Who cares? What is important to most of us is that they're rescued alive. Bandits attack or kidnap anyone they wish to. It has nothing to do with tribes.
May God touch their hardened hearts to show mercy to their victims. |

Believe it or not, they are sacrificing a lot for us as Nigerians. May God continue to work with them. Amen. My thoughts too. Like every human being, they have their faults. What's more important is that they sacrifice a lot to protect us. May God continue to guide, protect and bless them and their families. |

LegendHero: This is the gist.
—NNPC suffered a setback at the Appeal Court, prompting Abba to call a strategic timeout.
—Abba Yusuf axed their initial manager and hit the legal transfer market for fresh talent.
—In a surprising last-minute move, they pulled off the signing of the season, bringing in Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, the legal juggernaut.
—With the clock ticking in extra time, the great SAN showcased his legal prowess, delivering a spectacular win for ABBA Yusuf! Well written! Good sense of humour. |

If you're in Lagos, go to the nursing mother/baby market at Dosunmu/Tom Jones area near Idumota if you want to cut costs. There's usually a wide variety depending on your taste and affordability. I haven't been there in a long while but I know it still exists.
Being a first child, you're likely to spend more on some fixed items which you won't have to buy for a second child e.g. cot and wardrobe.
Let her know that you need to save towards the running costs after delivery which is not always predictable....but you can estimate. She should learn to be prudent. Child nurturing is expensive but with good management and grace, you'll succeed.
May God grant her safe delivery. |

Kemi Adeosun was arguably the most open and hardworking under Buhari and always upholding her social contract with Nigerians with regular updates on her activities as minister, liked or not, but she had to go, and that coincided with that government's total loss of connection with Nigerians. The other ministers were probably like, what's the point? You do o, you don't do o, they will still complain. Hmmm! Probably so. The management of our finances derailed drastically after she left. |

Laple0541: Sagamu is the most unsecured town in Ogun state, Infact it should be the cultist’s headquarters of southwest. You see bricklayers, vulgarizers even ordinary barbers forming cultists!
To worsen the matter, the elders in the town are even supporting the madness. No thanks to OGD, the abnormally gained much momentum during his time as governor. Very sad indeed. Sagamu used to be a peaceful and progressive town. One wonders how and why cultism became a phenomenon since the OGD days. |

onuman: "The Panel, led by Justice Akinola Aguda, recommended that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)". Southwesterners quickly moved in droves to Abuja following the recommendations of Akinola Aguda.
Most Easterners in Lagos remained behind in Lagos. The federal infrastructures of Lagos were abandoned to decay. Taxes of the Easterners and others remaining in Lagos started to be used to build up the infrastructures of Lagos.
Today, the houses and businesses of those Easterners are being demolished by Tinubu led govt. because the Easteners in Lagos didn't vote Tinubu during the last presidential election. Crude and primitive vendetta. This tribal angle holds no water. Much of Lagos that you see today was developed with Cocoa money under the Western Region. The Ikeja, Matori and Ilupeju industrial estates, Ikeja GRA, Palmgrove and so much more. Many of the buildings on Broad St and Marina were built by Odua Investment Company. In summary, Lagos territory stopped around Fadeyi and Surulere. |

NwokoloOwa: Women need to be extra careful when occupying political position because they tend to be so naive and vulnerable, not necessarily corrupt. Most of them lack the necessary public service exposure and deftness.
Men are far more dangerous and corrupt but tend to cover their tracks better, and they study their environment so well and acclimatize with the system more quickly.
God help Beta Edu. You're somehow right. So it happened to Dr Adenike Grange whose naivety did her in. I believe Dr Betta Edu meant well. She probably fell into a trap due to her inexperience and naivety. Hope it ends well for her. |

This could just be the regular tour allowance obtainable in Ministries and parastatals staff on official assignment. It may appear like campaign funds taken out as transport cost which is wrong if so. Otherwise, they may have chartered helicopters or cars for the period but listed as airfare.
