@Poster:
I understand your situation. It's a hard one. But just try and be diplomatic about it.

I loff my father very very very much! Infact I love him more than any other child in the world does their parent. cool
However, if my power no reach, e no reach!! And he'd have to understand that.
FamilyRe: My Wedding Was Stoped By My Husband Because Of His Friend's Death by DeepSoul(f): 11:47pm On Jul 22, 2010
Moral Lesson: [s]Do not carry belle for a man UNTIL he marries you![/s] Do not engage in pre-marital sex.

The story sha. E get as e be. Methinks the man should have gone ahead with the wedding. Me also thinks it was irresponsible of him not to. Considering the devastating news he'd just received, they could have just made the wedding very low key. Eg, had a short church ceremony and made a very short appearance at the Reception (explanations could have been given to the guests by sm1 else).

They could have even decided not to attend the reception. It could have still held their absence.

It would have been hard, yeah. But isn't life hard anyway? undecided
I am strongly against abusive men. But this is one case where I think the man in question should be forgiven for slapping her (especially if it's the first time). No justifications. . . .but. . . . undecided

If the woman wasn't pregnant, I'd advise her to leave him.
But because she's pregnant, she just has to stick with him. . .Too late to turn back. . .too much baggage.

And by the way, this woman sef, if your love for your husband just vanished because of what happened, it means you never truly loved him.

FamilyRe: Is Marriage Now Old-fashioned? by DeepSoul(f): 11:14pm On Jul 19, 2010
Oh wow, Thelmabee, that was a fantastic reply. Very engaging!

greateros:
and for this reason a man will leave his father and his mother, bla bla bla

the bible neva says he/or she shld leave his father/mother permanently. Do u knw how disastrous it is to eat beans everyday? do u knw what it feels like to see jollof rice and u cant eat it even when u badly needs to eat it? Its called frustration! marriage breeds frustration and humans are created to cherish freedom! (dats y dey breakout from the so called eden!).

Marriage is one of man's worst institution, it is seriously dying today bc people want their freedom! u can imagine getting married to a man dat c-u-ms in a second and it takes him another 48hrs to get anoda silly erection and yet u r mandated to live wit him till u die! U can imagine getting married to a woman dat hates experimental sex and yet u r mandated to live with her till u die. Gosh wat a frustration!

Based on my observation, Marriage as an institution will be dead before the year 2090! Y bc people are cherishing their freedom more every day!

Marriage is a death sentence to any married couple. Any happy marriage u see is a pretense!
Seriously, you have got to be kidding, right?? shocked
Does your Bible say he/she should leave his father/mother temporarily?? Are you kidding?!
From what you have said so far, it's clear that your problem with marriage is staying faithful to one person all your life.
You are not to be judged, my friend. However, that problem of yours isn't peculiar to EVERYBODY.
Eating beans everyday is called maturity.
Declining to eat Jollof rice even when it's staring at you in the face requires self control.
I'm glad you feel this way abt marriage tho. That way, you don't get to punish any woman smiley

Awww, sowwwy poster. We have all felt some sort of pain at some point or the other. . .

You just have to ride it out. . .If you're a Christian, praying to God helps. . .ask Him to heal your heart. . .

Like someone said, crying isn't such a bad thing. Methinks it's even therapeutic sef.

Just be strong. . .and be patient. . .and guess what??

This too shall definitely pass!

Funny post grin

@Poster:
Is she planning to stay at your house? If yes, make sure you buy 1,000 litres of petrol for your generator if not NEPA go just put san san for your garri.

Incase your house might not be condusive enough for her, make sure you have enough money for accomodation in PROTEA or SHERATON.

As for food, you can devise a way to make her fall in love with IINDOMIE. It's just about N35. That way, you don't get to spend so much on food wink

And lastly, I hope you speak better than you write. If you don't, that will mean extra expenses for you because you'd have to engage the services of a TRANSLATOR.

I wish you "sussess" cool
RomanceRe: The Married Woman Without A Head (of The House?) by DeepSoul(f): 9:56pm On Jul 15, 2010
This isn't reason enough for her to leave her husband.
She allowed herself get pregnant for someone she barely knew - that shows some serious character flaws.
She has to spare her innocent child the trauma and face the consequences of her actions.

I have a family friend in the same situation.
In her case, her husband has declared that "God has called him to ministry" hence his refusal to go out and work.
They've been married for more than 10years now and she's still with him.
I guess she's doing it for her kids' sake.

Your friend shld try to clear the mess SHE made.
People complain about the new breed of Lazy Nigerian Men.
Nobody's talking about the new breed of women who do not have "Morals" and "Perseverance" in their dictionaries!

Thank God for the decoders.

@Poster:
your babe is definitely not born again. If she were, she would not "go all the way" with you.
2ndly, she'd wouldn't be comfortable being in a r/ship with you because her spirit no go gree with urs.
Ther's usually no r/ship btwn light and darkness.
I no dey judge oh! Just correcting your statement.

@Question:
You should tell her. It would be unfair to her if you didnt. If you end up marrying her based on this huge deceit, she'll most likely find out along the line, whn u guys are married already. And that might be the end of the marriage. And God help you if you've had kids by then.

Please spare urself and your unborn kids the wahala,
