Please help me. I'm drowning.

First, don't panic. Look up, look around for a strong branch to hold on to. Don't let it go lest u drown. Use it as ur anchor. God? A friend? A counsellor? A pastor?

I am feeling very depressed right now.

I am so heartbroken, I don't know what to do. I feel like I gave my marriage my all, I followed all the rules of a good wife, I read books, i don't know what I could have done differently.

Your problem now is that u feel stuck. Step out of ur rut. You are smart. You have options. 1001 of them. Think about this. Let the freedom of knowing this wash over u this minute.

I wanted to die to get away from my life, but now I didn't die, i'm happy he came home in time to rescue me.

You are stronger than u think u are. Reach deeper into u NOW.

This man has made me CRAZY.

Nobody can make u crazy without your permission. Quit the victim talk. Take back your power. Run things hence. Have a showdown talk with your husband. Let him know how much u hurt. Then draw boundaries in your marriage. Let him know which lines are no-go areas and be strong enough to mete out consequences when he steps out of agreed lines.

I feel like God has allowed a trial too great for me to handle to come my way. I feel like he over-rated my strength. I am just 27. Isn't it too soon for me to face this kind of life challenge?

Life challenges are life lessons. If u pass this test, u will be promoted and happy. If u fail it, misery may dine with u.

And yes. Pray. The word works.

Often times people give so many interpretations to Ojukwu actions and his ultimate desire to establish a new country for the Eastern region and possibly a new one for the Midwest, while absorbing Anioma into Biafra, for that was the ultimate goal.

Often time, these interpretations are made through a bias prism and innate Igbophobia from Nigerians.

On that note, I find Nyerere's non bias, humanist and pan African take on Biafra so
refreshing and interesting.

Soyinka has sacrificed for the Igbo more than any non-Igbo I know. He deserves some respect from us.

He attacked the pre-war Gowon government for looking the other way while Igbos died. He called out the Yoruba elite and media for keeping silent while Igbos were being slaughtered in the '66 pogrom. He called them names. He said they were opportunists. Read The Man Died. It was a very contrarian and unpopular thing to do then.

He defended the Igbo cause in the days leading to the civil war and made visits to the east. It was an unpopular thing to do then. But Soyinka couldn't care less. He was jailed for years because of this...

He almost paid with his life.

Many years after, Soyinka has remained consistent in defending the downtrodden and in fighting oppression. He has activism in his DNA.

He couldn't have said that. He just couldn't. It's not in his character.

He deserves a special place in every Igbo man's heart. He deserves our respect. He deserves our gratitude.

Carlos Ancelloti no be Keshi oo. He absolutely knows what he wants and if Mikel fits into his plan, what else? He signs him in..
For those saying that he will be benched, please can you see the future?? Every players had his qualities, if Mikel has the qualities that Carlos Ancelloti is looking for, he will get to play..
We all know that Mourinho is sentimental, he can bench a player for no just cause..
I greatly believe in the potential of John Obi Mikel. He had always been a fantastic player, I believe Carlos Ancelloti will use him to his Optimum..
Makele wins balls. Mikel rarely. The only similarity is that they both sit back. They are not in the same class.

Mikel should go to a lesser club where he can get enough playing time. My loving advice.

teeowl:
It pisses me off when Igbos look at the Biafran campaign with pride!

* Look guys, Ojukwu was a bloody bastard!

* His singular actions lead to death of over 1 million Igbo civilians.

* He killed his own high ranking soldiers because they were Negotiating a deal with the British to surrender to Nigeria - because they wanted to prevent the incoming civilian deaths that they for-saw.

* Innocent Igbo men and women that were NOT in support of the war died.

* Biafran soldiers that were NOT previously in the Nigerian Army suffered for the rest of their lives... amputated arms and legs and all.

* Ojukwu ran like a coward to Ivory Coast... why did the brave "Igbo" leader NOT fight and die with his soldiers like King Leonidas of Sparta?

* A lot of Igbo civilians wanted a diplomatic solution to the tension that was happening after the first ever coup (the Igbo Majors coup) in Nigeria.

* I remember an Igbo man (during my IT) who told me that his father (he was NEVER in support of the war - he had too much to lose) was a palm kernel farmer and exporter and lost ALL his money that he buried in their palm kernel farm, simply because the currency was changed and during the war they could not go and change the money in a bank outside the Eastern region.

* If you objectively look at the origin of the problem and Ojukwu's action, you would know that Biafra was a mistake and Ojukwu's ambition and stupidity caused the death of Innocent Igbo babies, children, women and men that had no say in whether they wanted war or not

* Did Ojukwu consult with the whole Eastern region and Igbo nation before he decided to secede and declare war? NO NO NO... the bastard (Ojukwu) did not... it was not all the Igbo's and South easterners that were in support of the war!

* Igbos, please stop hailing/praising the Biafra war or Ojukwu... PLEASE!

* Some mother fvckers would be shouting war as if war is a beautiful thing.... have you seen your friend or brother die in front of you because of a knife wound? Multiply the pain by a million times, then you get the feeling of what war can do to you!

* Do you know what it feels like to see your own baby die in your presence? Answer me... f00lish Ojukwu and Biafra worshipers! Thousands of Igbo mothers saw their babies and children die in their very presence!
And your point is? Are you Igbo? How dare you tell a people how to feel about a hurt? How disrespectful?

Nigeria number 1 citizen, Aguiyi Ironsi, is murdered in the revenge coup and it wasn't enough revenge. An entire generation of Igbo officers were then wiped off in the revenge coup and it wasn't still enough revenge? These were not enough revenge for the north/Nigeria?

Igbos then deeply felt Nigeria really wanted to wipe them off after the 3- month pogrom in which over 100, 000 Igbo civilians had been killed all over the North and other parts of the country without government protection. A weak Gowon government had even announced he could not guarantee their safety. Who does that?

When the mantra was kill the Igbos because they are the problem of Nigeria, how exactly did you want them to react?

Do you punish an entire tribe for the sins of a few soldiers? Only in Nigeria!

With what happened in Asaba (GENOCIDE), How dare u blame the rest of the Igbo nation for fighting to the last man?

Read this quote:

"There has been genocide on the occasion of the 1966 massacres, the region between the towns of Benin and Asaba where only widows and orphans remain, federal troops having, for unknown reasons, massacred all the men" (Paris Le Monde, 5th April, 1968).

Now, read this:

I want to see no Red Cross, no Caritas, no World Council of Churches, no Pope, no missionary and no UN delegation. I want to prevent even one Ibo from having even one piece to eat before their capitulation. We shoot at everything that moves and when our troops march into the centre of Ibo territory, we shoot at everything even at things that do not move, "
( Benjamin Adekunle. Commander, 3rd Marine Commando Division, Nigerian Army to French radio reporter). ",

And read the meanest:
"Let us go and crush them. We will pillage their property, despoil their womenfolk, kill off their menfolk and leave them uselessly weeping. We will complete the pogrom of 1966"
(The theme song of Radio Kaduna, government-controlled, 1967-1970).

Now this war to the Igbo was: fight a people that hate you or be slaughtered to the last man. This was the psychology of that war from the Biafran perspective. It was not about Ojukwu. This was why men fought with sticks against bombs. It was about survival. And it's why Ojukwu is a hero. He had many flaws but defending the Igbo nation was not one of them.

So why cry more than the bereaved?
PoliticsRe: African Countries Happy Over President Jonathan’s Defeat – Obasanjo by DeeMain(m): 9:24pm On Apr 24, 2015
OBJ should bury himself in shame. He single-handedly brought Nigeria to the precipice with his greed, pettiness and lack of vision.

Choosing the two most unqualified persons of Yaradua and GEJ in the whole of Nigeria to rule us was the genesis and pivot of all these problems we've been bedevilled with.

A very sick Yaradua, who almost died during his campaigns and an incompetent GEJ who's only positive was his unalloyed loyalty to Alams and laid-back attitude.

The SS didn't choose GEJ. In the whole of the South-south, he could not find one competent person to represent the region, not Donald Duke, not Tonye Princewill, no technocrat, nobody with proven mettle?

The choice he made for the SS is the problem. That choice changed everything.

How can any sane person make the choices he made except the person is egomaniacal and self-serving? OBJ abeg go and sit down joor.

This story is uniquely South African, yet not uniquely South African. The question should be, "What is wrong with the black man?" Africa is a story of tribal hate, wars and killings too. Even in Nigeria our history is replete with tribalism, ethnocentricism, 'xenophobia', religious riots, ethnic killings, pogroms, even genocide.

While we deservedly condemn SA for this evil they are inflicting on their fellow African brothers and sisters, let us also spare a thought for how we sometimes treat and hate each other in this country.

Pls, I want you to clarify a point here before the whole thread turn to tribal war.

Why is it that Igbos always deal with Issues from what was done to them as people but not what they Igbos have done to others? Life is all about Igbos bro.

If Igbos could address this, half of Igbos problem with others is half solved my friend.

I m yet to see an Igbo man that is interested in what happened prior to Pogrom in the North.

I am yet to see an Igbo man who is interested in how Northern, western and middle belt leaders were callously killed and maimed.

I m yet to see an Igbo man to address why Aguiyi Ironsi singlehandedly destroyed our well maintained regional system of government.

I m yet to see an Igbo man to address why Igbo formed political alliance with the Northern Oligarchy twice and at the detriment of southern part of the country.

My friend, if someone has done one of these to Igbo people, what would have been your view today?
I think with what u've been spewing here that u and ur friend are both bigoted. You've stereotyped the Igbo again and again yet act self-righteous.

Now, here is an Igbo view point for u to chew on:

Few people in d army (4 Igbos and a Yoruba) plots a coup which fails, killing some prominent men from other tribes while the plan fails in the east. They fail to kill an Igbo.

In your bigoted mind it was right for the whole Igbo to be made to pay for a failed army coup?

The Igbo Head of State, Nigeria's number 1 citizen was murdered in the counter coup and that wasn't enough revenge. An entire generation of Igbo army officers is wiped out and it was still not enough. Then the final straw, over 100,000 innocent women, children and men are slaughtered in cold blood in the ensuing pogrom with the government of the day looking the other way while telling the world he could not guarantee Igbo safety. And u are saying they were murdered for the right reason? They were the aggressor?

What the original coupists did was evil but why visit d sins of coup plotters on their tribe? Do coup plotters announce in village squares about their intended coups and wait for concurrence from the people before they strike?

Why haven't Nigeria visited the entire north with a pogrom for Boko Haram and for the many religious riots and killings of years gone by? Why aren't we killing all the northerners because of Boko Haram?

Instead of Nigeria to find ways to heal that wound and pacify a wronged ppl, many were justifying it, till this day. Today, we are back to square one - a deeply wounded, traumatized and divided nation.

Remove the bigot in your own eyes before castigating your friend for his. Both of you need help. Serious help.

HealthRe: Help, Can Her Husband Big Manhood Afect The Flow Of Her Period by DeeMain(m): 6:55pm On Apr 04, 2015
Think stress, stress, stress! Anything that can constitute stress internally can can lead to menstrual flow irregularity. In this case, fear = stress.

Does the big pennis trigger a phobic response in her? Is she visibly afraid of the big penis? Is she visibly afraid of having sex with her husband?
Does she have a history of sexual abuse? Has she been raped before? Does she have a past history of trauma, fear or pain?

The penis may be a direct cause or an indirect one. It's direct if the size of the penis is solely responsible for her fear. It's indirect if the sex or the penis' size is triggering a past subconscious trauma or fear.

Overwhelming Fear leads to the triggering of the the fight or flight response which can lead to hormonal imbalance and affect menstrual flow.

So, it's possible.

In older days what Elnathan lacks was called wisdom. Today, it's called Emotional Intelligence, EQ.

Chimamanda already said she could never win this case in the court of public opinion because most of the context is lost on the public.

Some facts in this case:
Mentor = Chimamanda
Mentee = El Nathan

Fact. Anybody who thinks otherwise needs an extended course on critical reasoning.

She'd been a mentor to a talented El Nathan who had come under her tutelage and had gone out of her way to make sure the guy succeeds by giving him a rare opportunity with her publisher - an opportunity of a life time.

And the mentee's ego could not stomach being called a boy by his mentor? And because of that he torpedos a massive opportunity and the entire relationship he'd cultivated for long?

And u guys are hailing him? Common guys!

El Nathan is a murutum imkpavum. Period. For wisdom is profitable to direct...

BROS, the nigeria army was dead equipment wise. The last time amored tank or infantry fighting vehicle was bought was in the 70ties during shagaries time. Same with our alpha, l39 albatross and mig21 jets. Obasanjo when he came 1999 bought 12 mi24 attack helo and some chinese copies of same old mig 21 we earlier had. All this equipments are so obsulete in present day warfare.
The question on why the military did not achive much since? Simple. You can fight but you wount have decisive military edge over your enemy if you fight with same arms your opponent has and in this case they are multivated by jihad!
See jonathan tried to arm the military through our supposed western partners. The usa blocked it after several orders had been made. Nigeria also hoped to benefit from the usa suplus afganistan and iraq hardware which usa offered to its allies free. You only pay for servicing and upgrades. The usa delayed nigeria till the last moment before refusing and cancelling our orders citing human rights. Dont forget buying military equipment is not like going to buy a car. It takes time. Some have to be made or modified to your peculiar needs. They blocked us in Uk, brasil, Israel etc because equipment made there contain usa components. Nigeria had to face russia, uchraine, belarus, south africa, china, and isreali coded arms dealers to get arms! Hence the scandal of the money found in a private jet. Jonathan bought 77 pcs of the latest t72 tanks, dozens of bmp infantory fighting vehicles, mi 35 helos upgraded to the highest level, armed drones, su 24 ground attack jets, mi 17 taminators helos, lynx attach helos etc. The urgency to have this equipments in the country was so much we had to airfreight them in And guess what? Saudi arabia blocked their airspace to aircrafts carring arms to nigeria cos boko haram is sunni muslim like them. All this were delays to our equipment comming in.
The good news Is that 40 or so percent of our equipment is in town and my people, I say my people! Bokoharam na thing of the past oh! The arms jonathan has procured for our military is unprecedented. After egypt na us oh. Nigeria armed forces is no longer super on paper but in action. Hell, 4 ships were launched for the navy in 1 day!
Rubbish! GEJ slept while Nigeria burned! Simples. He woke up too late.

Arms procurement by sovereign nations is no big deal bro. There are just so many nations in the world willing to sell to anyone. If US blocks you, go to Russia, is that rocket science? Imagine Gaddafi or the Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, saying "I don't have arms to fight terrorists or rebels because US is blocking arms sale to me." It doesn't compute, right?

And it takes a President all of 5 years plus to get ready to fight internal terrorism? Gej and PDP were busy playing politics, playing the victim saying northern politicians had vowed to make his government ungovernable and that the terrorists were after his government because he is not from the north, instead of doing his job, seeing the BH menace as the full scale terrorist group that was coming for the soul of the country that it was.

This President played the victim istead of confronting the monster.

GEJ already confessed last week that he underrated BH. How does a govt underrate a lethal internal terror group?

GEJ just has to go.
