It's not everybody that tells you about Jesus that is inviting you to a church.. there's a difference between religion and relationship! Unfortunately, even many "christians" are not in this relationship - Isaiah 29:13 They are one of the reasons many have called Jesus a scam! For those who are so fixated on this world, two questions and one bible passage for you 1. Does the money, technology, fame, power, knowledge and status you garner here go with you beyond the grave? 2. Is there anyone so great, popular, rich and powerful in this realm that has defied the grave? 3. After you've answered 1 and 2 above, try to read Mark 8:36 And never again forget this -- Jesus is about relationship, not a religion! Even Christ Himself couldn't stand the religious people in his time Righthussle: |
Really? On what grounds if I may ask please? Or11: |
If it's worth being in the Guinness records, then it shouldn't be an easy task to break...why is this feat seemingly "easy" that every Tom, Dick and Harry is latching on it and ready to challenge it? What you're proposing is like saying when you break a record in athletics for instance then there shouldn't be any athletic event again for a period.. people should stop training and honing their craft... When it is possible that what you're claiming is a world-class achievement for you is just a walk in the park for another.. Lebron just broke Abdul Jabbar's all time points record in the NBA.. it took 38 years! It's not beans, literally!! kernniejay: |
There are so many fresh vacancies here people https://stresertintegrated.com/vacancies |
First, is this a nice-to-have or a must-have? If Lagosians lament about traffic everytime, how will this improve their situation? Secondly, do we have an independent agency that audits government contracts, process of award, monies spent, justification for the project etc. like you would do doing procurement in structured corporate organizations? Thirdly, in a densely populated state where people cannot boast of steady power supply daily, how do we intend to manage these buses well? Charge them with generators? Create their own separate grid or charge with solar (which we didn't harness to power our industries or factories)? Lastly, they call Lagos a mega city yet the citizens' common mode of transportation is a fleet of sick buses mostly driven by men who didn't attend driving school, have no regard whatsoever for traffic laws, and supposedly regulated by hemp-smoking street miscreants. And lest I forget, traffic officers never stop these danfos to ask for their papers, and neither are they on queues where vehicle inspections for licensing is done. So are these oyinbo electric buses going to replace our agbero danfos? |
Why do we normalize absurdity in this country? Public office holders don't stay in the country and keep flying to developed countries to spend the people's Commonwealth and nobody's talking. They even go with paparazzi and send pictures home for their disciples to worship - and those ones cannot even afford basic healthcare. This is just incredible! And If this one is already traveling here and there now at this point, when he becomes president he'll be going aborad to do even an ordinary poop! It's really sad..how do we move forward like this?? |
What were the terms of the contract? From your write-up, you were trained for one month, did it mean you didn't work for the period? You know some organizations in these climes believe they've expended your salary when you're sent on training ![]() oladahunsi: |
In a sane clime, government officials in Lagos will use the same BRT bus to and from work! But no, they throw remnants to the public here while they eat like kings... Then they use tribalism and sectionalism to win the gullible to their side while they and their children eat their commonwealth! For those who thought APC was for their tribe in Lagos, will they enter those buses and get discounted fares? For those whose votes were bought for 5k, I hope they can use the money for the next 4 years to cushion fare hikes. I am Yoruba, and I have roots with the Animashauns of Lagos, and all I ask for is good governance at every level. The only true enemy of the masses are politicians! #goodgovernanceovertribalism #goodgovernanceoverpolitics #commonsenseovergullibility |
Besides that, Nigerians feel that whenever they're singing any song that has God in it, then it's praise and worship. ![]() This is pure gyration and that's what most people do "singing God's song," even in the church! It's all dance, 'go with the flow' and emotions.. no true relationship with the One they claim to be singing to. Some don't even know the lines of the songs, nor understand the language at times. How then do they truly connect? There's a wide gap between being religious and practicing true worship! Nigeria is a densely populated assembly of religious people!! DodadaKoKigbe: |

I have been privileged to taste Coca Cola in more than 6 developed countries. The quality and taste's different... You can take that to the bank!! |
This video's been flying around. Am I the only one who thinks it was scripted? |
After this, how many times will he ride on this train with the people he's supposed to be governing? Almost never! Do they ride on your BRT buses? Do they enter your danfo buses? Do they use the hospitals they commission? Come on people, think! Nigerians just don't seem to know what to demand from their |
Nigeria! Where hospitals REJECT those in need of urgent medical care. He could have survived if he was attended to immediately.. May we not be victims of this failed system in Jesus' name, AMEN! |
Nigerians... SMH! Qatar is pronounced Kotoh ![]() The same way you'll hear some of them call fork "fek" ![]() |
This one only knows how to declare public holidays...reeks of incompetence like others! Always dashing themselves portfolios and appointments as compensation not minding the impact on the larger society. To make this announcement, they would have budgeted heavily and even called a press conference.. ancestors that should be in some farmhouse leading 200million people in this 21st century! |
Like the police is indirectly saying, "protect yourselves because you can't always trust us" The #1 point here should have been a dedicated NPF number, SMS number, email, etc. to report cases of kidnapping |
A Governor builds a road with the monies of the people, taxes from the rich and poor...and the next thing he gets a cover page mention and people are dancing up and down. Are we okay in this country? When you pick up your phone to make a call and it goes through, please do you celebrate the network provider for connecting you to the person at the other end? No! Cause that's their freaking job! The leaders of the Nigerian masses keep making them backward in their thinking and expectations. Kai! |
LegacyB:Yes, really unfortunate!! ![]() |
Honestly, I don't understand the correlation between "proceeds" and burial. What are they selling or auctioning? |
When will Nigeria ever ever ever stop this age cheating? We like quick fixes.. Look at how congratulations are flying around.. untop lie?? Jeez! Claiming these women with small stature are not 17 yet.. Come on nowww |
The Airforce of Uganda were displaying their military power and the recent innovation they introduced to their Airforce which is parachute. I read this with overwhelming shame for the African continent. |

Hello Fam. A good friend is leaving for Northern Ireland in a few weeks and looking for a connection there to help him settle down. The school is Ulster University, Belfast Northern Ireland. He is open to host family, homestay options in that locality just so he is able to settle in well. Let's help a brother. You can reach him via jibrin22.nja@gmail.com to discuss how best to go about this. Thanks people! |
When next you have a corporate meeting, go in your underpants to prove this rather lame point. And talking about capacity, kindly outline Shettima's Roger3D: |
I don talk am. Nigerians, especially the masses cannot move forward like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGVH4qHxV9o dewiseacre: |
Adeleke has nothing to offer... He's just another Rochas Okorocha In the making! An affluent individual testing the might of his wealth in politics and popularity! The victory in Osun is a family and political party victory (they've started partying and dancing already), not a victory for the people! Adeleke will only further enrich his family and cohorts, rather than structure the state for great things. Unfortunately, many here and other platforms I've seen are still shrouded under the mist of party politics...they still think it's APC vs PDP. The enemies of the people are all the above! Our major problem in Nigeria are the individuals we've surrendered politics to as a nation. They are the ones who keep tossing the people to and fro for power, prestige and wealth accumulation. Until technocrats begin to take power and review our systems, structures and policies for the good of all, we will continue to end up with this kind of comic - leaders with dance steps that make the people feel jolly - and not ones with a plan their children, and children's children. |
Aregbesola's forte is announcing public holidays. Clueless old men who should be harvesting cassava in their villages! |
How about the FG? What should we do to them? Ofemmanu1: |
People, ask yourselves... Why would someone as influential and powerful (as acclaimed) wait till he becomes president to provide a solution that the nation needs to move forward economically? People are dying every day but he wants to become president before he can proffer a solution to banditry and insecurity. His ambition comes first before the people! Imagine if he had come up with this 24/7 electricity blueprint like 3 years ago and passed on to his puppet in Aso Rock to implement. If Nigerians were enjoying that constant power today, this old man would not need to stress himself campaigning. His success would have automatically paved way for him. Abi?? |
