessing the whole thing lasted for about an hour.
Instead of aknowledging failure of intelligence and response from their security personel, and even by-standers that were watching the whole thing. The only thing they can come up with is that they are ''Nigerians''
I can bet you that before this incident, if you ask those boys their origin, they'll tell you they are British. And that's the truth.
These guys were born and raised in Britain just like every other Nigerians there that deny their country and abuse it on Nairaland.
The truth is that, 'this is an embarrassment to the british Government' and they are trying to cover it up by linking it to Nigeria. Because we are also facing the problem of terrorism.
please Nigerians, let us not accept this. It is wrong and a shame to the British press.
when boko haram were bombing hundreds of people, they called them 'militants', 'secessionists', 'freedom fighters'.
now two men hacked a soldier to death and they were so quick to call them terrorists.
i only blame Nigerians that will swallow every news the British and American media dish out to them. those guys are just tools for their Government to deceive the world.
you guys should have seen on AL-jazeera as they called those boys British. that's why i love that station."filled with professional journalists'
They are of Nigerian descent. British media has not done anything wrong. We are quick to claim that Obama is of Kenyan descent. There are Nigerians doing great things in this same UK. One is very prominent in the parliament. We are happy to be associated with them. We are happy when they link them to Nigeria. No sense denying that these guys are of Nigerian descent and they are of Yoruba descent as well. I am a Yoruba man, before yyou start screaming black and blue.

That said, you have lunatics in every country. These guys did not show the true Nigerian character. they showed lunatism. The British people are not accusing Nigeria. They are only pointing to their origin.

It is not right to just critize anything west or anything Nigerian.

Politics › Re: British-born Michael Adeboloja Labelled A Nigerian: Why? by Dee60: 4:27pm On May 23, 2013
The question is not necessary. Even if he is not a Nigerian, there are Nigerians exhibiting WORSE behaviour. let us stop pretending. BH has been beheading people up north for the past 2 years. BH people are NIGERIANS!

Also, in Nigeria, there are people selling human heads. That rarely happens in Britain.

All mankind need salvation from sin and wickedness. The heart of man is desperately wicked.
Politics › Re: British-born Michael Adeboloja Labelled A Nigerian: Why? by Dee60: 4:16pm On May 23, 2013
I wonder o!

The British media has not called him Nigerian. The British government has not called him Nigerian either. Instead, they called him a Briton of Nigerian descent, which is absolutely correct.

It is us Nigerians calling him 'Nigerian' because his name is Nigerian. For all you care, he may never have seen Lagos, not even in a film.

Forget about where he is from. call him a man possessed by a lunatic spirit that needed deliverance, and we pray he still gets delivered.

Will the judge sentence them to 45 years again?

ACN states are really getting out of hands, gradually, particularly Lagos and Osun.
Politics › Re: Building On Weekends & Public-Holidays Banned In Lagos by Dee60: 7:37pm On May 22, 2013
By the way, who will catch those who disobey the law? The same regulators who cannot regulate on weekends and public holidays?

Another Lagos ban that will end up giving officials good room for extorting money from the citizens, in my opinion.
Politics › Re: Building On Weekends & Public-Holidays Banned In Lagos by Dee60: 7:32pm On May 22, 2013
gtrust: People work weekends!
why can they (Inspectors/regulators/ministry of works) not work weekendshuh
Why don't they ask to report if you want to do construction on the weekend so they can put someone on callhuh
Thank you very much o jare. This policy is very silly indeed. In a cosmopolitan city like Lagos, why are regulators not working extra hours on matters bordering on growth and development? Yet, their so called traffic managers hide in corners on saturdays looking for culprits from whom they will demand egunje!

I wonder what will become of these ACN 'I too know' people in the next elections? Time will tell.
Politics › Re: Ombatse Militiamen Attack Herdsmen Again by Dee60: 2:36pm On May 22, 2013
The Fulani incursion into different places is another agenda to make Nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan, I should think. He has to rise up to it and find a solution.
Politics › Re: Ombatse Militiamen Attack Herdsmen Again by Dee60: 2:33pm On May 22, 2013
Can Fulanis stop grazing on people's farmlands? This is 2013. For how long would they remain nomads?

Nigerians do not realize that this is potentially another BH matter! Powerful elements in Nigeria are rallying behind the Fulanis and that is giving them the guts to continue to graze around, even on other people's farms. Why make money destroying other people's means of livelihood? There must be a solution.

This group would not have been if farmlands were not grazed. I dont want to take sides but there should be a solution for this grazing. The Fulanis need to buy land and keep ranches, or FG should buy for them. I also will not accept if I am a farmer and all my crop is destroyed by travelling nomads. Not in 2013, please!
Politics › Re: Buhari Asks Jonathan To Resign Over Insecurity by Dee60: 12:36pm On May 22, 2013
GEJ needs te real people of Yobe, Borno and Adamawa to supports his efforts to quash BH. In that sense, the soldiers indeed MUST act professionally so that BH does not win the sympathy of the people. The people will be watching to determine which one is the bigger evil: BH or Emergency Rule.
Politics › Re: Sanusi To FG: Dont Overspend On Military Operations, by Dee60: 9:18am On May 22, 2013
He did not complain against amnesty, which would involve 'overspending' and now he is complaining that the army is deploying its somewhat idle resources to quash terrorism! Sometimes you are tempted to think that the northern elites have some hand in this whole BH thing!

Is BH the military wing of the political north?
Politics › Re: Fasehun Of OPC - 'Nobody Can Stop Jonathan' by Dee60: 3:57pm On May 21, 2013
Tinubu may have goofed with his alliance with Buhari, but Fasheun has zero reckoning in South West. It wont amount to anything if GEJ awards him the billions. Sometimes you wonder who is advising Jonathan!

Amen. That day also the subsidy thieves, the political elite and gangs that have raped Nigeria could be cooling in jails around the country!
Education › Re: 2 Killed At OOU Student Protest by Dee60: 3:04pm On May 20, 2013
Students do not know how to hold peaceful protests!

Police men have not been trained on how to manage riots!

My suggestion - Students should find more innovative ways to press for demands.

All past riots of students have been ineffective. Students are shot. Then the school is closed. Students beg to go back to school, promising no more protests....mass failure is recorded...some graduate...Nothing has changed!

Real Madrid players are really good and they did they best. They only need to do something about their unruly behavior. Mourinho and co can be such a set of bad losers. Its not more than a game after all and you wonder why they always fight at the sidelines.

Ronaldo even atempted to chop someone's nose off with his boots. Well deserved straight red.
Politics › Re: Senate Says President Has Not Declared Any State Of Emergency by Dee60: 2:26pm On May 17, 2013
GEJ, now you will be more popular for showing you can solve big problems. Ride on.

Senate is playing politics. If its Budgetting or money sharing now they would have swung into action.
Is it now crystal clear?

I have said it severally here in the past, that boko-haram enjoys active support and sympathy from northern muslims. I am yet to meet one (northern muslim) who is yet to condemn this group.

Tinibu continue playing politics with peoples' lives.
For once Okupe made sense saying to Tinubu that he (Tinubu) committed political suicide with APC. The north cannot be trusted with power again, not in the next 20 years.

I thought that the idea behind innovation is to make something better. Sorry, I have tasted this Cassava bread and just dont like it! Cassava is good as Garri and will rather soak garri than eat cassava in bread! I dont see tis going far. Not in Nigeria. May be Tanzania.
Politics › Re: ACN Condemns Declaration Of State of Emergency! by Dee60: 4:17pm On May 15, 2013
How would ACN have solved this problem?

I beg, enough of the mindless killing. Action must be taken against terrorists and Mr President is correct. BH has a choice to disarm now and surrender completely, and then seek amnesty.

This BH of a thing must have some level of political involvement and I suspect that a good number of elite northerners are behind it. Now they have gone quiet again!

It will take a very long time before any northern moslem can win presidential elections in Nigeria again!
Politics › Re: 2,000 Soldiers, Jets Deployed To Borno by Dee60: 9:09am On May 15, 2013
Those northern 'leaders' should realize now that the game is over and signal to their BH brothers to drop their arms.

And the north will pay for this. For a long time to come no norther muslim will be president!
