Very nice topic and well done for trying @ liftedone What about the estates, after listing everything that will be made available they don't even do a basic impression of what the Estate will look like when completed An artist impression will at least help reduce time wasting Half of the sale is done with pictures the rest just luck, marketing, price etc Lawyer: how about a topic on monthly rent and annual rent, are we ripe for it? |
I knew it from day one!, CBN has lost the battle to save the naira for now. I am predicting N170-$1. just received some information from a very authentic source that lagos state urban and regional planning ministry is set to demolish the conoil filling station at Lekki to set up a round-about there. i think this is more of a political issue becauseyou think roundabouts are to be constructed on unused lands, do you really think roundabouts are for beautification or they actually serve a purpose? whats political about a roundabout and just one site? ![]() |

He said, “We need to say to ourselves that part of the way that we would walk our way out of this crisis is that we create a couple of millions of jobs for people who would earn N20,000 and N35,000 a month.the problem is theres no data to say how many nigerian are employed or how many jobs are created or filled in xyz sector how many jobs have been created since yaradua got into office? |
Having spent the first 8 years of my career in the banking sector, I do agree that some of the banks result posted are at times exaggerated, that is not to say that they are ficticious (I hope the wise and intellects amongst us understand that). No one but a fool will undermine the role these same banks have played in the socio-economic development of this nation of ours (and just before u mention that they don't support the real sector of the economy) if nothing at all they constantly mop up about a fifth of our half baked graduate on a yearly basis. Yeah their business models might not be the best in terms ethical and professional banking, but would we have preferred them do it the western way and employ only those graduates whom are truly fit to work in these organisation. There is no gain saying that less than 10% of Nigerian graduates on a yearly basis will fit into this profile. As for tubbytubby I really don't know what your mission is , but I do know for certain that the likes of you don't deserve to be employed by anyone let alone an organisation. If at all anything you said is considered true , then you dont have the moral right to spill that out on a public forum afterall part of your employment condition(s) forbade you from disclosing any information you had priviledged access to to anyone or body. Tubbytubby you are an epitome of the average Nigerian graduate , unprofessional and morally bankrupt the your likes are the ones messing up the banking industry.
yes actually, its not like they recruit more than 10% annually they only did major recruitment in the past 2-3 years it's even in their own best interest to 'do it the western way' it safe for everybody taht way not unless they want to keep manipulating figures, i mean after the CFAs, ACCAs course home and abroad like they post on their resume why bend the rules- they have a moral obligation to employ the best they can and make more money for their shareholders not boast about biggest, largest, fattest blah blah, naija banking is so ![]() blowing the whistle is allowed ![]() |
dont be too proud, they might be giving you the new boy treatment, make one of them your friend or like a guidian to show you the ropes but if madam bow-leg is treating you like a messenger, show her your job specification ![]() |
Injection of capital into the NSE how? I don't see any reason why govt should pump taxpayers money into companies that are declaring over 100% profit, what's the point of giving companies more money when they are declaring huge profits and no company (banks) announced they are having toxic assets in nigeria big enough to de-stabilise them if anything I think the government should inject funds into proper manufacturing companies with capacity to absorb at least 1000 new graduates or unemployed people if they have a clear business plan. There's no point throwing monies at banks that they are deliberately manipulative. remember less than 10% of Nigerians invest in the stock market so using their money to help out banks that refuse them credit will be unjust; to them the money can be used to provide basics-water, healthcare, security etc |
