Demdem: The airport currently being built in Asaba by Udaughan, few kilometers from Onitsha can still serve Anambra coupled with other airports all around the state. Anambra doesnt need another brand new airport.
Stop trying so hard to sound stupid...Anambra state needs an airport..preferably a cargo airport....do you know how many goods and people that come into that state on a weekly basis?? what of revenue generation.,job creation.please quit this argument...its not worth it and you will definitely lose at the end of the day..
aint you guys tired of that poo.

i have a rev fr. brother and i know his position on obi. in my own parish i also know the position of all the priests there on obi.
Why do people like making careless unsubstantiated statements. Can you bring up an evidence that all Catholics were asked to vote obi?

is ngige not also catholic?
is ekwunife not also catholic?
is soludo not also catholic?

Ol boy just go get a life!
Bleep you.you bleeding shortchanged idiot...whats my bleeping business that your bro is a priest?? or are you also ignorant that obi has fallen out with almost everybody that worked for his second term including victor umeh??so why won't your re father bro feel indifferent towards him?? am tell you something that happened in 2010 you are here blabbing..so you don't know catholics voted for obi?? so in that your small inconsequential brain you will gladly choose the other candidates over a serving governor of catholic faith if you were a catholic head? or you don't know obi's wife margareth embarked on a trip to all the annual women's august meeting of all the chuches??bleep off..i don't have time for slow people.. angry angry

Alusi Okija: Your first problem is that you are from IMO STATE.

You guys in that state have been so a'nally r'aped that if your governor decides to paint all the roads red, you would count it as development. When you spoke about Akwa Ibom was when I realized you had lost the plot of governance. The job of the government is to build roads, provide security, basic amenities (healthcare, water & electricity) and take care of the economy of the state by making the state business friendly (either by special tax breaks to companies or other such incentives).

Akwa Ibom state governor has pushed his state way ahead of its time. He has startegically positioned his state to accomodate the growth he is anticipating. He has invested in superb roads, mapped out streets and is opening up new areas, is one of the few states investing in energy generation (like Rivers State) so soon enough, they would be self sufficient in electricity and then all he has to do is find a way to make the state as safe as possible (although this is a function of the federal government and is barely within his control)... Also he has invested in education both locally and internationally by sending QUALIFIED Akwa Ibomites abroad to further their studies, refubrishing the local schools as well. I dont know how much he has done in Agriculture but Akwa Ibom state is on the right path. This done, sit back and watch that state breakout. They have proximity to River State and Calabar ports so business would be good for importers. They also have a good airport with actual daily flights so go figure... Soon, people would appreciate what he has done. Do you think a factory would want to be in a state where the roads are bad, the electricity is a mess and the security is poor or in one that has all these?!

Industries are good, but basic amenities remain the priority of the government.

Odenigbo Aroli: You think Soludo can outwit Ngige in Anambra politics ? I dey laff sef. You need to understand that Ngige is a GOD FATHER in Anambra politics. He defeated Soludo in the last governorship election. Dude is like the proverbial cat with seven lives. The only reason why Peter defeated him is because he(peter) has brought brought lots of basic infrastructures and also with the power of incumbent. This will be a tough election and dont count Akunyili out.

Nri Priest speaking.
Bro...chris ngige is a good material anyday..dude is loved by all and sundry..but mark my words brother..HE CAN NEVER WIN ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION ON THE PLATFORM OF ACN...DUDE SHOULD DECAMP TO ANOTHER PARTY IF HE WANTS TO ACHIEVE HIS GUBERNATORIAL DREAM...THE AVERAGE ANAMBRARIAN DOES NOT LIKE ACN..THE Yoruba PARTY... cool cool cool cool

Odenigbo Aroli: "Unconventional means"; can you elaborate more on that ?
peter obi connived with the roman catholics hierarchy..infact rev fathers specifically devoted morning and evening masses to talk about the supposed good of adaobi...the catholics were all asked and cajoled to vote for him...infact on election day proper...the bells of all the catholic churches in the state sounded at exactly 10am and 12.30pm..signalling and reminding the catholics to troop out and vote for the rev's anointed candidate adaobi..ask around... wink wink wink wink
I knew Anambra state would have been a million times better than it is today if this man was allowed to become governor. How much is he going to steal? He has all the money he could need and he commissioned an airport project just 1 week into office, unfortunately the sadist peter obi canceled it for nothing. However Andy should leave 2014 for soludo. he should focus on the senate (likewise ngige) and leave the governorship or soludo. soludo is the blueprint for the state. They should not allow the bickering that cost them the seat in 2010 to repeat itself in 2014. They should settle for soludo. and soludo must ensure he sends peter obi to jail or argentina (like sylva) whn he becomes governor. that man is a cruel thief.
you are so on point...peter obi is and will remain the worst governor after that dim wit mbadinuju...its a pity Anambrarians vote based on sentiments and religious affiliations esp d roman catholics..like i always argue with my uncle..The ubas are really eager to redeem their already bruised and over dented reputation in anambra nay ala-igbo...andy uba has all the money he needs dude is on a salvage mission..too bad we mis-interpreted him, guess the inactions of his heavily demon possesed brother is still fresh in our memory..but i think he should take a bow and leave the stage for the nnukwu mmanwu charles soludo..thank God APGA is in disarray now..so soludo is definitely the man to beat...i rest my case till 2014 cool cool cool

Muhehehehehehe.. So, all those amala and ewedu sellers are from Ogun state?? If Ogun indigenes make up 99% of Lagos, where are the indigenes of Lagos? I guess in your own delusion, the population of lagos is 300%..

There are more people from Oyo, than Ogun in Lagos.. 70% of the area boys in Lagos are from Oyo/Osun state, fact.. You're deluded beyond cure.

Ibos are not up to 20% of lagos, fact

Pointblank, the OP is insulting the intelligence of the good people of Abia state, and even more the Igbo people. Since I came to Nairaland, I've learned A WHOLE LOT about different Igbo groups and states, and based on my personal experience through interaction with Ndigbo in the Eze Ndigbo council, Abians are BY FAR the most active, intelligent, purpose driven, tenacious, patriotic and committed to the Igbo emancipation and public service. I am not saying this to massage anyone's ego or ridicule anyone, just stating the facts! cool

Onlytruth, Ndu Di N'eziokwu 1 of Igboland, Eze Ndigbo Nairaland. cool cool cool
lies man..pure diluted lies...ANAMBRA STATE indigenes..Light of the entire black nation are the most intelligent, purpose driven, articulate and most committed to the plight and advancement of the entire igbo nay black race...we have consistently upheld and churned out both human and material resources to the advancement of the igbo race...you guys should give us credit for that...

ABIA and Ebonyi states are the bane of everything good in ala Igbo...hardly educated and bereft of any meaningful development..sad but true...from the era of the bakassi boys down to inter tribal wars of the ezillo people..pray tell..which village fights itself these days??its really appalling..my job as a geologist have taken me to most parts of abia and ebonyi and believe me man..that place na die..its only in abia i see a governor of an oil producing state...with all the FAAC allocation,13%derivation celebrating a metal pedestrian bridge... shocked shocked shocked shocked..the port-harcourt aba rd is littered with mountains of refuse...infact aba is the headquarters of dirt, unbelievable roads and jungle justice...the governor has literally mismanaged anything in sight including the beloved enyimba football club..its really sad man...go to neighboring akwa-ibom state and you will indeed weep for abia state....Goodswill akpabio has transformed that state..all t.a does is pay mediocre like this infidel poster to launder his image...
