I felt sad looking at the family picture. The 2 grown up boys look like their real father. Devilish wife indeed!

May God bless the Judge and his wife for caring for these children against all odds. It's a nice way of saving them from extensive emotional trauma. God will prosper and protect them all.

I believe that was why they created Amotekun and Amotekun is armed so if Seyi Makinde is serious about the case in Ibarapa, he can simply deploy them to clear the farm lands... No more overdependence on the federal police.
The arms that they carry are inferior to that of the bandits. According to IGP, they're not even supposed to carry arms.

FG is still in full control of security in line with the constitution.

We already have Sabo (which is equivalent to Sabongari up North) in every major town of the South West.

RUGA will fit in nicely in the large expanses of land in the North.

People!!

This is part of today's RCCGs Open Heavens devotional which must have been written since last year.

Some people must be feeling guilty to have related it to whatever silly challenge is going on. People should get busy on positive things.

Agriculture › Re: I Want To Start Mushroom Business, How Profitable Is It? by delpee(f): 8:38pm On Jan 28, 2021
I tried it before after some training. It's profitable but not as easy and straightforward as it sounds. Those who do very well mostly have large establishments. I know of one that is in Ijebu and supplies some of the big supermarkets. Ensuring freshness from farm to market is key. Mushrooms gets spoilt easily. There's the option of drying but dried mushrooms are cheaper and not the preferred choice of mall shoppers.

A lecturer in Yabatech is a researcher on mushrooms and can give you more insight into the different types of mushrooms, their uses and product viability. Apart from the familiar mushrooms there's one that is used to deal with fibroids by Yorubas called Olu Iju (in Yoruba language). There are various options depending on your focus.

Try to learn a lot more. Visit mushroom farms and make more enquiries about marketing before you venture into it.

I wish you the very best.

The laws are there to be enforced. BRF did it. The willingness to succeed is what is required. Let the LGs have enforcement teams to handle their environments.

There are laws against street begging, hawking, wheelbarrow pushers etc. The problem is that of enforcement. It seems that after BRF, no Governor has tried to enforce the laws.

Politics › Re: The Sunday Igboho I Knew - Babafemi Ojudu. by delpee(f): 7:54pm On Jan 25, 2021
PR stuff for all who want to rubbish Sunday and make themselves look smart and committed to the Yoruba cause. We know those who genuinely love snd serve our people wholeheartedly.

All I know is that God uses whosoever He wants to fulfill His divine purpose. There are many instances of those considered bad being used for good purposes in the Bible.

Whatever he has done in the past is of no relevance in the present circumstances. His people can only see him as the one who saved them from oppression. Any other story doesn't count now.

By the way, if this was meant to be a secret why reveal it now? No honour amongst rogues perhaps.

Yorubas have properties in the North aplenty. Some who were born there know no other place as home.

He should allow his people to suffer and die enmass to please some people who feel entitled? Only a bastard does that. He's actually trying to be fair to all parties. Register as residents, get licensed for bush operations and you're good to go. What's wrong with that? I don't understand.

As Yorubas say...omo buruku lojo ire tie.

In line with the new orientation, government can "negotiate" with him towards "rehabilitation" if he's a terrorist.

All we want is peace so people can go about their businesses without fear, intimidation and oppression.

All good provided that they'll listen to amd investigate the stories of the villagers too. Many farmers have been killed according to the people. Many have no access to their farms yet they're predominantly farmers. We need to know the whole truth. This shouldn't just be about Sunday Igboho and the Sarki Fulani.

If they were in the bush during school hours, Amotekun is right in arresting them as long as they're not harmed. It takes a town to train a child. That's our culture.

Bad influence spreads fast and does a lot of damage to a child's future. The Naira Marley theory of lawlessness can not hold sway if we must train our children for a brighter future. We've lost so much as things are.
Family › Re: Bayo Adedeji, Wakanow CEO: I Pay My Chef N100k But Caught Him Stealing From Me by delpee(f): 11:29pm On Jan 22, 2021
smallsmall:
I donate to Charities but even that one has me thinking in recent times.
I ran into someone l had met on one of my charity runs, who works in a Charity and she was complaining about what she was being paid as salary.
I tried to console her to be calm afteral, a Charity is not a Bank or Oil Company!
She became furious and started pointing out to me, how the owner of the Charity uses the funds we donate, to fund a lavish lifestyle, buy properties here and there while telling the Children (who are supposed to be the real beneficiaries) and the workers that "there is no money" and if anyone confronts her with the facts of the expenses, she will sack them immediately.

She proceeded to give me a breakdown of 'recent expenses' by the Proprietor of the Charity and gave me two addresses of Houses she owned and said l should go and verify the owner.
I was dumbfounded and realised that l have been feeding the lavishness of another able-bodied human-being like myself, thinking l was doing charity and helping the needy.
I and some friends donate to the Prisons (Correctional Centres) but when we visit the Prison, they only dress-up five or six inmates for us to see (but wont allow us into the general prison population), as proof that our Charity is changing lives, but those who go their on Private Visit tell us of the terrible Hell that goes on inside those Walls.
Rumor has it that close to 90% of all donations to Charities, are stolen by those in-charge of the establishment.
This has got me in a quandary because as much as l like to help people (l really get a kick whenever someone smiles and their eyes light up at an unexpected gift or help), l am not a rich person that can throwaway a million Naira and not remember from which Wallet l took it or which Bank Account it came from, so if my help does not get to the intended people, it is like a waste or as if the money or help was stolen from me.

Maybe l have a wrong mentality because my brother says "Just do it and not get bothered about how it is used" but l still get bothered that the intended beneficiaries are suffering while the Fat Cows are thinking they are taking the Donors for a ride.
In some Countries, if you steal or loot money meant for Charity or take advantage of your Position as the owner of a Charity, you will end up in jail.

I still give but l do it to random, needy people on the streets and we lose contact immediately.
Bad experience indeed!

I'm involved in some charity funding but I get to see the end result. Sponsoring the education/appenticeship of less privileged children is another way. The school fees are paid directly to the school so the chance of embezzlement is eliminated.

Random giving is also good. One is happy to see their faces light up in joy yet there are no strong ties.

Keep giving whichever way is convenient for you. You won't ever lack by God's grace.
