I wondered when I saw quite a number of mobile tailors, nail cutters, scrap dealers/cart pushers on the streets of Ikoyi while driving through recently. I thought cart pushers were banned from prowling Lagos streets since the BRF era. I also noticed that metal drain covers are missing at some junctions.

It seems poverty in the land is bursting at the seams. Hustlers will naturally seek for opportunities in affluent areas. It's such a great pity that majority of the people are struggling to survive against all odds.

Kudos to our VP. Always doing great things for the youth.

That's based on your knowledge. Zoroastrians (or whatever they're called) pray 5 times daily too. I'm a Christian and I believe in praying/praising more than 5 times a day. It's a matter of choice.

Also, for Christians, there's the "8 prayer watch" which is practiced diligently by Catholics especially.

Prayer is deeply spiritual and personal. Not everyone does the mass movement thing.

Yes o. One of them helped me when I had a flat tyre on 3rd mainland bridge. That stopped the itinerant area boys who were approaching for their usual harassment. Truly well trained, gallant officers. Proud of them always.

Your Governors, traditional rulers, elders and activists should urgently address the problem. You have the money. Try to find out the points of leakage and plug it permanently. What I saw passing through Asaba and visiting PH years ago was heartbreaking. I don't know if there's significant improvement now. I couldn't understand why places that should be at least a shade of Dubai were looking so drab and with poor infrastructure. Very sad indeed.

The SS deserves to be a tourists paradise. The people should have all basic amenities and a high standard of living. Unfortunately, the people are suffering mainly due to the greed and nonchalant attitude of their leaders.
