Most unfortunate. The hospital should contact the man's town/village. Some people will know his family.
I pray that he's fully restored.

grin angry please rest this Akara stuff.Akara is made up of 98% beans and during the slave trade era yoruba people never engaged in beans cultivation even till date.the cultivation
of beans, groundnut, maize etc are majorly northern nigerian and meddle belt crops.i am not saying that the Yorubas doesn't have
foods persay but those foods you are mentioning are borrowed foods just like foods like rice, spaghetti, macaroni, suya, indomie, bread, potatoes etc are all borrowed foods,
We had native beans grown here years ago before the Northern version took over the markets. I remember one known as Sunmunu and another one whose name skips my memory now. I had the opportunity of eating both in my younger years.

Akara
Moi Moi aren't Yoruba foods
Really? grin grin
Akara that has always been used as a major part of traditional ceremonies since the days of my ancestors.
E.g. When old people die, akara and eko is prepared daily for guests for the first few days. (No food is served when young people die.) Modernity and urbanisation is what brought about puffpuff and drinks.

There's a special akara prepared in my village for special occasions. It's similar to Akara Osu...big, thick but still fluffy inside and very sweet.

Farming of moinmoin leaves have been the specialty of women in some parts of Osun State for ages. Usually grown easily on Cocoa farms.

I think the agents should be made to refund whatever was deducted from the loans as a form of deterrence.
Most of those who collected the loans seem not to have used it well going by the comments.

It will be nice if people concentrate less efforts on tribal and religious issues. It's taking us nowhere but rather complicating our lives.

It’s shameful that fellow women on instagram are attacking her saying she is ugly . Is being fine or ugly the basis for marriage
Terrible! Probably insecure, envious or immature ladies. What a man desires for a long life relationship goes beyond physical beauty which is subjective. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder anyway.
Politics › Re: Aerial View Of Dugbe, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria (pix) by delpee(f): 5:10pm On Jan 01, 2024
@OP
There's no point showing the modern parts of Ibadan to those who are stuck in the brown roof mindset.

We know that every town/city in Yorubaland has the old areas with family compounds where our ancestors lived centuries ago and the new areas where the younger generations are building. The old places provide a sense of history and connection to the past. I see for instance that Agodi gate and Bode areas were the borders of old. The areas in between which includes the Palace, has a lot of historical sites.

Tinubu and his men did not read this. Security wise, Nigeria is under. Going to Kwara, you have to hire security escorts. Something, I never imagine in my days. When were younger 2am we are still on the road, Omu-Aran, Oke-Onigbin, Edidi, Oro, Esie, Ijan-Otu, Agbele, Agbonda, Iludun, Agbamu, Arandun, Aran-Orin, Ijara, Isanlu, Owu, especially during Christmas and New Year. Now things have deteriorated that my town is a target. grin grin grin grin
Really? I thought the Oro axis is relatively safe. I know that moving towards Kogi, the story changes.

Of course, in the ancient part of town where the centuries old original family compounds, oldest markets, Churches, Mosques and the Oba's palace are.

The trending videos of BAT in Lagos yesterday shows the usual crowd on the Island.

Those were insinuations made when the capital was moved to Abuja. Lagos has only grown more. That's why it is said that " oja oyingbo o mo pe enikan o wa". Eko ile o le di ahoro.

He didn't run away initially because he chose the war option and hoped to succeed. Gowon had no choice but to respond.

listen to what the governor said on channels interview, even the past governor gave Fulani pple land to graze all to please Fulani and apc of Asi rock, whose land did he give to Fulani? Fulani re not indigenous to plateau, because the present governor has insisted that indigenous plateau pple must go back to their ancestral lands and will never be refugees in their fathers land, since then he and the people has never known peace, very unfortunate.
Hmmm! Greater insight! They have a right to go back to their villages as is being done in Borno State for BH victims. Ranching is the way out. The former Kano Gov offered the herders a big place with facilities for ranching. Seems they have a different mission. Very sad indeed.
Food › Re: Cooking Soups With Only Groundnut Oil Instead Of Palm (red)oil by delpee(f): 8:04pm On Dec 29, 2023
If you're dealing with cholesterol, please follow the doctors advice especially if you're prone to having high BP. Life is more important than all the sentiments being espoused here. Health is wealth.

Yes, you can cook egusi with genuine groundnut oil. Add enough pepper sauce for color. I do that often. Note that most of the vegetable oil being sold here is actually refined/bleached palm oil. You can get real ororo epa (groundnut oil) although a bit more expensive because it's mainly produced in the North.

Groundnut is good for cholesterol control.

Read again and try to comprehend what he said about Gowon.
By the way, the Nigerian Army didn't take Ojukwu. He fled to avoid losing his life.

Must be skit.

No African mother will reject a successful son unless she's a witch.

The joy of every mother is to see her sons progress.

So, a 22 year old 200 level student should be broke and poor in Nigeria?
I bought my first land in 300 level.

This is the problem with Nigerians. The reason police profile a young boy driving a car as yahoo boy.

Young boys are making money without yahoo. Yahoo is not the only means of making money online.

As a student, learn a skill while studying. Don't always depend on your parents.
If he can explain the source of his income, his mother will accept his gift and celebrate him.

A true African mother will not support a wayward child in his corrupt ways.
