Why ask a question without being prepared for whatever the answer will be?
If you don't have the maturity and a strong heart to accept a person's filthy past, It's better to deal with him/her as seen than to fish out old stuff which you can't handle. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Pls Help! A Church Is About To Render My Brother Useless by delpee(f): 1:21pm On Apr 12, 2021 |
Stories like this makes me believe that one is safer with the orthodox Churches and a few well set up Pentecostal Churches. This is because they have established principles, procedures and measures put in place to guard against such outrageous behaviour.
Most fake Pastors run fraudulent personal businesses hiding under religion. It's the easiest way to dupe gullible people who can't understand that God has empowered us all to fight our battles.
Anyone can wake up one day and call himself Pastor without any form of training or tutelage. It's a business strictly designed to defraud innocent people who are not well versed in the scriptures.
@OP It's a pity but tieing him up is against the law. Please involve NGOs who deal with human rights issues. Be proactive lest the "Pastor" goes to the Police with a different story and you end up struggling to defend yourself.
May God deliver your brother from this evil bondage. |

Iamdemola1: They said they went to Ijeh centre and couldn't get it as even foreigners were given VIP treatment I went to Falomo centre as advised and had no issues. You simply queue outside and wait for them to check IDs and give numbers. The foreigners were there but there was no visible VIP treatment especially after the social media brouhaha. I don't know anyone there by the way. I joined the queue like many others who just took a chance. LASG officials and the Police tried hard to ensure fairness as far as I could see. Only young people who could not be attended to under any of the Phase 1 categories were sent back after due explanation. |

We are Olukumi and everyone knows that we are Yoruboid. True. I've read a lot about that. Olukumi means "my friend/confidant" in Yoruba language. They are known as "Lucumi" in South American slave history so they've come a long way. A version of history says that the Yorubas that left Ife to move eastward, during the wars, are the Olukumis in Delta today. |

Same way they are attaching Aworis to yoruba. Aworis are Yoruba. They are descendants of Olofin Ogunfunminire, one of the sons of Oduduwa who came from Ile Ife to Lagos. |

That's why many Christians have no issues paying tithe. Beyond the Private Jets that people see and emphasize on, a lot is being done with the money to positively impact lives and society.
So many people have been trained both formally and informally by the Church. Many decadent lives have been restored without any noise. It is well with our souls. |

tradepunter: Nope they didn't shoot it down because they don't have the capacity yet... They have STA missiles mostly for helicopter gunship.
I think it would have been lost of communication signals with the operational base, because fighter jets fly blind... They mostly utilize constant signals from base and communication satellite
Or our second hypothesis is that the terrorist have gotten hold spoofing technology... This tech was used by isis to crepple the Iraqi airforce... So there is a possibility that the tech is already here.
It works mostly by interfering with the coordinates transmission process the just uses when moving.
Boko Haram and isis have been harmerd by the airforce so it will only be logical to seek such technology Hmmm! If this holds true, there's trouble ahead. |

pocohantas: Lol. Same question I used to ask myself when I see them on Instagram.
We should all pray never to fail in our parental duties, especially giving a child education. Once you fail in this, you lose 87.143% of your hold on your kids.
Take a look at Otedola. If he tells Cuppy to jump, she’ll ask how high. It is not because he is rich, it is because he has not failed in his duties as a FATHER. So no matter how she rebels, she will still remember she owes him a lot.
Now you see these small small girls going naked on IG? A lot of them left their parents in Asaba, Illorin and Amukoko to come hustle in Lagos/Lekki and environs. Some are the ones paying the fees of their younger ones at the tender age of 23. Some are the ones paying the rent of the houses they live in with their families.
Remember that small one that Lil Frosh beat up? What is a small girl like that doing alone in a Lekki apartment? Considering she isn’t from an influential home. She left her family to come hustle. Not get a degree, but HUSTLE.
So, forget about where their parents are, Power has changed hands. Na them be the parent now. The bitter truth! |

I stay here... I've stayed in Abeokuta, Ijebu-ode, Sagamu/Ilisan Remo, and Sango Ota.... You see Sango and Agbara..... Don't even go there... Their roads are heart breakingly dilapidated..... Dapo Abiodun is a misfit, infrastructurally..... Absolutely right! Sometimes I wonder why Ogun governors past and present have never deemed it fit to fix roads in Ota, Agbara and Ifo LG areas all of which generate so much in terms of revenue for the State. All emphasis is on Abeokuta sadly. |
