bitbillionaire: So they just wake up to discover it is a residential area after all this years!
Imagine the cost of demolishing all the buildings and structures in that computer village and building residential apartments there from scratch. Is that not madness? The plan to relocate predates this government. The area was a residential area. Fela once lived there. His shrine was then a problem in the neighbourhood. All they've been trying to do is to revert to the masterplan. Katangua had been earmarked for a computer village but it seems the will to develop it wasn't there. |

AK481: Once opon a time there was a yaba market ,that was doing so well and had the biggest line of clothing business ,the levy and tax paid made it one of the richest LG not just in lagos but Nigeria .
But one thing made the government of lagos sad , too sad. It was controlled by igbos ,the igbos who are typically traders .
They closed the market, built a gigantic mall and gave it to a yoruba man to lease or rent ,but first let the yorubas be the priority to rent to.
Today, the mall is being rented by snakes and lizard ,only the down floor have spar.
So where did the igbos go, well they still remained in a corner there, making their monies .
This ikeja computer village is another example .it will fail . There are Igbos, Yorubas and Hausas in the new Tejuoso market. Many of the shops are occupied. Seems you've not been there lately. |

Jennyclay: If men can be praising us like this, sending us money every time and taking good care of us, Honestly there won’t be problem.
We ladies (old and young) like flattering words that would make our head swell and blush. We like to be pampered like eggs and carried like a pot made of clay. What stops you from having your own money to earn some respect? That's not to say a man should not care for his wife but having an entitlement mentality dishonors greatly. Well maybe my attitude is based on what I learnt growing up and the words in Proverbs 31:10-31 |

I also remember that a man from the East was the first to start kidnapping business in Nigeria.
I Go Before Others in CRIMINALITY. Please learn to comment without resorting to tribal issues. Don't be responsive to the same attitude from others. It doesn't dignify one and it doesn't enhance rational thinking and intelligent discourse. There are criminals in every tribe. Objective comments work better. |

Probably an arranged kidnap by those who want to make money from the mourners. This is outrageous and so mean. People need to be humane and to have compassion if they fear God.
May God touch their hardened hearts. I pray that the mourners get the corpse back soonest. May his soul rest in peace. |

Why can everyone comment on a Christian thread but one cannot comment on a Muslim thread without asking to be converted to Islam? You can request for the same if you consider it necessary. For instance, only those who accept Jesus Christ as their saviour should proceed to comment on your specific Christian topics. |

The fact that Miyetti Allah is involved confirms the suspicions of people about their intentions when they said they were launching a vigilante group to operate across the country.

paxx: Because Every single thing Emefiele did Buhari signed off. So my main question is.... Do we really believe that Buhari was 100% innocent and clueless to everything Emefiele was doing. You worked in the Presdency then and followed the process? The problem with most people on this platform is that they judge based on hearsay and assumptions. I appreciate that many never had the opportunity of working in well set up institutions due to lack of opportunities. That's why it's difficult to comprehend established processes and procedures. The former HOS explained the system in place in details to the court. In addition, foreign observers don't collect money from the countries that they visit for election supervision so the Presidency could not have requested for cash. Emefiele had the President's ears too and could have confirmed the request which didn't come through the normal channel, if he wasn't involved. |

MyExpression: Lolzzz
First, that union is for workers in that food, beverage, tobacco and alcohol industry.
NAFDAC did not ban them from work...production will still continue...and if they are retrenched due to redundancy...the union should fight for their welfare package, not continued production of a banned substance.
And again, the ban was well agreed by the producers and nafdac bout 5yrs ago, to take full executive effect in Jan 2024.
They were all aware, and should have made plans for change management...the union was aware also.
Misplaced priority of union...continued production isn't the problem...safeguard your jobs in the light of the change...don't let these big companies reap you off coz of the change. Matter of fact, hold your companies to ransom if they disengage y'all indiscriminately, coz they were aware of the coming change...especially if you were not engaged as a Temporary worker. Full explanation with the right advice. |
