Odidigboigbo: How did Jim Obazee arrived at his conclusion when those involved where not questioned before now? This is how they keep messing up sensitive case like this. They were invited. They didn't show up. Now they've been asked to report to their office to present their case on the 28th of December according to the news. Hope they'll be there to straighten the records. |

vacanci: you are so wrong. Come to Abuja and see how the hausa people shop with reckless abandon. They dump all sorts of things in shopping baskets including things u wonder if they actually need them.
A woman and her driver enter a mall with their kids. As shopping goes on, kids keep picking stuffs and throwing into baskets and mother will keep quiet. these happens alot as see especially in Sahad stores.
When u want to pay for your little shopping and queue behind a hausa shopper who is already checking out his goods, you go wait taya
i have not seen shoppers like them.
reminds me of the song, "LANDLORD TRAVEL AND SEE" I remember those days of shopping in Sahad. Yeah, Northerners are great shoppers. |

NAFDAC is doing it's best with limited resources. The Chairman explained their lack of adequate personnel and modern equipment to enhance their operations. They have only 2000 staff for our nation of 200 million and very wide areas to cover per state. |
Nairaland General › Re: Nairaland Is Partially Back; A Work In Progress by delpee(f): 12:30pm On Dec 21, 2023 |
Seun: Dear Nairalanders and Advertisers.
Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.
After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the support team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.
So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.
There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and support that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.
Best Regards, Seun Osewa. Well done but you need to work harder on moderation. People need to be more civil and decent in their interactions with others. Tribalists and those who are intolerant of other's religions need to be dealt with. Freedom of expression is no reason why one should bully, intimidate or infuriate others. Let Nairaland go back to the years of intelligent discourse which is what attracted most of us to the site back then. May God guide and help you to full restoration and higher glory. |

LAXconfidential: Guys, let this be a warning for all of us to stop all the tribal and antisemitic comments if we truly love Nairaland ❤ I pray that the tribalists and religious warriors will learn to be more civil in their comments. We can express our opinions without being rude and condescending to one another. |

People should stop tribal comments. We should reason like matured and reasonable people irrespective of taunts from those who lije to Stoke the embers of hate and division.
Fact remains that there are criminals in every part of this nation. Express opinions on what should be done to stop their criminal acts which affect us all, instead of checking names just to ridicule a whole tribe, because of the misdeeds of a minority of criminals in their midst. |

Why don't we allow things to be done in line with the constitution? Faulty or not, that's what we have to maintain the rule of law in our society. We can always amend it to make things better instead of random or self centred negotiations that ignores the will of the people. |

Shame on you.
Now that Nairaland is back, I hope Seun will sanitize this forum because the hatred and bigotry here make me sick. Frankly, Seun needs to pay real attention to that. It's nauseating that some people only come here to spew rubbish against others. We should rather be focused on how to make our lives and the nation better irrespective of tribe and religion. |

cooltola: Enjoying your wedding should not break you financially.
Foods , drinks are free there, everyone want to eat party rice , dsmall chops and drink, dance and enjoy themselves.
Do not expect family members or friends to spray you a lot of money. Economy is not smiling.
Do not pass your boundaries , learn to cut your coat according to your size.
After wedding is over, everyone goes back home and the gbese or debt is on you. If you can afford a wedding, please go ahead.
You just starting your life together, don't start with debt or no money. Good advice. |

GboyegaD: At the end of the wedding is the marriage where the couples are left on their own. Therefore, Amy couple who chooses to impress their guest at their wedding with resources they do not have are the ones on the losing end.
One thing to remember though, you cannot satisfy everyone. Irrespective of how elaborate your wedding is, at least one person will still have something to complain about. Exactly. |

DoctorAyukebot: This is how low social media has brought us. An elderly man modestly and neatly clothed is being tossed for not going as far as his inlaw. What is important is that the old man is seemingly happy. We attach alot of importance on trivial things, make a fuse about them, troll others for it, giving marks and grades on circumstances we know nothing about.
